# Community-weighted Voting and Proof of Personhood In order to make the Nouns DAO experiment thrive in terms of decentralised governance, empowering its core values - culture and community - hence making "nouns great again", with a long-term financial sustainability vision, it would be great to discuss these 2 intertwined topics: 1. A voting system that is inspired by the Gitcoin's quadratic funding, so the rationale is still 1 noun = 1 vote, but more nouners vote for a prop the better. That's why "community-weighted voting". I won't dig deeper on formulas or similar, I'd like first to openly dicuss on how to put this in practice. The DAO doesn't want to go against the fact that a single wallet (or person) wants to accumulated many nouns, neither want to diluite treasury value or something similar. So we need to think about the right balance between a fairly decentralised governance and keeping a proper financial incentive. 2. Implementation of a frontier system that can prove 1 wallet = 1 person (aligned with the original DAO ethos of 1 noun = 1 vote) but with a full preservation of privacy and anonimity too. There're many tools out there, I know and tested several ones, but also in this case I'd leave it as an open community-led conversation. community-weighted-voting-and-proof-of-personhood
