Remembering Matthew Christopher Colby28 August 1993 - 28 July 2013
Matthew was a loving son, sibling, and friend to many. He was raised in Houston, Texas, and lived a happy and full life. He played trumpet in the Langham Creek Marching Band for 4 years and graduated from Langham Creek High School in 2012. He was active in Boy Scouts and achieved the Eagle Scout rank. He finished his first year at the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Computer Science, and was a Dean's Scholar and a Turing Scholar. During a summer internship at Indeed in Austin, Matthew died of complications from a seizure related to Tuberous Sclerosis.
He is survived by his parents, Craig & Margie Colby; his brothers, Mark, John, and Ryan Colby; his sister, Kaitlin Colby; his grandparents, John & Catherine Moore and Gerry & Kay Colby; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance.
