- **Readying limited product releases**, and continuing to support / advise on Nounish proposals where helpful
- **Jokerace rounds**: saw very low organic engagement and opportunistic arbitrage behavior from anonymous wallets. Without committing additional personal funds to outbid last-minute vote sniping, rounds were consistently won by same account(s) e.g. 0xd3811Eb19A779eCB57d57f2E43D419b71Ca8622e who imo is purely there to game these voting mechanics, not be Nounish...

Each round was ~$100 (≈10 rounds total), making this a low-cost experiment overall, with most funds ultimately captured back and paid to contributing artists.
Given results, a pivot toward **focused, time-bound hackathon-style rounds** instead of ongoing weekly rounds seems the wiser path.

## Notes on the EOY Award Show
From my perspective, the experiment was successful:
- **1 proposal distributed 7 Nouns**, instead of ~7 proposals
(client incentives compound; paying ~$1k in fees to distribute a ~$1.5k Noun becomes inefficient at scale)
- Rewarded **high-volume, consistently weird cultural output**
(e.g. ~3,500 Nounish meals by the legendary taroron)
- Recipients appear aligned as **long-term holders** (time will tell)
- Distribution was unexpected, and recipients hopefully felt seen and valued
- Closed the year on a high note and kicked off 2026 strongly for those who wanted to keep the party going (JP’s “boy award show”)
- Demonstrated at least one ongoing **use case for nouns.gg**
- Extended **real agency to Nouncil** beyond pure delegation mechanics
