Since we didn’t have the new link for the Prop Updates website, we were under the impression that the platform was down. For that reason, we posted our latest update less than a couple months ago, publicly on X, where it has remained clearly visible on our account.
It’s disappointing to learn that this update apparently wasn’t checked before a candidate was put forward to stop funding for a musical our team is working incredibly hard to bring to life.
For clarity and transparency, here is the link to the X thread containing the full update:

# Nogglesboard Propdate IV
This is the fourth Propdate for the Noggleboards Nounish Surfboards Proposal (Prop 752).

Big thanks to everyone who’s supported it and helped shape its progress so far 🙏 **LFG.**
## Nounish Surfboards Update
The moment has finally arrived, Nounish fam. 🫡 The Nounish Surfboards are officially finished, carrying all 7 artworks developed through 7 different creative directions.

Six invited artists were brought into the Nouns community, introduced to the project, and took part in the process from concept to final artwork. The seventh board follows the WAGMI model, with its design selected through a DAO pool, featuring artworks that came out of the Nouns GG rounds, where artists submitted their work, were selected, and were compensated for their contributions, just like the six physical artists.
The boards are currently in Rio de Janeiro, while our team is based in Espírito Santo. I’m now wrapping up the final logistics to head down, pick them up, and start sending them to different destinations across Brazil, from the Northeast to the South, including Ubatuba, São Paulo before some of them eventually make their way to Indonesia and other parts of the world.
*The WAGMI model will remain available for a DAO-driven dynamic, potential sale, and further work around the product, as originally outlined in the proposal.*
You can take a closer look at the process in the videos below. The response from both the **art community and the alternative surf scene** has been really positive, and people have been especially stoked on the videos and the production process.
- [6’6” Asymmetrical outline with custom curves developed around his original board, built for adaptive surfer](https://www.instagram.com/p/DaGTbWoPGf7/)
- [Hash 6 // 5’10” × 19” × 2.4”, Asym quad for goofy-foot surfer @icarolasas , featuring Block artwork by @jotalirio ](https://www.instagram.com/p/DaoFUCgvxHT/)
- [This Kindness is a 5’0” asymmetrical board built for goofy-foot surfer @tunicolopez, featuring an Authentic tail designed for fast, powerful left-hand point breaks in Indonesia. The board carries a custom Nounish Totem artwork by talitapersi, integrating handcrafted graphics](https://www.instagram.com/p/Da3l-yxPdqH/)
- [Pigmented cutlap lamination on the Hash 3. 🍄 The Amanita Muscaria is a 5’3” × 18.2” × 2.1” asymmetrical parallelogram built for regular-foot surfer @jessbianca_, The board features the Transcendental Nounish Wizard artwork by @victorbueno.tattoo](https://www.instagram.com/p/Dbdc5sEv8tz/)

When it came to the **lamination**, one of the final stages of the process was carried out using the **cut-lap technique**. We decided to develop a specific color palette for each board, connecting the deck and bottom rails with the artwork created by each artist.

It’s been a great experience being involved in the entire process, from inviting and onboarding the artists, introducing them to the Nogglesboard Guidelines to Nouns, coordinating calls and physical meetups, all the way through the artwork development, lamination, and construction of the boards.

*[Special video created by the artist Ingllithy, documenting the artwork process, painting by hand.](https://www.instagram.com/p/DbEDS_RMhT4/)*
It is important to highlight that the project includes a total of seven surfboards, while the six designs mentioned above are based on digital artworks. To complete the set, the seventh board will feature an original, fully handcrafted design by the artisan artist Ingllithy Pio.
## Nogglesboard Art/Surf Event III
| Keep it | Nounish AF |
|--------|-----------|
| | Nogglesboard made its way to another nighttime event bringing together art, surf, sustainability, and audiovisual culture. We had the opportunity to showcase part of the project through a selection of jackets, Nounish objects, surfboards, and Noggles-shaped skate decks, bringing the physical side of the project into a creative environment.
Shoutout to bigshotkim glasses for being such an important part of this entire journey. The glasses have been there since the very beginning, from onboarding the 6 artists, the shaper, and the 6 surfers involved in the project, to becoming part of the special kits for everyone who picked up the jacket, t-shirt, and soap, receiving the glasses as well.

They added so much to the project, and they still do. One of my favorite examples was during the film screening, where we placed two builders wearing the glasses, standing still in the middle of the amphitheater as if they were simply watching the movie. It immediately caught everyone's attention.
Later, when the project was officially presented, people naturally connected the glasses and silhouette to the Nogglesboard identity and logo without needing any explanation. It's a small object, but it became a powerful visual symbol throughout the whole experience.

## Next Steps
As the final phase of the project, we still need to conduct a professional photoshoot of the finished boards and capture the final footage for the *WAGMI: Nogglesboard Movie* documentary, followed by the logistics of handling the boards. [Check out the special page on the website.](https://www.nogglesboard.wtf/waves/wagmi-teaser)

- [Check out the teaser released in partnership with the film production company and other partners of the nogglesboard project here.](https://www.instagram.com/p/DchTjqBvUBM/)
Beyond promoting this within the worlds of surfing, sports, technology, and innovation, via blogs and press releases, we also aim to make an impact in the film and independent production sectors. Building on the momentum of my initial project with Gnars/Nouns (as detailed in the latest "propdate"), we are developing a professional-grade film for submission to major festivals and for wider distribution.
- [Check out the short film *Disorder II*, now available on our website and platforms.](https://www.nogglesboard.wtf/waves/disorder-2)

To further promote the project, additional channels were established to share the teaser beyond Instagram, including a "[Droposal](https://www.gnars.com/pt-br/proposals/base/127)" on Gnars and a feature on Gnars TV (which has launched a partnership with Morpheus) as well as posts on our website's blog, integrated with our YouTube channel.

# Nogglesboard Propdate III
This is the third Propdate for the Noggleboards Nounish Surfboards Proposal (Prop 752).
Big thanks to everyone who’s supported it and helped shape its progress so far 🙏 **LFG.**
## Nounish Surfboards Update
The surfboards are now entering the finalization phase. Following a technical issue involving the supplier of the silk sheets used for the artists’ graphics, the decision was made to proceed with two alternative fabric laminates. With this resolved, the lamination process is set to begin.
A standardized labeling system has been developed for each board, introducing both artistic and technical value to the final product. Each label will include hand-written specifications by the shaper, along with additional Nounish graphics and relevant board information.

We have also implemented a more uniform application approach, consolidating the two fabric variations: one design featuring artwork from artists participating in the Nouns GG rounds (intended for sale or auction), and another full-deck design that covers the entire surface of the board.
The next phase focuses on capturing high-quality visual content to support the film/documentary. This project will document the trajectory of Noggleboards, and the surfboards themselves as the core product of the initiative.

It is important to highlight that the project includes a total of seven surfboards, while the six designs mentioned above are based on digital artworks. To complete the set, the seventh board will feature an original, fully handcrafted design by the artisan artist Ingllithy Pio.

*[Special video created by the artist Ingllithy, documenting the moment she receives the Nouns Noggleboard kit and announcing the upcoming artwork project.](https://www.instagram.com/p/DUYWkd0DhKu/)*
This piece will be created manually using brush techniques, with the process documented for the film. An initial prototype has already been developed to define the flow and movement of the brushstrokes, followed by the integration of Nounish logotypes and the standardized labeling system.
This approach introduces a distinctive contrast within the collection: while most boards are derived from digital artwork, this final piece emphasizes a tactile, hands-on artistic process bringing a raw, expressive quality to the project, with the artist physically engaging with the board and paint.
All surfboard designs were initially hand-drawn and later finalized using digital tools. The shaping process itself was also done by hand, led by the shaper and artist Maze. The Nouns boards will additionally be promoted through his official channels.

Each model was specifically designed to match the performance needs of the six individual surfers involved in the project. In addition, there is one open model featuring a more versatile and asymmetrical design intended for sale or auction.

- [A viral Instagram video from the DGK brand](https://www.instagram.com/p/DXFovezjy_v/) featuring Nogglesboard skate decks that were sent to the Uganda community. The remaining decks continue to circulate and gain traction through actions led by local skate groups and organizations across Africa.

Logistics for distribution are already in place. Coordination with six surfers has been completed, covering locations from Jakarta, Indonesia, to multiple regions across Brazil (north to south). In parallel, we are aligning with prospective buyers interested in acquiring Nounish boards, including contacts in Portugal and Australia.
## Nogglesboard Rarity Collection.

The Rarity Nogglesboard NFT collection is built from real world skateboard decks originally created and used within Gnars DAO activations. These physical decks were not just designed as collectibles, but actively ridden in skate sessions, events, and community initiatives, becoming the foundation for the onchain artworks.
| Rarity Collection GIf | Keep it Weird |
|--------|-----------|
| | Sometimes a drip, sometimes a wild ocean. The NFT collection was inspired by colorful elements of nature such as flowers, rainbows, and landscapes, and integrated into the sports ecosystem through the [materialization of physical skate decks as core traits](https://www.nogglesboard.wtf/waves/collab-skate-clip). It represents a fusion of Nounish aesthetics and gnarly street culture, where natural imagery and motion-based sports expression come together within a unified visual and cultural framework.

The concept emerged from transforming these functional skate decks some influenced by Nounish “noggles” visual traits into a curated NFT series that preserves their physical history and cultural usage. Each piece reflects a specific moment of interaction, whether from riders, events, or local skate communities.

## Nogglesboard Cinema & Exhibition
Nogglesboard was invited to participate in the II Brizz Ocean Festival

The [activation included](https://farcaster.xyz/nogglesboard/0x1712e053) showcasing boards and Nounish culture, hosting the premiere of a Gnars surf film, nounish showroom and distributing stickers and stamped prints, while adding a surf-party atmosphere to the event. It was great to once again see strong interest from the public in the “square glasses” aesthetic and to further cultivate this surf-focused scene, where surfboards also represent a viable product direction for upcoming chapters.

*One of the prints we produced for distribution at the event.*
The film [De Olinda 36](https://www.nogglesboard.wtf/waves/gnarly-surfboard) further reflects what Nogglesboard represents, and screening it in a full amphitheater setting created a meaningful moment, generating positive feedback and strong audience engagement.

## Next Steps

*frames by item filmes blackmagic footage*
The next phase focuses on completing the surfboards and initiating a structured rollout: capturing high-quality photo and video documentation, followed by a pre-release of the project and boards. This will lead into exhibition events and broader promotion, alongside distribution to selected surfers for testing and alignment with potential buyers. In parallel, one board will be positioned for auction, reinforcing the project’s value loop.

