I highly admire Facu's work, and he has been dedicated to nouns for a long time now. Appreciate the team taking previous comments into consideration and revising the prop. I believe the DAO has a lot to gain from a different perspective/language and also hopefully reaching new people. This is a definitely yes for me.
Journey Through Pixels and Fashion: The Colorful Life of B – B is a beautiful individual whose life story reads like a journey through a technicolor world of science, art, and fashion. Born and raised in Brazil, B’s belief in pixels and facts shaped her intellectual and curious nature. Intelligent, brave, supportive, and honest, she approaches life with enthusiasm and practicality, sprinkled with a dash of impatience and sarcasm. Sporting a distinctive purple cap, B’s love for data is more than just a passion; it’s a way of life. Her scientific background is unusual, especially considering that she never let her furry nature impede her work in the lab. An astonishing feat in her career includes traveling over 70,000 km in work trips in a single week, proof to her dedication and relentless drive. Though she vowed to cut back on such extensive branch hopping, sometimes she still finds herself on the move. When B entered the web3 space, it was like a return to her natural habitat. The digital jungle of web3 was uncharted territory, reminiscent of the phrase “era tudo mato” from her Brazilian roots. Watching this landscape grow and evolve has been a source of great amazement and inspiration for her. This evolution mirrored her own journey from a student who collected postcards to a professional buying physical and then digital art. B’s affinity for fashion took a natural turn into a career path. Now at the helm of a fashion house, she stands at the forefront of a new era in clothing, one that combines utility with fun and innovation. Her approach to fashion reflects her belief in the integration of technology and aesthetics. Despite her busy professional life, B’s role as a mother to two little monkeys is what brings her the greatest joy. The sleepless nights are a small price to pay for the abundance of love, hugs, and kisses that fill her days. Her life, a unique blend of science, art, and family, is a confirmation to the power of following one’s passions and the beauty of a life lived fully and creatively.https://redlion-news.mypinata.cloud/ipfs/Qmd9trGW9yynRsJZjCoMLnexNdnpR4kZ4wVAtT4DhdkHNs
although I believe we should value the effort of our builders, spending 50k to make a film about a single individual seems too high, and not enough ROI as it's way too niche. I don't believe any respectable film festival will take a second look at it, in all honesty. And as "advertisement" for nouns, then do a journey of nouns, not focused on a single individual.
Gami has significantly contributed to the nouns community. However, I believe that the concept of gifting nouns would be more impactful if directed towards individuals who currently lack nouns. This approach would empower valuable members of the community who may not already possess nouns, ensuring their voices are heard. Additionally, it minimizes the potential for individuals to gain disproportionate influence, such as increased voting power, through the accumulation of gifted nouns.
The idea is good, but would've been nice to see a pilot prop. Also restructure it in a less centralised, council structure to a community voting system (just a thought)? Appreciate the people proposing, and would very much like to see them involved in the nouns ecosystem, but more ground level involvement would be ideal.
# “More Past than Future” - The first film fully funded by Nouns - Recording in Africa

**TLDR - Being the first feature film funded by Nouns, having the chance to take our Noggles to the main film festivals around the world and possibly being present in the main streaming catalogs.**
**"More Past than Future"** is the project of a documentary that will be shot in the heart of Casamance (southern region of Senegal), a small Muslim village, a kind of mystical island protected by religious guides called Marabus. A deep dive into a new world, full of rites, music, magic, secrets, fascinating images and testimonies of real characters who try to survive and maintain their traditions, in the midst of a civil war and the reality of goods smuggling.

**TLDR - Graduated in cinema from Université Lumière Lyon II in France, Daniel Leite is Author / Director / Photographer / Producer of the documentary “Kabadio - Here time is not in a hurry, it goes barefoot”. An independent production that played in more than 30 film festivals around the world, was part of important streaming catalogs such as Amazon Prime Video and received the Best Cinematography award at the 7th Festival Heritales - Lisbon, being watched by more than 300k people worldwide**.

