Memo 0xbb1c0ab7…f2745d on Ethereum

I’m sorry I missed this as a candidate. Had I seen this before or received any kind of mention/DM, I would have replied immediately! Anyway. Since 2022, Nouns and NNS have been our full-time job, and we’ve consistently delivered, no matter how ambitious or crazy the product might have seemed. We were never informed that monthly updates were required, so we had planned for quarterly updates instead. From the start of this year, we never stopped building. We are constantly in close contact with builders, communities, and Nouners to shape our products around their needs. In fact, a lot of nouners and community builders can confirm we are currently working or brainstorming solutions to support their communities or projects. Historically, we’ve always dedicated Q1 to the development of the mvp of a core product that can make the whole network of products stronger throughout the year. Last year, it was NOGS. This year, it’s an AI agent with the goal to simplify any nounish onchain action and then unlock new monetization flows for the DAO. And this year’s Q1 was even more important as Prop 711 was our final NounsDAO prop. Q1 is also important to create plans with communities to speed up the development of new features across the year and improve the most promising parameters of the current products(that’s why these months we focused so much on Governance, both on tech and UX, and on growing the pool of Noun) Being the only funded team that develops multiple nounish products annually, we must strategically allocate our energy and resources to maximize their impact within the ecosystem. For our most ambitious mandate, we’ve structured every improvement and release across a one-year timeframe, similar to what we did with the past successful mandates, where we planned our moves during the lifespan of the props. Careful planning is essential to absorb not only the 30% budget cut from the original budget but also local taxes, all while maintaining the high level of execution that led us to secure our third mandate in 3 years. With this mandate, we’ve taken on the significant responsibility of reviving communities and demonstrating to the DAO that funding proposals can be both impactful and profitable. We don’t take this lightly. That’s why we’ll continue to develop bold products and make bold decisions to bring this vision to life. - Vika has been behind the content of every NNS product since 2022. Initially, she provided support while also working with major Web2 brands, but given the importance of this mandate, she made the decision to focus on NNS Labs exclusively. Like any other NOGS holder, she earned tickets through a modest 33M NOGS holding and used them to participate in a few Noggles Club drops. As tickets are limited and the prize values are currently relatively low (she didn’t participate in the Nouns Vision drops, for example), I never considered this an issue. However, that was clearly my mistake. A few days ago, I already thanked Pipe for the feedback and I confirmed that team members will no longer participate in the Noggles Club raffles. - Andrea (@apbigcod) and I have worked together since our very first Round on Prop House in April 2022. He’s the experienced developer behind every single product and update we’ve launched over the past three years. - Since our mandate follows a one-year timeline, the white-label platform, designed to help revive communities like SharkDAO, will be implemented in Q2. This development will be enhanced by features from our AI agent, enabling DAOs to automate operations and reduce friction. Since our resources are limited and there is a massive tech work to be done, this is the period of the year in which we will start to increase the support from additional devs. - Our current designer is now finalizing the AI agent MVP. Once that’s completed, they’ll shift focus to designing the Noggles Club and the White Label platform while we complete the agent release and its integration with $nogs and NounsDAO. CONCLUSION I’m extremely excited about the recent focus of the DAO on revenue growth and I even believe in the NounsBreakEvenMovement. But to be honest, as a team who has worked with Nouns since forever it was quite automatic for us to organize our work and updates the way we always did. Everyone in the DAO knows I’ve never been super social in the open (my fault) and that I have always preferred to talk more through DMs than on my public profiles/channels. However, if the DAO now requires monthly onchain updates, we will obviously be happy to oblige. Maybe we could make monthly updates mandatory for every successful prop, but then we could just notify the builders instead of getting alarmed if that doesn’t happen automatically. Anyway, I understand that the recent events have shaken the DAO, but the fact that we are possibly one of the very few teams that continued to ask for a Stream instead of the entire amount upfront should only be further proof of our continuous and undeterred dedication to the Nouns ecosystem. I seriously hope this answers anyone’s doubts, but I’m always here for anything.