[Disorder #1 Skate-VideoArt-NYC](https://vimeo.com/247013834)
The final stage culminates in the release of the films Disorder 2 and Nogglesboard Surf Documentary, which will be submitted to festivals and premiered across curated venues, expanding the project’s reach and cultural impact.

# Quick correction on the Final Update ⌐◨-◨
Two small fixes to the numbers we posted:
- The plastic recycled to produce the frames was **~15kg**, not 15 tons. Our bad — the impact is real, the zero was not.
- The correct Instagram for our audiovisual team Berro Inc. is [@berro.inc](https://www.instagram.com/berro.inc/) — updated across all mentions.
Thanks for keeping us honest, Nouns. 🙏

# Final Update | Prop 685 – Good Noggles: Prescription Precious Noggles for Kids
### Recicla Visão — Project Complete ⌐◨-◨

**We did it.** Prop 685 is officially complete. Here's what we delivered:
### **Key Deliverables**
- **1,005 prescription glasses produced and donated**: we exceeded the original goal of 1,000 pairs. Each frame was made from recycled plastic, designed in three sizes for kids aged 8–14, with lenses by EssilorLuxottica and OBE spring hinges for durability.

- **3,000+ children impacted**: through eye screenings, exams, glasses distribution, and recycling workshops across Rio de Janeiro's most vulnerable communities.

- **22 institutions across 19 territories** reached: including favelas, quilombos, public schools, and NGOs in communities like Complexo do Alemão, Rocinha, Morro do 18, Duque de Caxias, and one territory in Saquarema. We started with 10 NGOs and nearly doubled that.

- **Mobile clinic van fully operational**: the Renault van was successfully refurbished into a traveling ophthalmology clinic and recycling station, reaching communities that have no access to eye care through traditional means.

- **~2,000 kids participated in recycling workshops**: run by [Casa Plástica](https://www.instagram.com/projetocasaplastica/), the workshops taught kids about plastic waste, circular economy, and how a pair of recycled glasses is born. That's double our original goal of 1,000 children.

- **~15 tons of plastic recycled** to produce the frames.

- **39 kids referred for specialized care**: beyond corrective lenses, we identified and referred cases of suspected glaucoma, keratoconus, retinal conditions, and other serious issues that would have gone undetected.

- **Press coverage delivered**: including a [**10 minute feature on RJTV**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5wpeWES8v8), a live news program of Globo, Brazil's largest broadcast network. Full press report available at the [Looker Studio press dashboard](https://lookerstudio.google.com/reporting/848cce5f-799f-488c-b834-035bf2809ab7/page/p_tst03j8ind).

- **12 reels + 30 photo albums** produced by [Berro Inc.](https://www.instagram.com/berroinc.cc/), documenting every visit, every pair of glasses, every child.

---
### **One Thing Still in the Oven 🎬**
The **Mini Documentary** is in final production and will be released by **end of April or May at the latest**. It tells the full story from the first sketches of the frame design to the last pair of glasses handed to a kid in a favela. This will be shared across all channels including Warpcast, YouTube, and Instagram.
---
### **What Happens Next**
The project doesn't stop here. The team is continuing independently running workshops and maintaining the equipment so production keeps going on its own steam. Recicla Visão is now a living, breathing operation.
On a personal note: [@marinioac](https://instagram.com/mari.salles_) is expecting a baby and will be stepping back to focus on motherhood for a while. But Precious Noggles and Recicla Visão production will keep running in parallel with Lil B (Lil Nick) -> because good things don't pause. 🍼⌐◨-◨

### **Thank You, Nouns DAO**

This prop was proof that Nouns can fund something that goes beyond the internet: a mobile clinic driving through favelas, handing recycled glasses to kids who've never had an eye exam in their lives. More than half of the children we saw needed vision correction. Many would have fallen further behind in school. Some had conditions heading toward irreversible vision loss that no one had caught.
Nouns made that visible. Literally.
**The mini-doc is coming. Stay tuned. ⌐◨-◨**

OnchainCreators™ took our experiment on the road.
Not to a conference hall.
Not to a single venue.
But into a city.
Across Buenos Aires, we hosted two connected activations, the Onchain Creator House and the Onchain Creator Rally. Both were designed to test something we deeply believe:
Culture is the most effective onboarding tool in crypto.
This wasn’t about hype.
It was about creators.
And it was about showing what happens when onchain tools meet real people, real places, and real creative momentum.
What We Built in Buenos Aires
Over the course of the week, creators moved through the city together, meeting, creating, publishing, and learning in public.
No panels.
No “listen quietly” energy.
Just participation.
The result:
100+ people engaged across events and moments throughout the week
25 creators actively onboarded into the challenge
8 original videos created and published
1 glowing article celebrating Nouns culture
$1,500 distributed directly to creators
124 POAPs minted
#214318 - Onchain Creator Rally - Nouns Fair | Collectors: 101
#214316 - Onchain Creator Rally - Graffiti Tour | Collectors: 2
#214314 - Onchain Creator Rally - Jardin Botanico | Collectors: 12
#214313 - Onchain Creator Rally - La Cabrera | Collectors: 11
Those numbers only tell part of the story. The real impact lives in the creators who stepped forward and shaped what onchain media looked like in Buenos Aires.
Nounish Creators Challenge:
At the heart of the Onchain Creator Rally in Buenos Aires were the creators who showed up, experimented in public, and helped bring onchain media to life.
The creator challenge wasn’t about chasing virality.
It was about participation, perspective, and presence.
These creators stood out not because they “won the internet,” but because they captured the spirit of the city and the culture of Nouns in ways that felt honest, creative, and distinctly their own.

Nounish Creators Challenge Spotlight:
Best Video Storytelling: Gnericvibes
Awarded to a creator who used video to document Buenos Aires through a Nouns lens. Blending place, people, and movement into a story that felt both local and onchain-native.
Best Written Piece: Geoff Richards
Awarded for a standout article that celebrated Nouns culture with clarity and heart, turning open media into something readers could feel, not just understand.
Best Cultural Interpretation: Ann Lopez
Awarded to a creator who embodied what the week was really about: remixing culture, collaborating in real life, and showing how an onchain media brand can live far beyond the internet.
Best Use of Onchain Media: Fattybuthappy
Awarded to a creator who most effectively used onchain media to publish, distribute, and contextualize their work, demonstrating how ownership, permanence, and participation can enhance storytelling, not get in its way
Our featured creators along with other winning creators received a share of the $1,500 reward pool. But let's be honest. The real win wasn’t the prizes. It was the proof that when creators are trusted with culture, they deliver.
Why This Mattered for Creators:
For many creators, especially those coming from Web2 or traditional media, the Onchain Creator Rally wasn’t just their first interaction with onchain publishing.
It was their first experience participating in an onchain media brand.
Rather than onboarding creators to tools or abstract concepts, the week introduced them to Nouns as a living, open media ecosystem. One that invites participation, remixing, and ownership through creation.
Creators weren’t asked to “learn crypto.”
They were invited to create inside a cultural system.
What that unlocked:
Low-pressure onboarding into onchain media, not software
A clear creative context to experiment within (Nouns as culture, not product)
Immediate rewards tied to contribution, not speculation
A sense of belonging inside an open, creator-driven media brand
For many participants, this was the first time they experienced onchain media as something they could actively shape, not just observe.
And that distinction matters.
Because once creators see themselves as contributors to a media brand, rather than users of a tool, the leap onchain feels natural.

The Creator Challenge: Participation Over Performance
At the center of the week was a lightweight creator challenge designed to introduce creators to participation through Nouns.
No long briefs.
No over-engineering.
Just prompts that encouraged creators to engage with an open media brand and make it their own.
Creators were encouraged to:
Capture moments from the city
Tell stories through the lens of Nouns
Experiment with publishing culture onchain
For many, this was their first time contributing to an onchain-native media ecosystem.
The Value Returned to Nouns:
Nouns wasn’t just a logo on a flyer.
It was a character in the story.
By partnering with Nouns across both Buenos Aires activations, we helped translate Nouns from an onchain concept into a participatory, creator-led media brand that people could interact with, remix, and build alongside.
What Nouns received:
Organic creator-led content
Direct association with creator rewards
Presence in a new geographic and cultural context
Most importantly, Nouns showed up where creators already were. In the city, with Ethereum-aligned communities, in the creative process.
That’s how Nouns can continue to grow into a culture layer, not just an NFT community.

Buenos Aires as the Canvas
Buenos Aires didn’t feel like a backdrop.
It felt like a collaborator.
The streets, parrillas, conversations, and chance encounters all became part of the output. The city shaped the content, and the creators shaped how onchain culture showed up inside it.
This is the model we’re betting on:
Cities instead of stages
Movement instead of schedules
Culture instead of instruction manuals
Buenos Aires proved something we’ve felt intuitively for a long time:
You don’t onboard creators by explaining crypto.
You onboard them by letting them create with it.
The Onchain Creator House and Rally weren’t endpoints.
They were proof points.
Proof that creators will show up.
Proof that rewards matter.
Proof that brands like Nouns can integrate without flattening culture.
And proof that onchain media doesn’t have to feel technical to be powerful.
More to come soon, including deeper breakdowns, creator stories, and what this unlocked for future cities.
For now, we’ll leave it here:
Culture works.
Creators lead.
And the best onboarding happens in the real world.
Payment received. Thank you to ENS team for the support as well as all the voters. https://etherscan.io/tx/0x97b1011ebe8253cc54876d79390b8927cfb72d0307b5c32009035f0fb656ff8f
The past months have truly been a blessing for me as an artist.
I’m deeply grateful to Nouns for welcoming me as a resident and supporting my work during this time. That support allowed me to refine my craft while building something meaningful for my local artistic community. ⌐◨-◨

During this period I've submited several new heads (none passed yet, sadly — but we keep building).
- Hyrax
- Park Bench
- Dire Wolf
- Cap
- Banana Split
- Emerald
- Toxic Waste
Co-created Castle Head too

I created 40+ original artworks, animations, and graphic pieces, and contributed visuals for:
Nouncil
NOC
Nounspace

Bingo Revival
Noun City (Tucumcari, NM)
Onchain Creators Rally (Buenos Aires)

ETH Boulder
ETH Denver

I also participated as a resident artist at the Nouns booth during Devconnect Argentina, where I finally met many people I had only known online.
That IRL connection meant a lot.