# **The project**

Engaged in Brazil national black cinema and after visiting the African continent many times, it was in 2006 that Daniel Leite started recording the feature film "Kabadio, where time goes slowly, walks barefoot".
Now, 17 years later, Daniel intends to return to the African continent to meet characters who marked his lens. About 40 photos taken in 2006 were selected. Each photo has a story. They are portraits of the most varied possible, which will act as guides that will dictate the progress of our itinerary in the village.

*What would it be like to meet the young Fatou N'Dei, now 20 years old?*
*What stories does she carry with her?*
*What was the village like for her at that time when you played in the rain?*
*What was your father's fate, Badou?*
*Did Fatou N'Dei follow the statistics and become a mother in her youth?*

The aim of the project is to make an observational documentary, sometimes poetic, sometimes in the photo essay and at other times with backstage coverage, with a making-of behavior camera. A cross between these subgenres will bring harmonic diversity, as the raw material will always be the same: the past of the people and the village. In the footsteps of photographer Daniel Leite will be followed by a small team — which, with the necessary setback, will film these encounters. These same steps will be followed by the past, very closely with pictures the photographer produced in 2006. Whenever necessary, stories and images from the past will gain the screen, either by telling curiosities, or showing, through the contact sheet that will gain the canvas, the photographic step by step until the photo that he judged to be the main one.

# The legacy

The Casamansa region is a conflagrated region, there is a separatist war there that has lasted more than 30 years. The young people of Kabadio are leaving the village for Europe, through illegal and very dangerous routes. Some manage to finish the path, but they are shocked by the illegality in Europe, others disappear.
The rural exodus is currently one of the biggest problems in the region and that is why the Permakabadio association works directly with young people in order to avoid choosing this path.
Among the countless activities offered by Permakabadio, it was in football that they found their greatest strength. Called Asc Bindoula, the association's team was created in order to develop the concept of youth belonging to a much larger context.
More than 20 athletes work hard throughout the year with the aim of classifying the team in the biggest competition in the state of Casamansa, Intervilarejos, the real World Cup in the region.
Taking place during Senegal's monsoon, one of the most difficult times of the year, where life becomes slow and all locomotion complex. Intervilarejo is a breather and a portal to a new competitive and festive reality.

[Permakabadio's Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/permakabadio)
Our goal is to bring even more strength to the team and its athletes, so we want to sponsor the team next year through the following actions:
* Buy of a new uniform with Nouns as a sponsor
* Buy of sports equipment for the team (balls, cleats, shin guards…)
* Workshop with local experts, players, coaches.
* Renovation of the Kabadio football field
* Construction of ASC Bindoula's CT (Meeting and Study Room)
* Library around sports and decolonial themes
* Buy a laptop for the trainer
* Buy of a projector to be attached to the laptop for use in viewing games and tactics
All the amount raised with the release of the first feature was fully transferred to the village in the form of resources or support for projects.

We facilitated the arrival of energy to the Bindoula permaculture farm, which today has 20 young people working directly in its operation. We helped in the construction of the Community Bakery located on the same farm, we donated half a ton of flour in order to speed up their bakery activities. In addition to donating food to the community and helping with emergencies in the village.
In this new project it will be no different, all the amount raised will be fully reverted to Kabadio and the maintenance of the legacy that Nouns will leave in the village.
# Why Nouns should fund this proposal

“More past than future” talks about a people, a little visited part of Africa. Giving voice to its population is to bring out our ancestry, as it was from the Senegambia sector (where Kabadio is located) where the first Mandinga enslaved in the Africa x Brazil diasporic movement came from.
The potential of this project was already proven in our first feature, in which we were present in more than 40 film festivals, passing through 12 countries and remaining in the Amazon Prime Video documentary catalog for 2 years, being watched by more than 300k people worldwide.
Our bonds are not frivolous, our relationships are not ephemeral. We have followed the life of this village for more than 15 years and we intend to participate more and more in its development.

