as miguelito.eth mentioned, this proposal conflates 1) should a legal entity be formed? and, 2) if so, what kind of entity?
utah, wyoming, and tennesse have all passed dao legislation in the last few years. what are the differences between them? what are the pros and cons, what are the tradeoffs? are they appropriate, or perhaps an even better fit than a marshall islands dao? the same questions could (and should) be asked of colorado co-ops and unincorporated nonprofit associations (UNAs).
as philm.eth mentioned, this is a hard-to-reverse elective decision. given the costs (and the stakes) i strongly prefer a slower, more methodical approach. one that seriously takes into consideration the alternatives mentioned above.