Beyond individual production, the residency evolved into cultural coordination in Cali 🇨🇴
We hosted 4 IRL events:
• A 2-day Nounish Graphic Fair
• A Drawing Jam
• An onboarding meetup
• A Yellow mural activation + animal food donation drive

It has been an incredibly productive season.
I’m thankful for the opportunity.
Proud of what we built.
And motivated to keep pushing this forward with more structure, reach, and care.
Let’s keep building. ⌐◨-◨
# Nogglesboard Propdate II
This is the second Propdate for the Noggleboards Nounish Surfboards Proposal (Prop 752).
Huge thanks to everyone who has supported and contributed to its development 🙏
## Social Media & Comms:
To better expand the project’s reach, Nogglesboard profiles were created across Web2 and Web3 platforms, sharing both project updates and additional content from the Nouns ecosystem with support from partners. Each profile speaks in a different voice to connect with specific audiences, with the goal of staying active and engaging across the intersections of surfing, art, skateboarding, and blockchain. We invite you to follow along and stay up to date with everything Nogglesboard is building.

## Nogglesboard (Sweet Amnesia Model 5'5)
Before producing the final Nounish surfboards, I (Zima) took a surf trip alongside the Airdrop Culture project while supporting Gnars marketing, with the goal of capturing surf and lifestyle footage for the film Nogglesboard: Surf Is Up. I used one of our early asymmetric board designs and invited Nogglesboard artist Victor Bueno to paint a classic red Noggles on it, creating a prototype to build narrative and visual content during the trip.

In Costa Rica, we filmed a session at Playa Hermosa that later became a Droposal and published video content on YouTube and Instagram, along with a hand-shaping session with Australian legend Tony Bear, which will appear in the final film. After returning, the board was brought to Devconnect Buenos Aires to further spread Noggles through a surf and art-driven context.

his allowed us to bring both the Nogglesboard Sweet Amnesia and the Gnarsurfboards to Argentina. The boards were hosted at our Hacker House, which became a shared space for events with Builder DAO and LATAM builders, serving both as decoration and as a living artifact of the project.

The main focus, however, was taking the boards to Devconnect Buenos Aires and placing them at the Nouns DAO stand during Nouns Fair, organized by the Nouns Amigos Mono crew and fellow artists, great work by the team, shout out to everyone involved. The board remained on display for four days and was intentionally left open for customization. We brought it with a white base, treating it as a blank canvas to invite artistic intervention and community participation.

## Riding on Devconnet

Our experience at Devconnect was truly special. It was incredible to finally meet many of you in person beautiful moments all around. We have to admit, the overall vibe in Buenos Aires felt a bit less welcoming at first, which made it even more meaningful to bring a strong Nounish presence to the ETH ecosystem once again, just like we did last year in Thailand.
We brought Nogglesboard skate decks that became essential to our crew’s energy for skating, of course, but also as cultural artifacts and this was captured across Gnars onchain videos and documentaries, generating real engagement both within the conference and throughout the city. We also donated Nogglesboard decks at the 7CTV Skate & Jazz event, supporting and energizing the local Argentine scene. Alongside that, we shared a range of Nogglesboard products like jackets, soaps, and surfboards used in event installations and lived moments. Seeing builders from protocols like Zora, Burner, and many others connect with these products simply because they came from Nouns or a Nouns-born project was deeply rewarding. For us, Devconnect wasn’t just an event, it was a genuine cultural exchange. Ah, We also brought two special Nounish puzzles featuring decorative artwork from Nouns Fair one gifted to the artist Bure, who created the piece, and the other shared as a giveaway.

## Nogglesboard Products

In addition to the 35 T-shirts shared in Propdate 1, featuring different Nogglesboard designs and the authentic colorful Nouns logo distributed to all 6 artists, 6 surfers, and extended Nounish / Gnarly / Surf / Blockchain contributors we still have 5 pieces left in stock.
If you’re interested, feel free to [DM us.](https://www.nogglesboard.wtf/)
As part of the Nogglesboard product line for sales, merch, and market experimentation, we chose to produce handcrafted jackets with a fully Nounish aesthetic. The jackets were sourced from an independent thrift run by a close friend of Will Dias, and custom-embroidered with different Nouns artworks, including the Nogglesboard logo by Mike Good, the original colorful Netreiro Nouns, and personalized embroideries honoring Nouns who supported the Nogglesboard project, such as Mike, Benjamin, Will Dias, Zima, Vlad, and others.
The response was immediate, these jackets drew attention everywhere we went. We produced 26 pieces and currently have 6 left in stock, ranging from kids sizes to M, L, and XL. If you’re interested, feel free to DM us. This was both a product test and an authentic market strategy for the Nouns × Nogglesboard collaboration.

## Artists / Surfboard Production / Desing:

All models were properly developed using specialized 3D surfboard design software and shared with the artists to support shaping and integration with the upcoming artworks. The boards and artworks were then finalized by the artists and coordinated alongside the pieces from the [Nouns GG Nogglesboard rounds](https://nouns.gg/c/nouns/rounds/nounish-surfboards). Throughout January and February, the Nounish Surfboards will be produced, with the process carefully documented through recorded moments for the documentary, as well as short-form media capturing the build journey.

After completion, the surfboards will be delivered to the respective surfers, and one board will be announced as an NFT. This particular piece will be developed fully on-chain, incorporating the artworks from the rounds. This model was previously selected by the community through another vote, and now you’ll have the opportunity to own this creation at home.

## Nogglesboard Skate Updates

Nogglesboard Skate has, throughout its trajectory, developed collaborations with projects such as [Lil Nouns](https://farcaster.xyz/willdias/0x059b516c), [Nounspace](https://farcaster.xyz/willdias/0xb94ff6db) [Darknouns](https://farcaster.xyz/willdias/0xb66e742a), [Gnars](https://farcaster.xyz/willdias/0x0191cf8e), [Rainbow](https://farcaster.xyz/willdias/0xf548f2e9), [Higher](https://farcaster.xyz/willdias/0x2b4f59c9) and [Nouns](https://farcaster.xyz/willdias/0xe40328d9), resulting in the production of videos and audiovisual records associated with these partnerships. These actions focused on skate documentation and integration with different cultural and digital initiatives.
As part of this process, Nogglesboard was present in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during [Devconnect](https://farcaster.xyz/devcon/0x15a053fc), participating in activities within the context of the event and expanding the project’s reach in an international environment, connecting skateboarding, content production, and technological communities.

*This is the second Propdate for the Nogglesboard Project. After 10 months of work, we now move forward with board production and future developments including collaborations with artists/brands (exemple Maze Surf Crafts, Airdrop Culture Gnars DAO etc), the creation of an NFT for the special board from the Rounds Ride the ArtWave, and the addition of new Waves on the Nogglesboard website. We’re also sharing updates on project progress, with the launch event for the boards with an exhibition and invitations to artists and surfers short-media deliveries, the Nogglesboard Doc, and Disorder 2 Skate-videoart.*

Coming Soon...
Disorder 2 follows Will after his disappearance, constructing a narrative shaped by absence, displacement, and transformation. He ceases to be someone easily located and becomes an almost invisible presence, guided more by the flow of the world than by defined destinations. The story does not rely on concrete facts, but on rumors, silences, and perceptions, creating a continuous sense of drift.

Upon arriving in a new city marked by the contrast between chaos and harmony "Bangkok" Will reconnects with the act of getting lost: observing, moving through spaces, absorbing everyday rituals, and perceiving the invisible layers of urban life. Skateboarding emerges as an extension of his body, a way to cross both physical and internal fractures, while the city shifts from being a mere backdrop to a reflection of his inner state.
Without offering definitive answers, the film proposes a reflection on identity, impermanence, and movement. Will does not seek belonging or return, but rather a state of constant fluidity, in which existing means remaining in transit, dissolving the boundaries between the individual, the city, and the world.

[Disorder #1 - Skate-VideoArt-NYC](https://vimeo.com/247013834)
------
*Once the boards are produced, the next stage will include filming, exhibitions, and events, followed by their proper delivery to the surfers for test rides. One of the boards will also be auctioned as an NFT, with proceeds reinvested into further Nounish initiatives and value creation.*
*We hope you’re enjoying our work and what we’re building with the DAO, for the DAO. Our goal is to professionalize our profiles and platforms once the boards are completed, adding the level of value a NounsDAO project deserves, and fostering dialogue with different artists, athletes, and builders.*

- **Preparing a Nounish IRL / URL hackathon**, via nouns.gg if they’re keen (details in next update)
- **Readying limited product releases**, and continuing to support / advise on Nounish proposals where helpful
- **Jokerace rounds**: saw very low organic engagement and opportunistic arbitrage behavior from anonymous wallets. Without committing additional personal funds to outbid last-minute vote sniping, rounds were consistently won by same account(s) e.g. 0xd3811Eb19A779eCB57d57f2E43D419b71Ca8622e who imo is purely there to game these voting mechanics, not be Nounish...
Example (final Christmas round):
https://jokerace.io/contest/base/0x4167e202412cf8d7457c730192ae8c55df3ce340/submission/15027809548777166071236261736502326863049084226890925015706243551972158683041
Each round was ~$100 (≈10 rounds total), making this a low-cost experiment overall, with most funds ultimately captured back and paid to contributing artists.
Given results, a pivot toward **focused, time-bound hackathon-style rounds** instead of ongoing weekly rounds seems the wiser path.
*For transparency, all flows are on-chain and open to inspection.*

## Notes on the EOY Award Show
From my perspective, the experiment was successful:
- **1 proposal distributed 7 Nouns**, instead of ~7 proposals
(client incentives compound; paying ~$1k in fees to distribute a ~$1.5k Noun becomes inefficient at scale)
- Rewarded **high-volume, consistently weird cultural output**
(e.g. ~3,500 Nounish meals by the legendary taroron)
- Recipients appear aligned as **long-term holders** (time will tell)
- Distribution was unexpected, and recipients hopefully felt seen and valued
- Closed the year on a high note and kicked off 2026 strongly for those who wanted to keep the party going (JP’s “boy award show”)
- Demonstrated at least one ongoing **use case for nouns.gg**
- Extended **real agency to Nouncil** beyond pure delegation mechanics

# Berry OS January Update
December was a bit of a brutal month.
while working on building the custom Berry Android locally, I hit a bug in Google's Antigravity IDE that deleted most of the work done in November and December. fortunately, the Berry Android build still exists in a Google Cloud instance
took this setback as an opportunity to create a leap forward on the web app.
https://berryos.wtf now uses a rearchitected codebase with an event bus system that is faster, smoother, better. the themes are nicer, users can set any image link as the background wallpaper.
Berry now detects the user's local language settings and translates all parts of the app and proposals across 7 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and Korean. if more languages are desired, please contact me on discord @imwylin (strawbit,) @wylin on farcaster, or @ihwylie on X
the Camp app is fully comprehensive of all the features available at nouns.camp, except for candidate sponsorship. it's a difficult transaction, I'll get it working asap. many thanks to lasg and memevalue for testing the candidate promotion feature
many thanks to JP for reaching out for a collaboration; Nounspot is now a Berry OS app.