Sponsoring our documentary and book gives Nouns the opportunity to take their glasses into the most prestigious film festivals in the world, project their brand into the streaming universe, participate in an arts publication of historical importance and thereby affirm even more the strength of the community and its ability to be involved in big projects.
In addition to the public understanding the importance of Nouns in carrying out these artistic projects, they will understand that it was the initial vector for a legacy that belongs to the village. The films and the book make up an archive that will be entirely dedicated to the village's causes until the end of time.
Our cinema is humanitarian, all resources captured in this proposal will be donated to the village of Kabadio, located in the south of Senegal in the region of Casamance. Moving the local economy and leaving a true legacy for the people.

Acho que o Martin precisa de ajuda, e acho que podemos nos unir como comunidade para ver como podemos ajudá-lo. Mas realmente achei que iria ver propostas para construir algo aqui. Nada contra o cão e seu dono, mas não acho que essa seja a melhor forma de começar a usar o tesouro.
Having someone that does not speak the language and understand local culture fly around to attend events instead of tapping into our local communities seems insane to me. Having several teams that coordinate on best practices could be the way to go.
I really like Gami and the work gnars does. But I don't think putting this amount of eth in one single person's hands are the best for the DAO. A smaller ask with (any) detail on how funds will be distributed (who/how/when it'll be decided) would be welcomed.
Although I really like the group and the cause, I'm voting no as there is very little detail on how the money will be spent, who is getting paid and how much. Would welcome the prop again once these details are better described.
I do love prop house, but we're spending ca 2.5 ETH on admin to every 1 ETH to builders. This does not seem like a great ratio. Also, I believe >16 ETH per team members way too high, specially considering all the feedback the community gives on how other contributors should be compensated. Prop House is important, and I'd welcome the prop again after discussion.
Although I like the idea of pods for fund distribution, I cannot vote for this prop as is.
- targeting >150k earners seems very narrow-minded to me, excluding a lot of talent
- builders will be paid 5 eth/month to then apply to prop house? and get 2 eth? or wait for a bigger prop house for similar funding?
There are some issues that should be addressed to make sure best results are achieved.
I like the prop and the team. But have some issues with it:
1. no discourse, not open to feedback from the community.
2. not clear on payment: 20 eth/month for team “to be paid retroactively based on work completed and builders helped”. How is that measured? How much will the team get paid, who decides, and what is done with the money left over (if any)?
3. no transparency on how the 10 eth for builders will be distributed, how the decision process will be made and if anyone will be able to know about it.
4. the “5 eth of retro funding for what has been done to build this system already” - what is this for exactly? The network? Who is getting paid?
Not being scalable is not really an issue for me as I think this can stay at the same size and be helpful.
For a prop that talks so much about feedback, I’m surprised none was asked.
So I’d welcome this prop again, after it had gathered feedback on these and other issues from the community.
# DCS Pod
## tl;dr ##
DCS is a pod that focuses on bridging the gap between existing off-chain funding options and larger on-chain props. Focused primarily on the sectors of software, arts and IRL with a funding range between 8-25Ξ, our goal is to help builders with a track record scale up within the Nouns ecosystem.
## Overview ##
There currently exists a large gap within the current Nouns funding landscape that creates challenges for Nounish builders in the ecosystem.
On the lower end of the spectrum, there are many options for builders to seek funding for <10Ξ, between NSFW, Prop House, and a number of subDAO efforts (Gnars, SharkDAO, Lil Nouns, etc). On the higher end, there is virtually no limit as we have seen on-chain props go to $1M and beyond.
However, in between these two points there is a gap that continues to grow as we see NSFW, Prop House, and subDAOs prefering to run more experiments with smaller amounts, all the while prominent Nouners are increasingly calling for the DAO to scale upward and not consider on-chain props lower than 20Ξ.
This places builders in a tough spot where they must figure out how to take their concept from point A to point B to achieve escape velocity. This issue is further exacerbated by the closure of the official Nouns Discord server, which will make it harder for the DAO to reach consensus on on-chain props as a governing body.
DCS will focus on working with these builders who have "graduated" from one of the off-chain funding programs and provide them with bridge funding and guidance as they work towards the goal of passing a larger scale on-chain prop with the broader DAO base.
Said a different way, we help builders **Do Cool Sh*t**.

