Yes, we must be diligent in keeping things flat and decentralized under DUNA, but I don’t think GitHub access is an issue in that regard. The DAO runs on smart contracts on Ethereum, and only the DAO can make changes to those contracts through onchain governance. Nouns.wtf and the GitHub repo are just two of several places where the community can now build around the protocol, not the core protocol itself. Anyone can submit a pull request, and there are many contributors with merge access, so responsibility is already pretty spread out. I see this as a good step toward more open source collaboration, and we can keep moving in that direction if that’s where the DAO wants to go.
