tabletop-v2---sponsor-boardgaming-on-farcasterI think this proposal outlines the commitment and energy iSpeakNerd will contribute to this vertical and growing nouns in general. We have a new avenue to dive into and he is the key figure head for us to do this.
I don't like having AI quotes being created on my behalf thats funded by the dao. outside of context it looks bad and resonates something that I never liked in the original AI implementation to predict voting, at least in the other one it was focused on a bot voting on itself not predicting peoples VWR. Maybe im old but I don't like AI putting words in my mouth.
Outside of that, I don't think this creates any real value to the DAO.

I am still not a fan of rewarding nouns in proposals, until the proposal itself has been completed. Feels really odd. Looks like this will pass regardless but just wanted to toss my feedback.
Glad the stream was made more reasonable, def. worth funding now.

> Like I mentioned before, this venue is already a creative hub with immense potential to become a central spot for the Nouns community! And the team behind this proposal has proven their capability, and given my work with Instituto Skate Cuida (skateboarding cares), I see numerous collaboration opportunities that could amplify Nouns House's impact. I love the update including the CCO and Opensource opportunities with parther projects. Looking forward to tons of collaboration and onboarding new people to all things Nouns! Lets token8.life !

> The reduction of the stream from 15 months to 3 months certainly makes this more palatable. The reno budget still feels high for what’s being undertaken.
>
> That said, we're happy to give the team the benefit of the doubt. We love the concept and are big believers in IRL, obviously…
>
> Good luck to the team :)
NGL just kinda confused by this one, mostly when reviewing the Focus Areas section. Just feels like a lot of platitudes without real execution on how/why?
I will repeat, that Yellow Collective and Nouns Town Square crew is literally what keeps the heart beat and pulse of nouns alive everyday. Constant contributions and energy every single fucking day. We can't let this die!
+1
> I honestly believe Yellow Collective and Nouns Town Square have kept Nouns alive more than we think. They are the daily driver that keeps attention alive, when in other ways it wouldn't exist. Obviously, I am biased because they have also kept Tavern alive but I still feel that without these amazing people and their efforts Nouns would be in a much worse position than it currently is.

I think this is a really interesting experiment with fairly low cost to the DAO. Let's keep these rolling! They also did a Tavern you can check out https://alpha.tavern.fm/taverns/LbWFarjasqYPdhjWjBTe
Nouns HOPE Update #2
Here is the latest progress update as we get closer to resuming the completion of the art park.
Currently we are still waiting on the easement negotiations with Texas Gas Services for the Tesla pipeline to move forward. We continue to learn more about this process and how it will affect the timeline use for our entrance driveway.
Updated plan sets arrived 6/27 and first new estimate for review came 7/18
We are waiting on two more comparable bids for final reviewing.
Installation of the educational HOPE Pop-up space with Funsize at Canopy Studios - to give people a taste of what the new HOPE Outdoor Gallery will feel like once it opens.
This exhibit will be a space to host several small HOPE Happy Hours and events during this slow period of review & negotiations.
Yea, this feels very odd. I love the idea of having more IRL bases around the world in key locations, however I also feel like we are just supplementing their teams salaries for the next 2 years. If everything was just going to the remodel, I would be much more interested in funding.
+1
> The team and general idea of a Nouns home base irl sound dope. But it's tough to imagine how a 5% investment of the treasury would lead to Nouns growth. And I believe the larger the ask the higher the bar to have a detailed PNL, projections on Nounish ROI, etc.
We need more localized sponsorships with people who have been part of that culture to proliferate nouns in a better more niche way. Would love to see more of these popping up at this scale around the world!
Similar, not sure we need to spend money on making auction "better" we need projects that bring more eyes to the auction. Also, I think nouns.camp could probably just pick up any future updates to auction.

> And specifically I don't believe the difficulty of bidding issue (if it really is one) is a really a driver of prices when zooming out even a tiny bit.
> Thanks to the team for putting it forward.
I think engaging more homeschool kids with these materials and approach is def. a more interesting way. Rather than traditional school systems. I also think maybe finding montessori schools as well. I love everything else though and want to see this funded!

There's often a ton of red tape involved with school curricula, sometimes at local government levels or even national ones. Every country has different rules, and it's honestly a huge challenge.
> >
> > That's why we at EduNouns decided to focus on creating content for younger kids (ages 4-7) and aim it at parents, families, and caregivers instead of schools. We're thinking about home education, group learning, local community centers, that kind of thing. We've found that people are actively looking for stuff they can print at home and use right away to teach or play with their kids. This approach has worked best for us so far, and I think it's a great direction where we can achieve a lot more.
> >
> > The main issue right now is that our material sets aren't complete - for example, we don't have the full alphabet yet. That's why this proposal focuses a lot on expanding our content, making black and white versions (easy to print), and improving our website, including SEO, so people can find us more easily.