## Pod Details ##
DCS pod members will leverage their Nounish network and experience to guide and work with builders to ensure their further success in the DAO. DCS will act as a working group to ensure our funded builders are provided more than just capital but an active group to collaborate with and build alongside.
**The pod plays a key role in four ways:**
- Creates a stepping stone for off-chain "graduates" on their journey to larger on-chain props, both in terms of financial support and guidance in refining their project
- Provides accountability and additional data points for the broader DAO to consider when the resulting props go on-chain
- Emphasizes a transparent decision making framework that is data-driven and scalable
- Actively works with builders to ensure their further success in the DAO by being a source of active support and guidance helping them move through the roadblocks and challenges they face
**What areas will the pod focus on?**
DCS will focus on key areas where we feel we can provide the most value and help ideas scale quickly. Given the subject matter expertise and experience of pod members, the following areas are our initial focus:
- **Software** - dApps, smart contracts, mobile apps, gaming
- **Arts & Content** - artists, musicians, video and content creators
- **IRL** - local/regional activations, events, and other on-the-ground efforts
**How will the group operate?**
- Props (sourced from off-chain funding programs) will be be submitted to the pod online
- Prop will be discussed on weekly DCS calls
- Prop will be voted on in the DCS Discord
We will work with the operators of the various off-chain funding program to raise visibility for DCS as a "next step" for graduates. We will use Prop House and/or [AddressBoard](https://www.addressform.io/) to receive formal funding requests, so we can ensure proper data collection throughout the process for the DAO.
The pod will convene once a week on an open call to discuss what has been submitted since the last meeting and to discuss additional pipeline developments. These calls will be available to the community. This will foster discussion about props, help engage with builders and elevate the quality of props that get funded. Emphasis will be placed on data-driven processes to ensure greater builder accountability and proper measurement of ROI back to the DAO.
After discussion, pod members will decide which props will be funded by voting on a dedicated Discord channel (or via Prop House platform).
Pod members are required to attend weekly meetings and actively give feedback on props. Pod members can be removed and replaced based on participation (which will be decided by the remaining members of the pod). Pod members will be rotated every 3-6 months in order to spread knowledge, boost decentralization and to ensure the pod is not overly reliant on any single member. A maximum of 2 pod members will be substituted at a time, not to create disruption in the work flow. One pod member will be elected secretary by the pod, and this person will take care of administrative tasks including providing a summary of the meeting in writing, which will be available to the public through the DCS discord.
The committee’s gnosis safe will require 3 of 5 members to sign.
Budget: 126Ξ
Breakdown:
* Props: 75Ξ
* Admin: 51Ξ
* Target prop funding: ranging from ~9x8Ξ - 3x25Ξ projects
* 5 pod members
* Core member: 3Ξ per month
* Secretary: add'l 2Ξ per month
For context, this is 0,4% of our treasury. We are aiming to propose a low-risk/high-reward pod.

If at the end of the 3-month period not enough good props were found and funded, the funds will be returned to the Nouns DAO treasury. I agree with other members when they say this money would be better spent on the community, and builders that populate it. would be cool to see him in noggles, but it should also be genuine from his side.
I believe reformulating how small grants is run would be for the best. A lot of good work has come out of it, but the current scale requires assessing how things have been done, and how can we improve moving forward.
# NounsDAO Brazil
# tl;dr
Build a community to nounify Brazil ⌐◨-◨
# Description
NounsDAO Brazil seeks to introduce Nouns in the diverse cultural manifestations that provide identity and tell the story of our country. Therefore, we want to connect local artists and builders, aiming to create and proliferate Nouns, and collaborate with established Brazilian brands for merch collabs. It is also crucial to onboard those who might not be able to overcome language barriers by distributing content and organizing events in the native language, Portuguese. With that in mind, we are proposing Nouns Week, an event in four capital cities. Our web content can also reach people living in eight other countries besides Brazil. Over 260 million people (3.7% of the world's population) speak Portuguese, the fourth most used language after Mandarin, English, and Spanish.
# What have we done so far? (track record)
1. A contest on NounsDAO Brazil Twitter to nounify Brazilian symbols and memes, offering a prize to three winners. There were 23 submissions, great engagement and a lot of fun.

