Memo 0xf28a9617…192580 on Ethereum

fund-public-goods-with-defi-native-borrowing@0xC7CC...7d87 I am a huge fan of Liquity and its licensed forks. I have been advocating for Nouns supporting or leveraging BOLD more as I feel it is more aligned from a stablecoin perspective than USDC. As for the DeFi aspect of liquity that is something I am a bit more weary of mostly due to the fact that our members find DeFi boring or not useful as a mechanism of funding things. But leveraging Liquity defi protocol is something we can explore as a group. Overall bullish on Nouns x Liquity. Let's make something happen! > The extra management from redemption/trove hunting feels like a mismatch for DAOs. Delegation can offset it a little, but does anyone really want that responsibility without getting compensated? (Imagine the positive comments if a DAO Trove gets redeemed 😅) > > ? something more passive where the market or governance just works out the rate. No constant watching or delegation hassles. Aave/GHO or Spark/USDS,no sharks in the pool, just order books doing their thing. > > That said, a Trove could have advantages if we upgraded the auction contracts to send daily auction proceeds straight to our DAO-controlled Trove, steadily pushing up the collateral. (not sure possible using Aave/spark 👨‍🔧🪠 > > It would mostly just be borrow/repay plus redeem any extra ETH, instead of those “oh shit bad price add more ETH” emergency moments (though yeah, the market can always bite. 3AC thought they were safe once too).