Hello Nouners,
As you all know I’ve been working on Nouns.world for the last year- dripping articles and sharing updates on Farcaster and X.
I’ve made multiple versions of the landing page trying to make the best possible funnel to introduce people to Nouns. I think the new version of the homepage does that and have gotten great feedback from everyone on this version. I plan on releasing some other versions of the LP to give people options on where to send traffic in the future.
Check out http://nouns.world
I’ve written 32 articles which include details on 72 individually funded proposals:

I do have more articles in progress and will continue to release them over time.
Nouns folk are now invited to register for nouns.world Wordpress to write articles: https://explore.nouns.world/wp-login.php?action=register. For now I'll have to approve articles before they can be published and added to the site. Over time I’ll try to make this more user friendly for new contributors.
I’ve also taken community feedback and iterated on the resource page. Instead of individual pages for each category, I’ve created a single, filterable page for all the different types of resources (art, code, frontends, community writings, etc..) on www.resources.nouns.world. If there are missing resources, please reach out to have them added or submit a request in github to this CSV (formatted like the others): https://github.com/MIKEGOOD-ETH/nouns-world-directory/edit/main/public/resources.csv and dropping the resource image into the 'logos' folder.
Thanks so much to those of you that have used nouns.world- shared links, add it to road signs or QR codes, incorporated the logos into your work, etc.. Appreciate you all~
Marking the proposal as complete, but as planned will be working on .world into the future. If anyone has any comments, concerns or suggestions, please reach out.
Your boi, mike good <3
Happy New Year, Nouners!
Let’s start 2026 at a perfect pace. We’ve officially begun draft number six of Isabel, and over the past eight months we’ve been rewriting every part of the musical that didn’t fully serve the story or its lore. We’re happy to say that we’ve finally cracked every lingering question surrounding the history and storyline of Isabel. So much has changed—but all for the better—and we’re incredibly excited for you to read the new and improved version of this mixed-media musical. We’ve made it a bit more detailed so you can get a full picture of what you’ll eventually see on stage.
Alongside the intense work of shaping the story, we’ve also added one new song to the mix, titled “Never Let You Go.” It’s an intimate moment between Isaac and Isabel, centered on how they relate to one another despite their differences—and how, through it all, their feelings for each other continue to grow.
On the social media front, as we prepare to launch Isabel’s official accounts in four months, we’ve already begun laying the groundwork. Because this show has some mixed-media elements to the production, Max Pretends started an Instagram account exploring the animated films that inspired this project. The account, @maxpretendss, launched two months ago, reached over 2.3 million people in the past month, and is on track to hit 10k followers by January. We’ll be using this momentum to share more about the musical and its creative process.
It’s all incredibly exciting, and it truly feels like everything is falling into place. Thank you for your trust and patience—this project is still a long way from finished, but every day we grow more confident that Isabel will be a show to remember.

We are excited to share what happened and the results from bringing Nouns to Devconnect, Argentina 2025. Let's recap!
## Before the event
On Saturday the 15th, we gathered with the resident artists at the local art studio of one of them. [Yoli Taller ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/yolitaller/). A few were already into Nouns and Ethereum, while most were new to the ecosystem, though some had explored Tezos in 2021. It helped everyone to know each other, set the context (Nouns and Ethereum), and be on sync during the following week at Devconnect.

## Day 0
The Nouns Fair setup happened on Sunday, 16th. We brought everything that day: the riso printer, scanners, laser printer, heat press, tables, chairs, ping pong, *sapo* game, puffs, merch, art supplies, signaling, and the Nouns museum (small exhibition of nounish objects).

Later that day, a [Jazz and Skate event ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/zimardrp/0xfe4f5ae3) commanded by the Gnars crew warmed up the engines for what would be a whole week of nounish activities. And yes, they had the noggle rail, and even a fashion parade courtesy of Gneric Vibes.

## Day 1
On the first day (Monday 17th), doors opened at 8:30 am. We started welcoming attendees and kicked off the Nouns art residency, live riso printing (powered by [Estudio Mafia ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/estudiomafia/)), live merch printing (powered by [Lando Studio ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/lando.studio/)), live animation, the Nouns museum, coworking area, and the chill and play corners. Soon after, the space was full of people. People came in waves but there was never a moment when the space wasn’t buzzing with activity. It was the same for the following days.

As for the art residency, we invited a mixed group of illustrators and animators. We created separate spaces and setups for the drawing lab and animation lab. Two illustrators worked on their artworks to be printed and minted each day, while the rest worked on other art-related activities and learned about Nouns and Ethereum. Animators had a different schedule because they had a stop-motion setup and facilitated a series of workshops with the general public.
The mix of local artists and well-known Noun artists was a perfect match that helped spark conversations about art, Nouns, and crypto in general.
Our final list of artists looked like this:
- ~~Kidd~~ (cancelled his participation due to health issues)
- [PAM! PAM! ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/pamiloceirone/)
- [Flor Gavilan ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/flordenciagavilan/)
- [Nadie ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/nadiecito.eth)
- [GabiCoco ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/gabicoco_/)
- [Juan Pez ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/holajuanpez/)
- [Jess Bianchi ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/jessbianxi/)
- [Fattybuthappy ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/fattybuthappy)
- [Marce Do ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/_marcedom/)
- [Bure ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/bure)
- [Trini Perinetti ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/trestristestrinas/)
- [Pauher ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/pauher) (animator)
- [Ann/Yuyarikuna Films ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/yuyarikunafilms) (animator)
On this day, we printed and minted the main poster:
- [Nouns x Ethereum World's Fair by Bure↗︎](https://highlight.xyz/mint/base:0x25216f442724faA19a6563Ac0cCD0A383CA2A9D0:1) (available for minting!)
Attendees had to mint this NFT to get a customized Nouns t-shirt and mint our POAP to get a free print. We repeated this every day, asking people to mint the NFT of the day to get the print of the day, for free. This way, we incentivized people to use Ethereum. For people familiar with crypto, this was an easy task; for new users, it was challenging.

This day the first two artworks of the residency were created. They were minted and printed the day after:
- [NOUNS x PAM! PAM! - AMIGO123 ↗︎](https://highlight.xyz/mint/base:0x25216f442724faA19a6563Ac0cCD0A383CA2A9D0:3) (left) (available for minting!)

Our two animators in residence facilitated a workshop where they animated people coming to the booth.

And of course, our friends at Gnars and Nouns Builder were present, hacking with their good vibes 🛹🤘 as well as Gneric Vibes showcasing her fashion collection ✨⚡️.

Here's a brief video recap of day 1:

## Day 2
On Tuesday, 18th, we were glad to host Humpty and his 'Onchain Creator Rally' ([prop 868 ↗︎](https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/868)). He kick-started the day with a two-hour session at the booth, making content, recording interviews, and engaging with the artists in residence, and the Nouns Fair and Estudio Mafia crews. You can learn more about it [here ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/humpty.eth/0xd8c2ff1f), [here ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/humpty.eth/0x6b8f97a4), and a retrospective from [Humpty himself ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/humpty.eth/0x37cf1137) (appreciate the kind words!).
We also had Gramajo doing his 'Lil Scavenger Hunt' ([Lil Nouns prop 341 ↗︎](https://lilnouns.camp/proposals/341)), including the Nouns booth as one of the locations, bringing more fun and people to the space to connect and play Nouns. You can learn more [here ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/gramajo.eth/0x47a63103) and [here ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/gramajo.eth/0xc7cf2b18).

On the other hand, Benjamin Latsko hosted the App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨ ([prop 870 ↗︎](https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/870)) with top speakers from the Ethereum Foundation, ENS, Aave, Farcaster, Octant, and [more ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/chaskin.eth/0x99e64765). Even though it happened in a different part of the venue, we collaborated closely to amplify both efforts and set up a live painting area for three artists.

As for the art residency, Pauher and Ann/Yuyarikuna Films animated live while Nadie and GabiCoco worked on their illustrations:

## Day 4
On Thursday, the 20th, we were already exhausted, yet we continued with the activities! Animation and zine workshops for the general public, live riso printing, live merch printing, and Marce Do and Fattybuthappy worked on their illustrations.
- [Nouns x Fattybuthappy ↗︎](https://highlight.xyz/mint/base:0x25216f442724faA19a6563Ac0cCD0A383CA2A9D0:11) (left) (available for minting!)

We also hosted Luisa Fosco, presenting Precious Noggles, and the noggle rail made it to the venue!

And finally, Lex and I talked about Nouns, funded projects, and communities in the local stage of the Green Pavilion. Jason Chaskin introduced us and did a brief Q&A.

## Day 5
On Friday, the 21st, we did something different. We turned the space into an art market where artists sold their publications, comics, and prints. We joined them, too, in our first-ever experiment to sell nounish goods. Even Gramajo joined selling [Nouns Burners ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/gramajo.eth/0xe8c4ce35). The Nouns booth was also the set for the most listened-to crypto podcast in Latam by [Espacio Cripto ↗︎](https://x.com/NounsFair/status/1994467673908924473?s=20), and we had our second fanzine workshop.

More pics of the art market:

And, last but not least, here's a sample of the key visuals and branding of the Nouns Fair, made by Bure:

## Day 6
On Saturday, 22nd -the last day- riso printing was in full swing! The last two artworks created the day before, and a 2026 Nouns calendar, were printed and distributed. We had a brief closing session with the artists in residence and enjoyed the last hours of the Nouns Fair, sharing moments and processing all we had lived through the week.
After six intense days of work and emotions, we realized this was more than we could have imagined. The space served as a base home for Nouns folks. Nouns, Nouns Amigos, Nouns Brazil, Gnars, Nouns Builder, Lil Nouns, nouners, builders, fans, and everyone who identifies with Nouns were there. It's impressive how many people come and say "I love Nouns!" over and over, and how delighted they are to see we are thriving and showing the positive parts of crypto.
Lots of seeds were planted, and we are excited to see them bloom in the coming weeks and months (already two new members who were there have joined the DAO) -- long live Nouns as the cultural layer of Ethereum!

