I like the passion and the vibes, but I think we'd be spending too much for the amount of views and distribution we'd receive. Given the amount of capital Lils is generating right now, it's just too big of a spend for us, in my opinion.
I’ve been traveling/camping over the past week, so I haven’t had a chance to dig into this prop in detail. At first glance, I largely agree with what Beans said in his VWR: the impact doesn’t seem scalable relative to the cost. It also feels like the prop may be trying to do too many things at once, though I’ll admit I don’t have much context yet.
I’d be open to reconsidering after more time to discuss the prop in VC.
I’d like to see a V2 of this proposal.
I’m not convinced starting at 1,000 GIFs is the right scope. I’d rather see a smaller, more curated batch first with a strong quality bar and much clearer category focus before scaling up further.
My biggest concerns are category focus and avoiding repetitive or low-effort edits. I’d like to see a more defined breakdown of the types of GIFs being prioritized and the overall creative direction behind them.
I’d still like to see a lot more examples beyond the single dog-sniffing GIF, which didn’t seem at the same level as some of the stronger Nounish GIF work already out there. I think at least 10 examples would help voters better evaluate the creative direction and overall quality.
I do like the cadence of releasing the GIFs over time instead of dropping everything at once. That approach makes sense.
I agree with the broader goal here. Lil Nouns should absolutely have a stronger GIF/reaction presence across the interwebs
If this version doesn’t pass, I think a tighter V2 with stronger examples and a more defined creative direction could absolutely get broader support. I’d be happy to help champion that version and help rally votes around it.
I appreciate Chompix’s passion and desire to contribute to the DAO, but it seems esports wants little to do with Lil Nouns, and maybe web3 more broadly.
There are better places to troll for reactions...this ain't it. Also, comparing Lil Nouns to Nouns DAO ignores the obvious: Nouns runs one auction per day. Totally different dynamics
Excellent work, but I don’t see any connection to Lil Nouns in this proposal. Also, this represents nearly half of our projected annual inflow. Too expensive imo

> Feels like we don't need two admins for 2026 based on number of props, etc.. Would prefer a single admin who does 100% of the work, with a $0 reserve admin that stepped in to propose to cancel the lead admins stream and transfer it to themselves if/when that became necessary (disappearing or increased workload).
Agreed—this is a great initiative to educate people about Lil Nouns. A video on “Why Own a Lil?” is a great idea as well. If it passes, I’d love to see it uploaded to Drew’s YouTube channel to expand distribution and improve discoverability.

> Content besides art we can actually use and show people to onboard them to lils? yes, please.
>
> This is the type of content we need, imo -- Drews been doing a great job with his content and building his audience and style. He's come back to pitch us a modest sized prop (after some of us asked him to) to create content that can be used to spark interest in the dao. Seems like a W and honestly need more people coming in, listening to needs, and helping filling gaps.. rather than just wanting funding to do 'whatever they want to do' that may benefit them more than the overall DAO.

> We have no up-to-date explainers on how any of this works in video form. It's time to create some of this content.

I appreciate the proactiveness and initiative Pipe consistently brings to Nouns. He was also generous in delegating a Noun to me last year, which gave me my first opportunity to participate in Nouns governance. Pipe has delivered on many proposals and created positive outcomes for the DAO; however, this is a proposal I can’t support.
There are a few reasons for this. First, I’d like to see the Ice Cream Truck come to fruition before moving forward, given that it was a significant allocation for lils. Second, learning more about the Mog situation left a sour taste and reflects poorly on the DAO at large. Third, as Bix noted, there are no clear deliverables outlined for this salaried role.
Glitch sounds rad, but the prop doesn’t explain clearly what Nouns would get for 20k USDC. The Nouns track and deliverables aren’t defined enough to support the spend imo

grant-application:-crowdfunding-module-for-conditional-funding-market-(cfm)This gives nouns DAO a new tool to make decisions faster via market driven feedback and help spend funds effectively. I dig the idea of prediction markets powering better outcomes for nouns.

Quick update…I’ve been hitting some roadblocks with editing these videos, and I’m really sorry it’s taken so long to get them out. I was honestly close to returning the funds, but I’ve since contracted an editor to help move things forward.
Appreciate your patience. More to come soon!

> Gave feedback on public call about having lils art more than nouns being sponsors as it would match even better with narrative of yall going as kids to that place