2. Three proposals approved via Prop House:
- 100 nounish hoodies for homeless people

- 20 Twitter covers for 20 nouns projects

- Nouns OS as an entire Operating System Nouns-Themed for All Things Nouns

3. In a month about 400 Twitter followers at NounsDAO Brazil account.
4. In a week around 100 people are in NounsDAO Brazil discord.
# What do we want to do?
1. Nouns Week Brazil: guerrilla marketing actions to nounify four cities in different regions of the country, with a combined population of over 26 million people.
2. Community: maintain an active Twitter and Discord with an open conversation about new ideas and community needs.
3. NounsDAO grants: guide the Brazilian community on how to write and submit projects for small grants, prop house and nouns proposals. If necessary, we will help with Portuguese to English translation.
4. Noun heads contest: start an art contest on NounsDAO Brazil Twitter to create noun heads with Brazilian motives, offering 2 ETH prize split among 3 winners.
5. Twitter spaces: regular Twitter spaces held in Portuguese to spread awareness, and special spaces in English to give this community access to guests that don't speak Portuguese.
6. Website: create and launch NounsDAO Brazil website.
7. Merch collabs: contact well-established Brazilian brands like [Havaianas](https://havaianas.com.br/), [Melissa](https://www.melissa.com.br/), and [Hering](https://www.hering.com.br/) for a collaboration using noggles in the product's design.

# Nouns Week Brazil
We are planning a Nouns week in October 2022 with simultaneous nounification of four capital cities from north to south of Brazil. The cities are Fortaleza (2,68 million), Rio de Janeiro (6,7 million), São Paulo (12,33 million), and Porto Alegre (4,4 million). Local groups from NounsDAO Brazil will execute the project under the supervision of DAO's founders.

We propose the following for Nouns Week Brazil:
1. Nouns graffiti in São Paulo: we are in talks with local graffiti artists to have noggles containing art done in a central location.
2. Nouns in digital billboard: promote Nouns and NounsDAO Brazil displaying a selection of Nouns during the Nouns Week, in all four cities mentioned above.
3. Floor ads with chalk: have the noggles sprayed on the streets of all four capital cities. Also, ask followers to tweet photos with specific hashtags and reward the ones with the most likes to foster engagement.

4. Posters with Nouns and QR code: place posters with a QR code that will direct to nouns.wtf in all four cities.

5. Stickers: print nouns stickers to put all over the cities and give out to kids.

6. 3-D printed noggles: distribute noggles to be worn by groups during Nouns Week Brazil interventions.
Final budget for Nouns Week Brazil will also include photo and video crew dedicated to document the event for use on social media. All the footage and photos are to be sent to the Marketing Studio cc0 stock.

