uplink update
going well:
We've found some version of PMF amongst new base projects, some more successful than others. We've onboarded a total of 260 spaces (organizations / projects) since our prop, including a handful of new & existing nouns-eco projects. We've begun work on our new set of contracts as planned in prop 487 and hope to complete them shortly. A small but successful web2 physical goods company has reached out to us and expressed interest in working with the nouns brand - more on this very soon.
challenges:
The biggest challenge at the moment is the dance of balancing
1) support for the platform as it exists today and needs of users
while
2) developing and planning the new technology that encapsulates our vision for the future of our product
lessons learned:
while there are certainly many incremental improvements that can be made today to enhance and extend the platform as it exists now, we have our sights set on building out our new protocol first. We're aware that this might be an unpopular take in startup land, and could be interpreted as "ignoring our users", but we trust that the key learnings gained through building this product has put us in a position to make this decision with high conviction.
