This project comes from a hackahton where part of the rules was to be open source, you should be able to see the repo at github.com/refi-starter/swipe-pad, we would do a new folders for main net and nouns category we are proposing, we are open source developers. For possible further development could be tailor to the community needs and be open source. @0x6fB5...83b0 hi @peterpandam.eth it is actually a community App for the Public Good community of Gitcoin who every 3 months we gather and put some funds together to donate to projects, the 3 months gap is too long for many of the projects. So this app comes in the middle of it gives the change for builders, environmentalist, artists to get an extra option for funding. We also added different use cases like matching pools, community pools where not only users but protocols like Octant with a very robust treasury, or Stablecoin protocols, can use this dapp as a vehicle for adoption, and to generate transactions fees. Web3 companies have a customer acquisition budget and retention budget, where those can be part of this app. All the user cases and options we propose are well researched. Even L1 and L2 have grants to empower builders, creators. This is the idea of this dapp, we can approach many people and companies to run their own micro-funding campaigns. Also the enormous trading volume amount in meme coins is the worst way to loose money which maybe user get tired of that and prefer to give me %5 degens gamble into impact-oriented projects, all this with 1 swipe after connecting the wallet through thirdweb3 which is the same wallet provider as safe global, so users arae safu. We would like to compare it more to Patreon tbh, nowadays the most used apps on web2 are all about swiping between profiles, horizontal swipe and vertical swipe, and if most of the people with smartphone is already used to that, our idea was to adapting that ux to web3 + public good and good causes. And as Nouns has an important and actual remarkable track record on funding good causes, to though and think it is a good match. This Tuesday and this Thursday both team members would join the Space and Discord to discuss more about it and narrow a scope in case this prop passes. We thank you all again. We are all ears and yes SwipePad can absolutely be adapted for many use-cases, including a flow for rating/voting on art projects (swipe right to like art or left to see next one, swipe down to dislike) things like that, it can also track proposal, review execution or proof of delivery for projects, and rewarding builders for progress. One of our goals is to make project impact and engagement more transparent, so the community has a simple way to follow along. Regarding integrations: we see strong potential with Nounspace, Crafts, and other ecosystem division. It can serve to documenting project milestones directly inside SwipePad, it can serve as both a progress tracker and an engagement hub. Tips — 100% adding features like tipping in $NOUNS or rewarding engagement is definitely aligned with our vision and the User does that on a swipe for easy user experience. We want to make it easy and fun for the community to support builders, artists, and public goods. And for supporters to select and supervise the work of the projects they support. For example another partners or protocols can join a matching pool for quadratic funding and things like that. All these use-cases and features are possible, but tbh those can come after the initial phase as it requires more work for us to complete.