## Key numbers from The Nouns Fair

⌐◨-◨
Sold about 30 of this since launch. Devconnect was good for sales. Working on getting a Dune Dashboard built so folks can track the sales. Money will be send via L2 probably Base. Technically one order the DAO already got money as we tried slice.so but the % was accurate but didn't account for hard costs like shipping so I ate that cost.
I also want to see if we can set some at Nouns Coffee in LA in case anyone wants to buy one. But still need to follow this ideas. Overall, looking good. Plan on making content with it to spread awareness of their existence.
## Berry OS December Update
we have a working custom build of Android!
after 250,000+ lines of edits by Claude and a lot of struggle to get Berry successfully booting as a custom Android OS, the release of Gemini 3 by Google turbocharged development.
the Berry Android OS is a bare minimum kernel of Android with no Google services or default Android apps enabled. currently, we're using the "Redfin" release of Android which is for Pixel 5 devices. in theory, we should be able to support any Android release/ device.
the typescript of Berry OS, which is the actual user interface, is bundled into the Android kernel as an APK which has device owner/ admin permissions. Upon boot, the Berry OS APK immediately launches in locked kiosk mode, so it cannot be exited out.
now that the Android kernel is booting successfully, development work is focused on the typescript APK, first capturing all of the expected functions of the device, (display settings, wifi/ celluar connection, etc.)
it is also possible for users to create a new wallet on the device. we use viem, which is a Typescript interface for Ethereum used by most every dApp in existence, to generate private keys, display it for the user to write down, and the Android's Keystore Secure Enclave to encrypt and store the key after confirming it was written down. tbd how the Fusaka upgrade to Ethereum enabling the creation fo wallets via passkeys will effect this

we do a lil noc - december/EOY update (listing in roughly order of time)
- Funded 15+ creators $5000+ to create around noc (ongoing, monthly)
- 8/8 Anniversary Art Death match (Resident Artist was crowned anonymous winner) ~$1200 to participants
- Funded 4 months of noc Jokerace rounds distributing $3000+ to voters (half from noc treasury, half from additional votes) attempting to surface Nounish things and draw in eyeballs (slow burner)
- Funded a collaborative art piece between several artists (not released yet) ~$1000
- Running 24 days of trivia to win Noun 1207 (again) - Live now, go play! https://farcaster.xyz/pip/0xa383774a
- Began manufacturing clothes/accessories (small distribution in Japan etc, none sold-yet)
- Began sand casting Nounish keepsakes, purchased small amounts of silver and gold for casting (initially testing with white copper), I am re-teaching myself (not done since university) - harder than it looks
- Started to bridge governance to other DAOs in the Nounish eco, delegating tokens to individuals wanting to propose solid Nounish ideas
- Began working on a couple of physical prototypes that hopefully can reveal more details about soon, in the process of onboarding some epic product designers to Nouns
- Currently in Japan for the Nounsvitational (thanks to Lil Nouns!!) to spread the good word of noc, nouns and lil nouns - and am currently recording/editing footage, will meet with Tagawa-san this week before the tournament.
Staying true to "meme value", in early October I swapped the remaining eth for mog, which hasn't exactly gone to plan (to say the least). Also purchased two Nouns which have seen similar price decline to the mog (down ~60%), as one Noun will be given away in this trivia round, noc will probably purchase another Noun or two (as the price has halved since initial purchases). On the bright side, at least we didn't hodl nogs as checking Uniswap it appears the remaining LP has been pretty much drained by the team so the 3.6b nogs could today be swapped for only 1.67e, but perhaps (hopefully) the NNS team are planning to replenish the LP?
The noc treasury will remain in quality memes and, as of now, there is still runway for the foreseeable, so will continue to fund the creators that show genuine interest in Nouns (vs some funded individuals who happily accepted money from noc and essentially did the bare minimum and/or ghosted). noc will also help people propose either at the main DAO or one of the many sub DAOs in the ecosystem (beyond the 4 votes at Nouns DAO, nocguild represents ~35 votes at Yellow Collective, ~75 votes at Lil Nouns, and a handful of votes at other DAOs inc Panama DAO and mfer builder DAO, now also looking into Headline DAO to build a token position there). You can also support noc network by collecting art/creator coins from all of the noc creators (links below) and/or buying/providing LP for $noc memecoin, majority of the holders are the creators at noc: https://app.uniswap.org/positions/v4/base/18532 (this was originally distributed via Rounds - now sunset).
I am (slowly) nearing completion of a Lil physical location on wheels in Costa Rica where I will further amplify Noun o clock, Lil Nouns and Nouns into the real-world, sell merchandise and continue to create and fund art and design. There also still exists this candidate that you can point anyone to if they are interested in getting involved: https://www.nouns.camp/candidates/a-petition-for-noun-35-ae4705dc0816ee6d8a13f1c72780ec5021915fed

## Feria Nounish 2025 – Cali, Colombia 🇨🇴
### 1. Open Call & Community Building
The open call launched on **August 16** through [ferianounish.xyz](https://ferianounish.xyz) and the official social media channels ([Instagram](https://instagram.com/ferianounish), [Farcaster](https://farcaster.xyz/ferianounish), [X](https://x.com/Ferianounish)). Participants could apply as entrepreneurs, workshop hosts, or speakers, and were invited to propose Nounish-themed sticker designs, products, or activities inspired by Nouns and Noggles.
The call closed on **September 15** with **90 applications**. From this pool, **40 creative entrepreneurs** were selected: 23 with sticker proposals, 13 with product-based projects including art toys, candles, tattoos, prints, and merch, four with workshops, and one with a talk by [Platohedro](https://farcaster.xyz/platohedro). Food and beverage vendors included Choripanes, Fritanga Valluna, Café Gourmet, Cervezas Torremolinos, and Granizados BLVCK.
Participation in the fair was free. Selected applicants automatically received a booth for both days of the event. The curation balanced returning participants from earlier activations with new local artists discovered through the open call.
---
### 2. IRL Activations
The first activation was **Drink & Draw Nounish**, held at Cervezas Calima. Around twenty people joined this open drawing session focused on Nounish characters. Some of these participants later joined the fair as exhibitors.
The second activation was the **Artist Meetup**, which took place on **October 19** at Albahaca Terraza. It served as a coordination and onboarding session for the selected artists. During this meeting, the team shared logistical details, Base onboarding codes, and presented the progress of the **miniapp project** — a marketplace built collaboratively by [Gabriel Lago](https://farcaster.xyz/gabriellagomusic), Nadiecito, and Sweetman in vibecoding sessions.
The miniapp is a **whitelisted marketplace** for participating artists, where their exclusive pieces from the fair can be collected onchain. The long-term goal is to evolve it into a **Nounish marketplace** where artists can host and manage their own independent galleries.
The prototype can be visited at [ferianounish2025.vercel.app](https://ferianounish2025.vercel.app/).
Around **25 Base App codes** were distributed during this meetup, allowing artists to open their wallets and test the onboarding flow before the fair.

### 3. Space Design & Setup
The fair took place at **Casa de Mono**, which was completely transformed for the occasion.
The illustrated characters and decorative pieces were designed by **[Bicho Raro](https://farcaster.xyz/bichorarodraws)**, while **[Camilita](https://farcaster.xyz/camilita)** coordinated the visual production, prepared all final files for printing and social media, and supervised the fabrication of each prop and signage.
The space included three printed banners on the façade, a photo wall by Bicho Raro, a set of **inflatable Noggles**, and another set of **wooden Noggles** used for public intervention and collaborative painting.
Each selected artist received a **care package** prepared by the team, which contained:
- Their printed stickers (for those participating in the sticker category)
- The *Mi Primera DAO* fanzine designed by Camilita
- Paper noggles by **BIGSHOTTOYS**
- A notebook
- A keychain as a gift from the fair
The **Nouns booth** featured official merch and accessories from BIGSHOTTOYS, including the red and gold plastic Noggles and other limited pieces designed for the event.
The **technical layout** included:
- One 58” television
- One projector for screenings
- One inflatable screen five meters wide
- Stage with LED screen and sound system
- Lighting setup for performances and talks
A full photographic record of the fair is available [here](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1J-4Mj36f8X9Aaz2st1e_QtUY_9b10l4p?usp=sharing).

### 4. Program
The event followed a two-part structure each day: **pedagogical workshops from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.**, and the **graphic fair open to the public from 2:00 p.m. onward**.
**Day 1 – October 31.** Dedicated to setup, receiving artists’ materials, and technical tests.
**Day 2 – November 1.** Morning workshops were led by **ABECE**, who hosted a cyanotype printing session, and **Yoltika**, who conducted a workshop on engraving over adhesive paper. In the afternoon, the fair opened to the public with food vendors, local products, and a vinyl set by Los Ausentes del Ritmo. The evening closed with a screening of *Nounbreakers* and a live performance by [Marsue](https://farcaster.xyz/marsue).
**Day 3 – November 2.** The morning began with workshops by [Don Fingo](https://www.instagram.com/donfingo.caricaturista) (linocut) and [Guácala Studio](https://www.instagram.com/guacala_studio/) (character design). The afternoon featured a talk on speculative futures by [Platohedro](https://farcaster.xyz/platohedro) and a live VR sculpture session by [Braviera](https://instagram.com/braviera). Later, screenings included *Nouns Fest* and *Nouns Animator Jam*, along with the pilot for *Nouns Experimental Music Sessions*. The fair closed with the collective piñata by Camilita and a concert by [Branbel](https://www.instagram.com/branbel.music/) presenting *El Tiempo es Oro*.
**Day 4 – November 3.** Focused on dismantling, cleaning, and a final debrief with the production team.
---
### 5. Team & Roles
The general coordination and curation were led by **Nadiecito**, who authored the proposal and managed the project’s execution.
**[Camilita](https://farcaster.xyz/camilita)** served as art director, coordinated the design team, prepared all final materials for print and digital channels, designed the *Mi Primera DAO* fanzine, and supervised the fabrication of physical pieces, props, and signage.
**[Bicho Raro](https://farcaster.xyz/bichorarodraws)** designed all characters and visual assets used across the space and digital materials, including the backgrounds for the miniapp.
**[Diego Guevara](https://www.instagram.com/stencildiego)** managed logistics, production, and post-production coordination.
**[Gabriel Lago](https://farcaster.xyz/gabriellagomusic)** was responsible for onboarding and offramping support, as well as the technical development of the miniapp. Together with Nadiecito and Sweetman, he built the prototype marketplace for the whitelisted artists participating in the fair.
The broader production team handled setup, operations, and teardown, supported by two staff members responsible for cleaning and maintenance throughout the four days.
---
### 6. Online Reach
Between October 9 and November 7, the fair’s online presence reached a total of **166,200 views**, with **3,500 interactions**, **254 new followers**, and **104 shared posts**. The main promotional poster surpassed **30,000 views**, and posts announcing selected artists, workshops, and performances reached between **5,000 and 11,000 views**. The account maintained steady organic growth before, during, and after the event.
---
### 7. Closing Notes
The **Nounish Fair 2025** consolidated a strong cultural link between Cali’s creative communities and the global Nouns ecosystem. It strengthened networks among local Web3 creators while introducing new participants to decentralized tools and collaborative cultural production.
During the two days of the fair (**November 1–2**), more than **100 wallets were opened** through Base App, and total crypto transactions and purchases exceeded **500 USD** across the different stands and artists.
Beyond the event itself, the fair left in place a connected community, a functional onboarding experience, and a working marketplace miniapp that continues to evolve.
Stay tuned to [Instagram](https://instagram.com/ferianounish) for documentation and updates about the fair, the miniapp, and future editions.
This project was supported by **Nouns DAO** through [Proposal #840](https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/840).