# Lil Sisters Fund
## tl;dr
This is a proposal to create a Lil Sisters Fund (just like Lil Grants) to allocate fast capital to women and non-binary builders.
## Lil Sisters Fund
As part of our mission of creating an accessible on-ramp to Nouns, we propose establishing a pool of funds to encourage women and non-binary creators, devs, and artists to build with Lil Nouns. This pool of capital will be sent to a Gnosis Safe controlled by a small group of Lil Nouners and Lil Nouns DAO.
***Proposed budget: 38 ETH***
The committee’s gnosis safe will require `3 of 6` Lil Nouners to sign, with Lil Nouns DAO acting as a largely symbolic owner and backup. We recommend keeping the signer group small with a team of experienced signers and then adding more as we scale up operations and the size of the pool.
The initial signers on the Safe will be:
- **B** | thebeautyandthepunk has been around since 2017. She is a co-founder of RiseDAO. RiseDAO aims to train and onboard women from developing economies to the web3 environment. She has been collecting art for many years, and the transition to NFTs was the obvious move forward. Twitter [@beautyandpunk](https://twitter.com/beautyandpunk)
- **Kome** is a member of Lil Nouns DAO and co-founder of RiseDAO and NounsDAO Brazil. Twitter [@KOMESciArt](https://twitter.com/KOMESciArt)
- **mimix** started her crypto/nft journey in April 2021, joined the Nounish ecosystem, and has fallen in love with it and the endless building possibilities that exist within it. Studies medicine, love dogs and enjoy forming part of communities in this amazing ecosystem. Twittter: [@miagiulianag](https://twitter.com/miagiulianag)
- **Pxlmnml** she/her/they/them: has a long career in art and technology. A trained artist and designer, pxl has directed and managed creative teams for some of the biggest websites with global reach pivoted to create a successful jewelry line, has collected, sold, and curated fine art, entered the crypto world in 2017, and discovered the exciting world of NFTs in 2021. All around nounish designer and builder, you can find Pxl active in Nouns, Lil Nouns, Noun Punks, and Gnars to name a few. Twitter [@pxlmnml](https://twitter.com/pxlmnml)
- **Lil Noun 3006/3343** *@profwerder ⌐◨-◨ FloriNouns/TheNounishProf.eth* Prof Werder developed a Blockchain Applications and incorporated an NFT project based on & supported by NounsDao small grants called FloriNouns. - **Al409** is the wonderful person who has helped make this project a reality. He has been building this community, and now is building us up. An honorary member of the Lil Sisters Fund. Twitter [@al409.eth ⌐◨-◨](https://twitter.com/7x7x7eth)
### Why?
Womxn can find it intimidating to join tech communities for the lack of peers, and this fund would provide a welcoming entry to many that might find it difficult to integrate themselves into web3 communities, be them artists, or builders. Womxn have also been historically “late” to tech events (building web1 and web2), so usually have not been able to amount wealth to independently launch their projects. This fund seeks to include more womxn in the building of web3, changing to a more diverse cohort of people.
### Current Progress
With the support of [@al409.eth ⌐◨-◨](https://twitter.com/7x7x7eth) a discord channel for the Lil Sisters has been created, where we were able to find each other, connect and start planning on building. He has also created the multisig for the abovementioned community members. We are now creating a Twitter account to share our mission and updates on the project, so people can know about it and apply, and a Discourse to work on ideas and projects, just as Nouns and Lil Nouns already do.
**Budget breakdown**
- 20 eth to fund proposals of women and non-binary creators.
- 12 eth for social media management and regular meeting organization. The budget is for 6 months of work.
- 6 eth for administration services.
- 20 eth is being deployed to the Lil Sisters multisig which will be used for funding proposals.
- 18 eth will be sent to the Lil Sisters admin multisig which will be used to retroactively fund the lil sisters committee for marketing/operational costs associated with running the program.
*Timeframe*
- 1st week: Lil sisters’ grant proposal writing and submission on-chain.
- 2nd week: if approved, open dialogue with women and non-binary web3 communities.
- 3rd week: 1 eth x 5 first-round submissions with 7 days to propose.
- 4th week: voting and funding proposals
Rounds will run at the discretion of the Lil Sisters group ⌐◨-◨

# WHAT?
# The “11 Nouns as part of the exhibition” is already a done deal!
11 Nouns will be displayed during the event in Rio and on 300+ digital billboards in Rio de Janeiro (6.7 million people) and São Paulo (12.3 million people).
This proposal is for expanding, even more, the exposure that Nouns will have during the event which will be held at Parque Lage (Rio de Janeiro).
Parque Lage is a point of reference for artistic experimentation, research and innovation.
In addition, it is an impressive century-old building in the middle of the largest urban forest in the world (image below).
This proposal is a part of the broader Nouns DAO Brazil initiative led by [B](https://twitter.com/beautyandpunk) (Noun #137) to Nounify Brazil and bring Portuguese language natives into Nouns.
Based on the success of Japan, Art Basel, Nouns in Hong Kong and NounsDAO Amigos, we propose the following:
1. Pay NFT Rio a sponsorship quota as a way of thanking the event for welcoming Nouns. (Nouns in Rio was their pinned tweet for over 1 week).
The quota will also add:
+ Nouns on their website**
+ Mention in NFT.Rio’s social media.
+ 20 minutes of Nouns 101 talk in the sponsors' room (by [Leo Clark](https://twitter.com/leoclark)).
+ Noggles image to be displayed in the institutional video (during the intervals between talks).
+ Tickets for parties (Full PDF with details available).
** As a sign of good faith Nouns have already been added to their website.