It would add a lot of weight to the problem statement outlined here, and for me as a voter it would make it much easier to say yes.

> Already said this on Noun O'Clock but I'll reiterate here: if you haven't yet, click on the Things Got Bigger propdate link. The work these folks put together on Prop 512 is incredible, and is more than enough for me to trust them with another project. Easy yes.
I am personally for NounsSwap + Fee with fee being on some bonding curve set by the dao where lower numbers cost more. I think alternative revenue streams back to the dao for nouns people will keep forever makes a lot of sense. I personally don't think we need the other stuff and maybe 33e to the team to build stuff no one will use is probably overkill. It feels like a lot of "pork" is added to the core point that people want (or don't want) for that I am going to vote No. I wouldn't like to see a much simpler version of this, for just the funding for the swapping and nothing else.
I like giving esports nouns, but not sure I like this part "The Nouns Esports team will offer a white-glove experience to all delegates, providing them with an ENS and ETH to facilitate their voting. Those who successfully complete the following deliverables during their term will receive a reward of 0.1 ETH from Nouns Esports." I don't think you should be spending money after you already giving delegation votes to folks in the community. Most people have to pay for a Noun to participate in governance, you are now giving them Nouns and giving them money. Feels weird to me. Voting For, but I would rethink the other incentives.

sunny-in-california---surfing-nouns-town-laI am a pretty big fan of IRL proposals with experts and professionals in a particular field. The only thing to work on is better distribution of the micro docs that get made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYO0feBuy3E was the last proposal video (which is amazing!) however, we need to circulate and push this type of content in better ways. I think cutting shorts or tiktok vids or work with Nounish to help distribute. aka we need better cross collaboration with the different groups we fund. Either way, I like whats being made and would like to see this proposal live!

> Except for foundations/teams that have contributed to Nouns, I think a special rate would be a good way to ensure folks can get their forever Noun/traits that align with their work/personality/vibe.
>
> For all other swaps, would ask that we consider a standard payment to the treasury. One possible way:
>
> "1:1": a small fee to Swap similar Nouns or Nouns from #xxxx and beyond
> Somewhat rare/#xx-#xxx Nouns: a medium-sized fee to swap.
> Very rare/first #xx/#xxx Nouns: highest ETH paid to swap
>
> Where ETH paid=is in some fixed relation to the current average price or maybe just fixed overall for now. Super huge fan of Paperclip labs and nounswap.wtf especially the treasury data. And for this reason some kind of compensation/ROI back to the treasury can be done while keeping the means to get the right PFP affordable.

Honestly, not sure how to dissect this proposal. Noun o'clock is basically run by the Yellow team and I don't see them listed on the proposal as participants. Seems like lots of upgradable contracts need to happen to make this possible but which team and trusted participants is doing that work. It also seems like the payments are just going to a single individual when the work is highly complex and not trivial to execute. This proposal seems like 3/4 different proposals all combined together and could be isolated to each their own. It all seems interesting, but way too convoluted.
I am supportive of getting to sustainability asap through sales of the Nounish board game and bringing more people into the hypersub on Warcast.

> I love /tabletop and ongame summer. I'm supportive of this, but I'd like to see more onchain components of the /tabletop approach. I'd also like to see a path to sustainability for this effort and would not vote for a second prop with additional funding until that is evidenced.

Without someone like him driving this effort we wouldn't be able to make an impact. 32x32px:-the-art-of-nouns---updatableI am super down for this, I love that we can stretch nouns from comical memes all the way to fine art exhibitions.
The idea is great, but the subtle hints of comments that show the proposal isn't fully fleshed out "We could also mint some of the art as editions and do some social challenges to encourage plastic free actions/living." or "Nouns art work for an open edition: funds split between artist & nouns - 0.5-1 Eth?" and other things that just aren't baked all the way. Giving a project even the subtle amount of 4e without clear spending targets, doesn't feel like a good proposal. I also don't think you should be saying things like "I wouldn’t mind a noun as well :)" in the funding ask. Either ask for a noun and we can judge you on the merit or just ask for exactly what the proposal needs.
Non-logical, just my emotional sentiment that the proposal feels kinda boring and not interesting. I am all for teaching more people about crypto, however, the cost versus the impact doesn't make a lot of sense.
the-noggle-ring-v3--presented-by-cryptojewelerI still believe in the pursuit of nounish artifacts, physical goods, irl goodies. I also would wear this ring (i am not a jewelry person, but it's simple enough and insignia rings are super cultish!)
I think the adjustments to the proposal and the effort they have put towards making this as best they can, makes me hopeful on the success of the project (even if it's just 12 of us rocking rings)
More things we can take to big events (which we will be having more and more) makes the entire pie look so much more delicious.