I’ve proposed Hyrax Head and Park Bench Head, created 20+ art pieces shared through socials and Zora, and designed both poster artworks for TMFA events in Tucumcari, New Mexico. I’ve made my work available to support other Nouns-funded projects. I also began production of a Nounish mural in Cali, Colombia, as part of the collaborative projects with local artists within my residency. Next, I’ll be participating as a Nouns ambassador at Devconnect, helping activate the Nouns booth and continue connecting global and local creative communities.
On October 19 we hosted an IRL activation at Albahaca in Cali called “No es un culto pero parece”, as part of the ongoing IRL activations and the open call for Feria Nounish. The goal was to gather the invited artists to onboard them to Base using codes provided by Sweetman. We shared pizzas, opened wallets through the Base app, and presented our miniapp — continuing the residency’s effort to connect local creatives with the Nounish ecosystem.
Burners are in hand and ready for shipping. Unexpected shipping was about $300 (I just ate the cost). You can find an onchain version (cheaper) and a credit card version (a smidge more) and a custom order form if needed https://bento.me/nounsdao time to run it.
GM, here’s our newest flash update.
We’ve been working on several fronts — space design, main image, artist curation/invitations, the round on nouns.gg, a few X Spaces, community schedule, and legal/logistics.
- **Main image:** We’re collaborating with Bure on the key visual for the event — it’ll represent the Nouns space both digitally and physically (see the images in the next section).
- **Space design:** We’ve been shaping the layout and activities for the week. So far, expect live art-making, animation, risograph and merch printing, a showcase for nounish projects, several hands-on workshops (zines, animation, stamps, and more), a Nouns museum, work tables, and a game corner.
Here’s a glimpse of how we envision it

- **Curating artists:** We have a curated selection of 9 illustrators and 2 animators that will be part of the Nouns art residency (soon to be announced).
- **Open call:** We also started a round in nouns.gg to select an additional artist by nouners collectively. The round is still open for submissions, and you will be able to vote for your favorite artist soon, here:
- Announcement: https://x.com/nounsdao/status/1978238439523860709
- Round: https://nouns.gg/c/nouns-gg/rounds/nouns-devconnect
- **Spaces:** We co-hosted a couple of X spaces from the main Nouns X account, in English and Spanish. Both are available for replay here:
- Space in English: https://x.com/nounsdao/status/1975297499171795372
- Space in Spanish: https://x.com/nounsdao/status/1976039879831322703
- **Community schedule:** We've been in contact with a few people to coordinate their showcase at the event. We are now rolling out this form for any Nouns community member who wants to showcase a project of their own. Please apply if you want to take part:
- **Legal and logistics:** A few legal topics such as signing a supporter's agreement to become a part of the event, and logistics related to vendors, and insurance for the main crew and vendors accessing the venue.
We've also been in contact with Benjamin Latsko, Humpty, and Willywonka, who have plans for the Devconnect week.
Please get in contact or drop a comment here if you have any questions.
Thank you all!

# Nogglesboard Propdate I
This is the first Propdate (1/3) for the Noggleboards Nounish Surfboards Proposal (Prop 752).

An interesting milestone in this journey was when Mike Good created a nounish artwork shared even before our first proposal or official socials, featuring noggles combined with calligraphy. With his permission, this piece was released open-source, supporting artistic integration within the DAO and fostering collaboration. In the same spirit, many other builders have contributed from the very beginning, strengthening the foundation and direction of the project.
We see Nogglesboard as a lasting and genuine project that deserves to live beyond just a website with dedicated social channels, claiming its rightful space both online and onchain, follow us to more updates e nounish vibes ⌐◨-◨
## Fully Onchain Surfboard Model:

As outlined in the Proposal, one of the seven Nounish Surfboards will be created “fully onchain.” What does that mean? It means the board’s design process is guided and executed by the DAO itself: the model of the surfboard was chosen collectively (already completed), and the artwork will be stamped onto it through a collaborative rounds process where digital artists submitted designs, with ten being selected to bring color and life to the board, with a prize pool of 1 ETH (already distributed).
Following an update video about the community poll to decide the model, the surfboard selected was the Quad Parallelogram Goofy – 5'0" x 21" x 2 3/4".
An asymmetrical goofy (right foot forward), quad-fin, wide-outlined, mini-simmons-inspired design: chubby, fast, and stable, perfect for fat waves. This model was chosen through a Farcaster poll and later served as the canvas for the artists in the Rounds.

Once completed, this surfboard will be auctioned as an NFT, presented either as a 3D render or a rotational video of the board. The highest bidder will not only receive the digital file but also the physical surfboard, delivered alongside a special Nogglesboard Kit.
This tokenization experiment ensures that 50% of the auction proceeds return directly to Nouns DAO, reinforcing a cycle of creative economy and setting the foundation for future monetization potential with Nounish Surfboards. It’s an exciting step toward a sustainable and promising future for the project.

## Rounds at NounsGG

Presented on NounsGG as the [Ride de Artwave: Nogglesboard Contest](https://nouns.gg/c/nouns/rounds/nounish-surfboards), this round celebrated onchain surf/nounish art and the Nogglesboard itself. We received 61 submissions from artists across the Nouns, Gnars, and partner communities, including contributions from Gnarlys and other ecosystems such as the Yellow Collective.
Special shoutout to our friends at NounsAmigos, with Nadia and Createress leading the Nouns Amigos Art School, as well as artists like Brauxelion, Pandu, Messout, among many others who not only submitted work but also amplified the contest across their networks through videos, posts, and cross-platform engagement.
The round was powered by voting from Nouns, Lil Nouns, and Gnars holders, with winning artists receiving onchain rewards directly to their wallets. Big thanks to Sam Peter and the NounsGG team for supporting this part of the proposal, which will culminate in the creation of a unique surfboard (Nogglesboard). Once shaped, it will be both auctioned as an NFT and released as a physical collectible.

## Surfboard Production:

As part of the surfboard production process and raw material acquisition, we placed an order for seven special KAEHANA high-quality epoxy blanks, which will serve as the structural core of the Nounish Surfboards. These blanks are known for their durability, lightweight performance, and precision shaping consistency, making them ideal for translating both artistic and functional design into a professional-grade surfboard.
We are now eagerly awaiting the moment they take shape, incorporating the artwork of six invited artists as well as the winning designs from the Nogglesboard Rounds contest.
To this end, the artists' drawings are already being finalized after receiving their design board model, the nogglesboard guideline presenting Nouns and the project and specifications of the board and artistic direction, for application and simulation of the art. In the next project date and in our posts and casts, this part of the proposal will be covered in more detail.

## Public Goods / KSI:

Our friends at KSI have already begun implementing the Public Goods initiative funded through the proposal. After receiving X, they are actively spreading Nounish culture while fostering sports development in a remote region that truly benefits from this support.
As part of the initiative, the following equipment and materials have already been delivered and are in use:
✅ JigSaw Machine
✅ 20 Skateboard Decks
✅ 20 Sets of Skateboard Trucks
✅ 42 Skateboard Grip-tapes
✅ 20 Sets of Skateboard Wheels
✅ 20 Sets of Bolts and Nuts

Special recognition goes to Epharim, Isaac, and the rest of the team for producing dedicated video content that not only documents the progress but also amplifies the visibility of this action across wider networks and bringing the nounish spirit. This collaboration highlights how onchain resources can generate real-world social impact, bridging creative culture with community empowerment.
## Website Development:

As part of the website execution, the project is now live at nogglesboard.wtf, preserving the cultural alignment with the mainnet nouns.wtf domain. The site follows a clean, nounish aesthetic and highlights the key initiatives Nogglesboard has already delivered, giving greater structure and visibility to the project. The website is also integrated with NounSPACE, developed by our friend Willywonka, allowing users to experience a taste of Web3 interaction, such as engaging with the Nouns NounSPACE profile, the Nogglesboard account, and the Farcaster feed (where we actively post across nounish channels).

In addition, the platform will serve as a hub for all collaborations with artists and surfboard creations, organizing them into special “waves” that capture each phase of the proposal’s execution. This approach positions both Nouns and Nogglesboard with credibility and visibility across the surf, art, fashion, and skate universes. Looking forward, the idea is to continuously add new waves as Nogglesboard, Gnars, and Nouns projects evolve spanning sports, art, poetry, and more ensuring the site remains dynamic and consistently improved over time.

## Artist Kit & Onboarding:

We carried out direct interactions with the invited artists, Victor Bueno, Jota Lirio, Fred Carvalho ARS, Inglitty, Talita Persi, and Olavo Caramujo Balinese, who have now begun the design and artwork phase for the Nounish Surfboards. After receiving a guideline (weird but fun) and participating in several calls, the process included activities such as wallet creation and, for some, even the setup of profiles on Farcaster, Zora, and a closer introduction to the Nouns community through shared-screen sessions and collaborative discussions.
Each artist received a special Nogglesboard kit with curated products designed to illustrate the Nogglesboard project and Nouns culture in a cohesive and playful way. The same approach was extended to the surfers participating in the project with the exception of [Tunico](https://www.instagram.com/tunicolopez?igsh=cGpwbm5pa2N2N3R4), who resides in Indonesia and will instead receive both his surfboard and the kit locally.
All participating artists and surfers have already been onboarded and compensated onchain, ensuring smooth execution of the initiative. The reception has been overwhelmingly positive, with strong enthusiasm, gratitude, and admiration expressed toward the Nouns ecosystem and the opportunity to be part of this project.
Next steps include finalizing artist sessions, capturing creative interactions, and producing both a special documentary and short-form media to showcase the designs, the collaboration with Nouns, and the broader cultural impact.

## Nogglesboard Clip Creations

As outlined in Proposal 752 regarding the Skateboard initiative, alongside the public goods work in Uganda with KSI, the Nogglesboard team continues to produce artistic creations and special video projects featuring different handmade Nogglesboard models in collaboration with protocols, DAOs, and onchain projects. This demonstrates that Nogglesboard is much more than a single proposal or project it is an artistic and intercultural manifestation that connects places, colors, and times.