2. Photo and video crews dedicated to Nouns to document the event plus the digital billboards in Rio and São Paulo.
+ All the footage and photos are to be sent to the Marketing Studio cc0 stock.
3. Portuguese translation of Nouns.wtf (Done by [Fabio Seva](https://twitter.com/fabioseva)).
4. 1,000 A2 posters around Rio de Janeiro.
+ Like in the Hong Kong and Basel example, posters with QR code are to be spread throughout the city during the event.
5. Art contest on [NounsDAO Brazil](https://twitter.com/NounsDAOBrazil) | [NounsDAO Brasil](https://twitter.com/NounsDaoBrasil).
+ During the event, we will be reaching out to the Brazilian community and promoting a #nounish art contest with a 2 ETH prize split between 5 winners.
We will engage with the NFT community, host Twitter spaces and get them excited to work on Nouns-related art.

[Nouns in Rio - NFTs selection](https://docs.google.com/document/d/194Zf1zMpitWJnV2Y7a3pTyW2_PxMV1fGGKFlYI7Yuho/edit?usp=sharing)
# WHY?
We already have great exposure as part of the exhibition alongside some of the great names in the space**. For a reasonable amount, we can thank them (and get the added bonus of being a part of the sponsors) and gain valuable media, footage/photos, as well as live Noun-pilling the audience and guests.
This will be a defining event for NFTs in Brazil.
This is a great opportunity to proliferate Nouns in Rio, also supporting the work being done with [NounsDAO Brazil](https://twitter.com/NounsDAOBrazil) | [NounsDAO Brasil](https://twitter.com/NounsDaoBrasil).
With the potential to reach millions of people and a very diverse art culture, we believe that Nounify Brazil and NounsDAO Brazil will have a great impact on inspiring and helping local communities, and at the same time bring valuable #nounish builders to Nouns.
** Including artworks from Justin Aversano, XCOPY, WoW and others (see image below)

# Nouns @ Art Basel (Basel, Switzerland)
# tl;dr
Nounify Basel using Guerrilla Marketing during 2 days of the Art Basel fair through various marketing campaigns, tying it up with my ([@beautyandpunk](https://twitter.com/beautyandpunk)) panel at the event.
For that, I’m asking the DAO for 16 ETH.
[B @ Art Basel](https://artbasel.com/events/detail/28655/Conversations-The-New-Patrons-NFT-Collectors-and-Supporters/18954)
# What is Art Basel?

[Art Basel](https://artbasel.com/basel), exhibiting art of the 20th and 21st centuries, is indisputably the world’s leading fair in the international art market. Around 250 selected galleries from around the world present modern and contemporary works of high quality, making the fair the most important temporary museum.
Basel is where the art world meets. Art Basel is a meeting place for artists, art collectors and many celebrities from the art scene. The high-calibre exhibitions showcase various art forms, with both works by modern masters and art by emerging talents. Art Basel brings the art world to life – which is probably why it is so successful.
The 2019 show in Basel attracted 93,000 visitors over six days. It presented 290 galleries from 35 countries, exhibiting the work of over 4,000 artists.
# What do we want to do?
Guerrilla marketing to make Nouns visible throughout the city during the 15th and 16th of June, all done through a marketing agency. How do we want to do that?
+ Give away chocolate! Distribute chocolate in Nouns branded packaging (containing a QR code to direct to nouns.wtf)
+ Floor ads (with chalk): Noggles will be spray painted in 50 placements in various places in the city
[](https://postimg.cc/2qR7w530)
+ Posters: posters containing a Noun and a QR code will be placed around the city either in grids (3x3 and 2x2) or singles.
+ “Thomas Noun Affair” mob: we’ll have 12 people walking around the city wearing the same purple wig I will use for my panel (to maintain my anonymity) and large irl 3D printed Noggles on their heads. This is what I will be wearing at the event, with the difference that I will wear [Salvino D’Armati's](https://twitter.com/SalvinoArmati) creation. This will tie the marketing with a Nouner on Art Basel’s stage.
+ Walking boards LED with QR code: 6 LED Boards with visible QR Code with people walking around the city with it.
Total budget: 16 ETH
Breakdown:
+ chocolate: 1.4 ETH
+ floor ads: 2.4 ETH
+ posters: 2.6 ETH
+ mob: 2.7 ETH
+ 3D printed Noggles: 1.1 ETH
+ walking boards: 4.2 ETH
+ Social Media content creation (film and pictures): 0.3 ETH

