## UPDATE – October 24, 2023
Hi hi! The *__NOUNS–HALO KEYCHAIN__* circuit board is now in *__production!__*
x700 units are in the process of being manufactured – we're just rounding the final components from suppliers and I will receive the first 5 samples in approximately 20-25 days. Once I've cleared the samples, then the remaining units should be all made within 2 weeks!
A little refresher in re to the quantity:
- 600 units will be distributed:
- 500 available for purchase
- 50 supplied to the DAO
- 50 for gifting, raffles, etc. – marketing purposes
- an extra 100 units are manufactured for quality check and any additional quantities that pass it will be available for purchase
### Enclosure
The enclosure is nearly complete, I'm waiting for the battery samples to arrive in order to make sure it all fits in. In the meantime, I'm testing the material and options for the clear resin and its opacity levels.
I've also sourced manufacturers to produce the enclosures using injection moulding so that will be all ready to go soon!
### Firmware
The code has been finalized and tested, everything is working perfectly! I've uploaded it on github in the meantime, but it will be available on the website once it has launched. https://github.com/tigrisli/nouns-halo
### Packaging

I'm waiting to receive the samples this week to verify the dimensions and experiment with the packaging, colours, etc. so I'll put up an update on this soon!