Skater and artist Will Dias is currently developing Disorder 2 (nounish/nogglesboard style), a short film funded through this proposal and the continuation of [Disorder 1](https://vimeo.com/247013834), while also consistently creating new works within the Nouns, skateboarding, and art universes. They’re also published on the newly launched Nogglesboard YouTube channel, which helps us keep the waves flowing on the website.

## Additionals - Weird

*This is the first Propdate for the Nogglesboard Project. After six months of work, we now move forward with board production and future developments including collaborations with artists/brands (exemple Maze Surf Crafts, Airdrop Culture Gnars DAO etc), the creation of an NFT for the special board (physical piece) from the Rounds Ride the ArtWave, and the addition of new Waves on the Nogglesboard website (contemplating the new chapters and developments of the Proposal, with a special s/o to every artist, surfer, and more)... loading short-media deliveries, the Nogglesboard Doc, Disorder 2, and the Launch event for the boards with an exhibition and invitations to artists and surfers.*
*Once the boards are produced, the next stage will be filming, exhibitions, and events before distributing the boards to the surfers for test rides. These sessions will also contribute footage to the final feature-length documentary.*
*We hope you’re enjoying our work and what we’re building with the DAO, for the DAO. Our goal is to professionalize our profiles and platforms once the boards are completed, adding the level of value a NounsDAO project deserves, and fostering dialogue with different artists, athletes, and builders.*
**Aloha ⌐◨-◨**
Apologies for the radio silence. There a misprint in the original batch so we had to get them reprinted. New expected date in October 15. They will be available via Slice.so and I will take a bunch of them to Devconnect to sell as well.
Here goes a final update 🫡
- Deployed https://docs.nouns.wtf/ (a replacement for nouns.center, but owned by the DAO)
This is a new home for documentation and guidelines for everything Nouns. It's pretty easy to add new stuff, since the content is all Markdown, while still having the flexibility to add custom code and diagrams where needed.
To edit existing pages, simply click "Edit this page" on the sidebar (on desktop), then make your changes and submit them (as PR). To create new pages, reach out to me and I can set it up for you.
- Deployed https://api.nouns.wtf/
This is a new https://ponder.sh/ based API for Nouns. It's way cheaper to host than the old subgraphs (<$10/mo), and it's way easier to extend, add new data and run locally or deploy yourself.
It doesn't have all the data available in the subgraphs yet, but it's really easy to add whatever you need for your client that it's missing.
- Published an updated [https://www.npmjs.com/package/@nouns/sdk](Nouns sdk) with modern interfaces (wagmi) for interacting with the contracts
I decided not to move forward with the bounty program. Funds have been [returned to the treasury](https://etherscan.io/tx/0x77d4a3300dd3bb9008beabd05f7ace795bae1d0c4a4e76ae6b6f8966822082fa)
Hi Nouners! I've been posting intermittent updates about Chip and Benny on Farcaster, but wanted to write the big one here.
This prop is DONE!
It took far longer than I initially thought it would, but I think that ended up being a blessing in disguise because what started off as prop to make a couple lovable puppets and 5 cinematic images turned into making 10 x 2-3 minute episodes of a new short-form series that is really special, fresh and fun.
I wrote and directed all 10 episodes and we shot over 3 days (+1 day for pre-light) at the end of July here in a studio in Toronto with an insanely talented cast (including the co-creator of Nanalan) and crew.
This first batch of episodes was the toughest because we had to both create a lot of the elements that will define the look of the show going forward (physical console and VFX background) and also put together an entire team to make them.
Now with all the elements in place, making this show gets a whole lot simpler from a time and logistics standpoint.
I'm currently working on a release plan for the show and trying to figure out the most effective way to make it something that we can do monthly.
I'll be doing a bigger blast soon when we start to do the proper release of the episodes, but please feel free to dm on farcaster if you'd like to learn (or see) more!
https://farcaster.xyz/chrismeetworld/0x0e7ccf77
gm everyone – I'll be posting propdates to share updates and communicate some ideas as we go.
We are planning to create a landing page (website) using the subdomain devconnect.nouns.wtf to include the schedule of activities and to serve as a primer for attendees.
DUNA admin, Indexcard, is the manager of the .wtf domain and could set up the subdomain to redirect to the website.
Please react to this message with a like or leave an onchain comment to see if it's a good idea and move forward with the subdomain idea.
You can now share noc-related content (either your own or things you like) here:
https://www.jokerace.io/contest/base/0x36f73615381b8ad68e2f3d7d473c8d88a6d9e97b
A new noc contest will start each Tuesday (the above one ends in 45mins), with one week proposing followed by one week voting (so they will run concurrently).
Novel thing here is that the voters are the ones who earn, price to vote ranges from 0.00001 → 0.001ETH from the start to finish, so the earlier you vote the more you can earn. This is a trial, so everything is subject to change, but the more people that engage, the more success we will see wrt new eyeballs on noc and nouns.

On September 7th, we hosted our first Nounish Drawing Jam: WTF is Nounish? in Cali, Colombia. The session brought together more than 20 local artists to learn about Nouns, explore what “Nounish” means, and understand how to participate in the open call for the upcoming Nounish Graphic Fair taking place on November 1–2.
As part of the jam, we organized a fun activity where participants created characters in pairs based on competitive prompts. Each round, winners advanced to the next stage and could choose their prize: a beer or a slice of pizza 🍕🍻.
We had an amazing group of artists join us, and this marks the beginning of many activations leading up to November. ⌐◨-◨

We’re deep in the creative trenches and f*** it’s exciting. Here’s a little glimpse of what the last few months have looked like for us
After putting together the pitch deck, Jeff and I realised that this process is too special to ever feel rushed. Our characters didn’t quite feel right. So we slowed down, tuned out the noise, and focused on what’s important; the ethos of Nouns, and bringing this musical to life.
The magic of writing comes from enjoying each step and letting the characters surprise you, so with that in mind, we pivoted.
The answer led to months of refining our story. Five to six hour long writing sessions every night, and even during our week off, we found ourselves dreaming about the story, but this time, we weren’t haunted by it, it felt like an adventure, we were excited. The result now is a refined story with characters that fully embrace the world we’ve been creating.
During these four months, max also got an offer to write the music for Murakami’s “Norwegian Wood” musical in Tokyo, but after a month back and forth, the end dates were too close to the Nouns Musical, and we only have one priority… making this musical work.
Which led to us opening up Draft #2 of “Isabel”, and it felt incredible. Today we’re so excited to share how far things have come. (And of course, as with any musical, the rewriting will continue long into the journey, that’s the beauty of it.)
Here’s what’s new:
* Three brand new songs at key moments in the story
* An animated social media experiment we’re preparing to launch in April.
* A first look at costumes that are already bringing our characters to life
And one more exciting update: after a great conversation with our director, we’ve decided to follow a model she’s had success with in the past. Before making our official Off-Broadway debut at La Mama, we’re planning a soft opening in San Diego. This gives us the chance to share the show with the community there, gather feedback from local producers, and fine-tune the experience so that when we arrive in New York, the premiere will feel truly ready.
We couldn’t be more thrilled with the direction things are heading and will keep sharing this journey with you all as we go.

Month 3/3
- ~37 original posts shared on X (just for this prop)
- 1500+ aggregated total likes across the X posts (just for this prop)
Overall 3 months stats for the trial:
- ~111 original posts shared on X by the chosen creators
- 3k+ likes on the posts (67% of total likes on the Nouns X account)
- 4.5k likes (across X account - up 250% from previous period)
- 333,000 impressions (across X account - up 191% from previous period)
- 13.9k engagements (across X account - up 134% from previous period)
- 4.1% engagement rate (across X account - down 19% from previous period, due to 100x post frequency)
- 2.2k profile visits (across X account - up 132% from previous period)
- 424 replies (across X account - up 221% from previous period)
- 767 reposts (across X account - up 232% from previous period)
- 128 bookmarks (across X account - up 242% from previous period)
- 56 shares (across X account - up 1000% from previous period)
- ~500+ verified followers increase
In conclusion / Looking ahead:
I had fun doing this with the creators, and appreciate those who massively over-delivered. I let this basically free-flow, but more structure could be implemented, and specific campaigns could be run to boost engagement (e.g. creative writing, nounish trivia, product giveaways). Anyone / a group of people could re-run something like this and focus specifically on different topics like writing, games, live shows or dev. I think what we did was impactful for artists, existing community, new members joining, and for the Nouns X account, as the numbers above show - the trial cost ~$5k for the 3 months. I am going to continue funding a few creators with a lil noc budget and also run an open round that anyone can join to earn (starting this month). I will announce the new round soon and will see how it goes / how it compares to this proposal trial.

- working on designs for some irl products / sourcing materials / contacting artisans in a few countries to create limited pieces for sale
- few of us ran a nouniversary trait competition on 8/8 (attempted live stream but no joy) - was fun and maybe something here to iterate on for future casual community live events:

We’ve been scouting possible venues around the city for the event, and we’ve decided to book Casa de Mono, a cultural house in downtown Cali that we’re already familiar with.
During our meeting with the venue manager, we discussed the event date. October is packed with cultural activities in the city — including the Shakira concert — which makes circulation a bit challenging and could affect attendance.
To increase the chances of attracting visitors, and to also allow enough time for the artist application and selection process, we’ve decided to reschedule the event for the weekend of November 1–2.
# **Onchain Myth - Update 3.0**
First of all, I wanted to say HAPPY NOUNIVERSARY!!!
I made an artwork to celebrate this special moment, and you can mint it right [**HERE**](https://manifold.xyz/@messhup-6367d0f9/id/4164753648)
I'm starting to use Nouns with the style from my Manga, I hope you like it.