# Nouns 3D-printed fashion collection by DANIT: milestones 3+4
# What's in this update?
1. Reporting on deliverables for my initial proposal (milestones 1+2)
2. New proposal for milestones 3+4
3. Potential opportunity with Metaverse fashion week
# Reporting on the progress on my initial proposal
### I have completed milestones #1 and #2 (Research + Design) for which I got funded in my [initial proposal](https://nouns.wtf/vote/26).
### Here’s the final sketch for the collection’s 7 outfits, each of them inspired by a different noun which I liked:

### I am making progress with patternmaking, modeling and rendering the outfits (milestone #3). Here is my process, if you’re curious:

### I have also started testing prints (milestone #4), which I think the community has been really excited about (check out this Twitter[ thread](https://twitter.com/danitpeleg3d/status/1486019979879358466)!):

## Roadmap & Progress:
1. ☑ **Research** - Inspiration board, material research, printing samples
2. ☑ **Design** - sketches
3. **STARTED**: **Patternmaking/Rendering/Modeling** - 3D modeling the sketches into 3D-printable files
4. **STARTED**: **Print Testing** - testing many different types of printers, configurations, materials etc
5. **-> NEW (potential) milestone: Participate in Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW)**
6. **Printing finals** - printing the entire collection
7. **Assembling** - using different techniques (e.g. gluing, knotting, etc) to assemble the collection together
8. **Photoshoot** (with real-life models) - for press materials, websites, AR filter etc
9. **Runway show** - either invited to showcase at an event like nft.nyc, fashion weeks etc'
10. **Marketing** - prepare press kit, the collection get PR, is booked for events, and showcases galleries & museums
### 3DP research
I have a partnership with a lab where we create all kind of filaments for 3D-printing textiles. We will be developing special filaments for the collection’s color palette. More on this in the next update!
# New proposal for: milestone 3+4 - Patternmaking, Rendering & Modeling, as well as continued Print Testing
I am working with 3 different experts for this part of the project:
* **Patternmaking**: I have partnered with [Optitex](https://optitex.com/), a leading fashion design software company, who are working with me on patternmaking for the colleciton free of charge.
* **Modeling**: I am working with a very talented modeler to turn my sketches and the patterns into 3D files that are printable.
* **Rendering**: I am working with a brilliant 3D designer to create beautiful renderings of the collection, to be used in the Metaverse, or with potential 3D-printable NFTs, and generally to market the collection in the digital realm.
**Here is an example of what a model looks like (these files will be used for 3D printing):**

**Here is what Rendering looks like:**

Here's the budget for these milestones:
* **Modeling 7 outfits (15 items):** 7 ETH
* **Rendering 7 outfits (15 items)**: 2.3 ETH
* **Prints tests**: 1 ETH
* **My work (around 3 months)** 7.6 ETH
* **Total** = 17.9 ETH
This would bring the project up to now to a total spend of 21.05 ETH (3.15 + 17.9), which is approx $63K in USD value. I now expect the total cost of the project to be around $100-150K, depending on printing costs and marketing costs (mainly photoshoot/runway).
Thank you all for the support. This must be one of the most exciting projects I have worked on!
Stay Nounish!
