Personally, I am excited to see this proposal hit the chain. The work you’ve done with past Nouns initiatives, and the fact that you have a proven track record...especially the transparency in returning unspent funds...gives me a lot of confidence in this ask.
I’m a big fan of the vision here. The idea of creating a permanent, physical hub for Nouns in Portugal is exactly the kind of unique, long term proliferation we should be aiming for. I love that this is structured as a one year ask to build a self sufficient asset...the goal of having this run forever is exactly what the DAO needs to see more of. The event formats you’ve outlined, especially Sip n Swing and the movie nights, feel like they’ll hit the right balance of accessible and engaging to get people in the door. 2 events I would likely attend monthly myself if I didn't live thousands of miles away.
When I first saw the location at a golf course, I was initially concerned about the demographic fit. However, knowing you live in the area and are deeply tied into that specific community, I trust your judgment on the ground to navigate it successfully.
The budget makes a lot of sense, and I’m looking forward to seeing how this evolves into a permanent fixture.