Now, let's talk more about the Hyper Cosplay Manga, aka Onchain Myth.
For this small update, I wanted to talk about several things and present you with some charts and visual examples of the progress I've made so far

## My focus on the deliverables
This is a cast that I made around a month ago for those who didn't see it or didn't pay any attention to it:
I wanted to say thanks one more time to the people who supported me all this time (and Nouns ofc). I know I've been silent for a while, but I'm not the type of guy who works in public (I'm still trying).
I feel I've grown so much as an artist that I didn't notice it until the manga started to be highly personal. I'm not sure if this will be a commercial success, but I'm doing everything in my power to make something epic.
I understood I have an opportunity to make something different, something meaningful, and I was contaminating that opportunity trying to deliver something on time instead of building a high quality artwork. I changed that mindset, knowing that I'm risking my reputation of being an artist who delivers on time. But now I'm focused on delivering greatness, and that takes time (sorry, not sorry).
I'll represent Nouns proudly, but for that, I'm making an epic artwork that requires more time than I thought, so please, be patient 🫡
But Messhup, why don't you share more artworks, more stuff? We want to see that you are working on this instead of just getting tanned on a beautiful Caribbean beach.
Because I'm leaning into the **SURPRISE EFFECT.**

## The current status of the Manga

As you can see in the image above, the quality of the manga has been improving, just trust me, bruh, would ya? I know I haven't shared too much, but I don't want you to see the work in progress because there are a lot of drafts, corrections, etc. I want you to read the final version, aka the end product.
I'll try to explain this in tech lingo:

Imagine I'm building a website as a fullstack dev, I need to work on everything a website has, but it's not just a website; it's a dApp that will be used by imaginary users (characters), and they need to interact with the whole thing. But on top of that, I need to create a special layer so we as humans can watch how they interact with each other, aka the manga.
The "GitHub repo" would look like this:

Idk if that makes sense tbh, but I'm sharing something just so you know I'm trying to tell you that I'm working hard on this, just because you can't see it yet doesn't mean I'm slacking all time.
## Very close to be published
But that doesn't mean I'll publish this next week; it could be another 6 months (even more!). I know, the world is going to end soon, and I need to publish this ASAP so we can rejoice with all Nouns in the afterlife, but, it's getting there, I still have some funding to keep working on this so don't worry, I never rug, I'm working on my cave all the time.

If you have ANY question related to this, feel free to send me a DM or @ me on Discord/Farcaster/X or whatever other platform you can find me.
---
I would really appreciate a follow on X @Messhup + **[Insta](https://www.instagram.com/messhup_/)**, and a sub on **[YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/@messhup)**, I'll keep doing livestreams and uploading content about nouns/hypercosplay in those places.

Thanks for reading ⌐◨-◨
**Props 709 Clarification**
I (0xishal), as the founder of proposal 709, would like to apologize to everyone in the Nouns ecosystem for the internal issues we have experienced in executing this proposal. Deguma and I have officially ceased working together as a team since the submission of the Nouns Piggy Bank or before the implementation of proposal 709 began. Therefore, I would like to return the Team Compensation amounting to $1200 (Deguma’s planned honorarium in the Team), which is not our right in the execution of this proposal.
tx : https://etherscan.io/tx/0x7aeb5c49b57abebbec25777cee6da8188bd452285151ea9e9277377f2bf2b33b
We have resolved the issue amicably and will continue to contribute to building the Nouns ecosystem in Indonesia in our own ways.
**Props 709 Update!!**
We are at the end of the implementation of Proposal 709. Here is a recap of the impact we have made on the community!

1. **Nounscraft**
To strengthen the journey of Proposal 709, we decided to name this brand Nounscraft. It all started with a vision to provide education on zero waste, savings, Web 3, and Nouns. We also hope that the impact of our activities can bring joy to everyone who experiences them. For this reason, we initiated the creation of a mini gallery on a three-wheeled vehicle with mobility to reach kindergartens, elementary schools, and foundations. We host a mini pop-up event every week to get closer to the community.
2. **Sunday Pop-up Event**
A weekly event that began on April 27 and is held every week. We have successfully held 14 pop-up events every week. Although we had to change locations, we are now in a very strategic location at Car Free Day Lanud Hasanuddin. As of July 27th, we have sold over 200 DIY packages and over 300 piggy banks painted on-site. Another achievement is that we are able to sell 30 boxes and 25 painted piggy banks on-site each week.
3. **Kids Art Class**
The primary goal of providing educational impact to children has been gradually achieved. One example is the successful implementation of Nounscraft Goes to School at Bunayya Montessori School and Al-Qadri Foundation. Over 100 children have experienced joy thanks to Nounscraft’s presence.
4. **Cross Blockchain Collaboration**
In the journey of Nounscraft, we have ideas for cross-blockchain collaboration. The goal is to expand the influence of Nouns and knowledge about the Nouns DAO. The first collaboration we have initiated is with Polkadot, where we have held DIY classes multiple times and promoted them through social media.
5. **Social Media Growth**
Social media has become a tool for proving, realizing, and communicating Nounscraft. Along the way, we have strived to get everyone to follow us on Instagram and X. After trying our best, we have now successfully gained loyal followers on Instagram and X, totaling more than 175. The details are 50 followers on [X](https://x.com/NounsCraft) and 125 followers on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/nounscraft?igsh=ZW9pMmh5bGdzdmI=).
**What's Next?**
Since Proposal 709 has been running for over six months, we have successfully contributed to the growth and recognition of Nouns in Indonesia. Currently, there are approximately 100 Nouns piggy banks and 30 DIY kits remaining. We are committed to allocating the remaining piggy banks for future activities. With the completion of the entire 6-month program and the achievement of the objectives of Proposal 709, we hereby declare that Proposal 709 has been successfully concluded.
If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them! You can contact me on Discord, [X](https://x.com/0xishal), or [Farcaster](https://farcaster.xyz/0xishal).
Let’s keep the wheels of the Nounscraft tricycle turning!!
Design has been completed. Manufacturing order sent. Bought a label printing items and some shipping envelopes on Amazon Prime day to save costs. Had an unexpected shipping cost but will eat it out of pocket as a lesson learned. Will continue sharing on socials and Telegram as I get more information.
Month 2/3
- ~29 original posts shared on X (for this prop)
- ~631 aggregated total likes across the X posts (for this prop)
- 77,500+ impressions (all posts not just this prop)
- 159 reposts (all posts not just this prop)
- 94 replies (all posts not just this prop)
- 3,200 engagements (all posts not just this prop)
- Follower count basically the same, maybe slight increase but data seems unreliable, no noticeable mass-increase in followers
Total posts is significantly lower than the 1st month so makes sense that overall metrics are down (Still over-delivering wrt deliverables outlined in proposal). Seeing more people using the public form which is cool, find here: https://nounsdao.deform.cc/x/
Few highlights for me personally include
- 3d printed cc0 designs by fbh: https://x.com/nounsdao/status/1946990274754068811
- beautiful mural by tagawa-san:
https://x.com/Marcot_no1/status/1945314759211147659
note: tagawa is not on this proposal but if we run it back I would love to include him.
1 creator sent back the $450 USDC to the DAO as they had other obligations and didn't want more time to pass: https://etherscan.io/tx/0x41c9fb54f9292ac2d378fa700882f0f3015044629e2a8d4abaa2d343296620d5
Final month of the trial is underway, please feel free to leave feedback here onchain or dm etc - I am considering and open round to give more people an opportunity to join in and may run something with yellow collective if they are keen over there.
⌐◨-◨
# Launch
Did KYC for Nouns. Did KYB for Splits. Reached out to idigit.eth to send over an invoice/collaboration agreement so we can get this party started.
## Next Steps
Set up storefront. With Shopify announcing USDC payments I may explore this, but still leaning on Slice. Have some camelcamel alerts for shipping materials on Amazon. Hoping to start sharing images soon-ish
# Budget Report
TLDR:
- "Live Music Performance" was not activated
- "Expenses for "Local Impact Initiative" were covered with MISC Budget
- Expenses for merch "Artwork commission" was sponsored by me through my merch store: [butter.wtf](https://butter.wtf/products/nouns-la-familia-by-holakidd?variant=54278217105676)
- Ben Ross couldn't make it to NYC due to the passing of his mother. All costs were recovered
- Dinner Catering was not activated
- **17k USDC were returned to the treasury on June 25, 2025**
By returning the remaining funds to the treasury and sharing this budget breakdown, I consider this proposal as **completed**.
Because the remaining reports on "Local Impact Project" and "Residency Program" are very visual, they will be shared in essay-format on my Paragraph page: https://paragraph.com/@benjamin, twitter and farcaster.
If you have any questions, please reach out.
Thank you for trusting me bringing Haus of Nouns to FarCon in NYC this year. It was a pleasure, as always.
See you on discord and farcaster,

My takeaway so far is that these posts are mainly reaching people already aware of Nouns, and we could benefit from some CTA and more interactivity/games etc. Thanks to the creators who have gone above and beyond to overdeliver, standout piece of the month for me was by 8rr, which also was loved by many on X and Farcaster:

Time for a status update:
My focus on this first month was paying off tech debt, fixing things that were broken on nouns.wtf and removing outdated information.
Tech debt:
By updating to modern technologies and setting up better guard rails the development experience improved considerably.
- Faster builds, quick visual feedback on changes and less boilerplate quickly repays for the time invested.
- Website loading performance also improved noticeably.
- AI assistants are also much more helpful and less error-prone with the updated tech stack and development practices. They're likely the future of this codebase, so that's a very important KPI
- Processed most of the old issues and PRs on the repo, with only a few left to address.
Shoutout to nekofar.eth for his continued contributions! (he did the heavy lifting on the tech stack upgrades)
Broken & outdated things:
- [Explore Nouns](https://nouns.wtf/nouns) section was rebuilt. It was thought out for an era of 100s of Nouns, and didn't work very well with the 1000s we have now (took a very long time to load).
- Older Nouns now load (we missed you, [Noun 0](https://nouns.wtf/noun/0))
- Removed links to several outdated/abandoned resources (nouns center, nouns agora, )
- Brought Japanese translation up to date (Nouns DAO Japan folks, hit me up if the translations can be improved)
New stuff:
- DUNA section on explainers
- Chinese translation
- Footer nav (with direct links to all the important contracts)
- [Brand assets](https://nouns.wtf/brand) page with the main logos & resources
- [Traits](https://nouns.wtf/traits) page with the full list of traits (downloadable as png and svg)
- [Playground](https://nouns.wtf/playground) now allows for transparent bg and exporting as both png and svg
Still lots that can be improved, but IMHO nouns.wtf is at least presentable now.
Now I'll focus a bit on setting up our knowledge base (nouns center replacement) to host all the documentation we direly need.
Bounty program:
To be initiated.
With the current capabilities of AI agents, my feeling is the bounty budget will be best spent in taste and curation:
- creating new articles for the knowledge base (or vet the AI writing), ensuring they're accurate, readable & didactic. (e.g. for dynamic quorum, client incentives, sponsoring props).
- creating new content for the landing page (showcase the DAO achievements, onboard builders, artists, voters, etc)
- design revamps (could def use a fresh coat of paint)
Development bounties will probably be less abundant, since tasks that are well described enough to be a bounty can likely be implemented by Claude. Exceptions might be data-heavy tasks that can benefit from more diligence (new subgraph entries, metrics, etc) or ones that could benefit from creativity and some added weirdness.
That's it for today
Please reach out if you have feedback, ideas, requests 🫡
