Dubai was nothing short of amazing. The team training hard individually and then coming back together, qualifying in 4 out of 5 categories and winning one of them demonstrates that together we are a force to be reckon with. The impact we made as well as what this trip meant for us is something we can't describe in words, but we are sure the pictures and videos speak for themselves.

**Connections after the event**
The organization really enjoyed having us and was really happy with our performance during the trip. After the event we got offered to do a preliminary qualifier in Latin American for their [next edition in 2026](https://www.instagram.com/p/DShWQsGDWpH/?igsh=MWV3NmIxZzNkdDkxdQ%3D%3D) where the winners of the bboy and bgirl category will go to the Dubai finals on Decemeber 2026. This qualifier happened in Brazil in April of 2026 and was succesfully hosted by [Bboy Perninha.](https://www.instagram.com/bboyperninha94?igsh=MW5obnZhc2R4czVzcA%3D%3D)
# **Short documentray premiere**
We had a very succesfull and intimate first screening of our short documentary **"NOUNS BREAKERS ⌐◨-◨ A Movement"** with our Nouns community members and enthusiasts on September 9th 2026 during the [Nouns Amigos](https://farcaster.xyz/~/channel/nouns-amigos) weekly discord call. We had over 40 people in attendance receiving incredible feedback and messages of encouragement for the team and the production behind.

# Nouns Breakers in Dubai: An invitation to elevate Breaking and Nouns on the World Stage
## We are excited to share incredible news: Our professional breakdancing team has been officially invited to compete at the Dubai Open Breaking Championship—our very first invitation to compete internationally as a team.
In just two years since our founding, we’ve built a collective that consistently represents at the highest level of global competition. This past summer, despite limited resources, half of our team traveled to Europe where each member placed in the Top 16, with a standout victory from [Bboy Perninha who won the Cypher Cat battle at Outbreak Slovakia ](https://x.com/nounsbreakers/status/1954821509337555196/video/1)after four years as a finalist.
Now, being recognized and invited to Dubai is a milestone that validates our dedication, artistry, and the impact we are creating in the international Breaking community. Competing alongside legendary crews from around the world is not only an honor but also an opportunity to showcase the talent, culture, and resilience of dancers from Mexico, the U.S., Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil, and Ecuador that are in our team.
To make this dream possible, we are seeking $22,600 in support to help cover travel expenses for our 8 dancers. Your support will directly empower underrepresented voices in global culture, open doors for new generations of breakers, and spotlight the strength of international collaboration through hip hop and blockchain.

- **Public Goods: Nouns Restoration Project** With this funding we will improve practice facilities in different public spaces of 3 Latin American cities. These renovations will create more access to proper and safe spaces for young breakers to practice, ultimately elevating their growth and ability to compete nationally and internationally. These communities deserve the resources and space to gather.
- **Guiding the Next Generation: Nouns Breakers Kids TV and Kids Camp** This program will create access for the younger generation to train with some of the world's top competitive/visionary breakers IRL and online. Based on the tools and values that can lead to professional Breaking practices, the camps will support both urban and rural communities in person and also the virtual channel edition will provide widespread early education in breaking.

The Nouns Breakers bootcamp/retreat is about leveling up as a team! Through focused team practices, we’ll fine-tune skills needed to crush our competition and deliver our best performance. Bootcamp will be under the strict regimen of [US Olympic athlete Jeffro](https://www.instagram.com/jeffrorad/), Olympic [Bronze medalist Victor](https://www.instagram.com/supamontalvo/) and legendary Bboy Remind.
Having the ***US Olympic team experience*** with the systems of judging battle formated competitions, mixed with coach Remind's groundbreaking methodology will bring a well-rounded regiment of athleticism, artistry and strategy for our training trajectory. This retreat is not only about improving as individual competitors, it is the opportunity for us to unify as an unstoppable team. We will come out of training ready to rise to any challenge and dominate competitions.

Our competition tour calendar is comparable to last years, focused on international, high-level platforms. The breaking competition network that produces these events is always evolving and expanding and we will participate in the events that are key for the team’s representation locally and globally.

# Nouns Restoration Project and Inaugural Community Jams
## Restoration Project
During its 50 year evolution, Breaking has grown a street subculture into a globally recognized sport. When it comes to Breaking today, North American and European regions have access to top-notch facilities which create the chance for kids to advance as competitors. Latin America lacks these resources as kids train mostly in public spaces like parks and streets.
By revitalizing 3 carefully selected public spaces across Latin America, young Breakers from these areas will be forever impacted. With the proper infrastructure, dancers will be better equipped to train and fulfill their potential. Many of today’s world-class breakers started in local parks or community centers. By revitalizing such spaces, we will contribute to a higher number of Latin American dancers competing on the global Breaking platform.
“Parque 20 de Julio” is an example of a potential site for restoration in Bogota, Colombia. The current deteriorated track was once the practice spot for an intergenerational community of breakers. [Bboy Marsue](https://warpcast.com/marsue) will lead the revitalization project to ensure the goals are met to transform and Nounify this legendary spot.

## Inaugural Community Jams
Just as we value touring internationally to major jams, it is also vital to attend and support in local gatherings. Smaller scale jams are the foundation of our dance competition ecosystem. These more intimate events facilitate space for meaningful connections and are typically the setting that inspired most of our personal journeys in Breaking.
Last year we did a trial of partial funding towards three local jams, one in [Colombia](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCVUBIZIydm/?igsh=ZGUzMzM3NWJiOQ%3D%3D) and two in [Brazil.](https://www.instagram.com/p/DEG0BL2phwM/?igsh=ZGUzMzM3NWJiOQ%3D%3D) We are confident in the results and would use a similar approach in our own curation of three inaugural jams, which are scheduled to take place at each **newly restored site of the Restoration Project.** These jams will not only act as a celebration of the restored public space but will serve as a collaborative effort with each respective community. This model of community event engagement empowers local communities to repeat such events going forward, encouraging longevity of community organizing and unity.
# Nouns Breakers Kids TV and Kids Camp
## Kids TV
This initiative will create a children's program focused on providing a digital education of Breaking. Early learners can explore movement, allowing them to discover new physical and creative abilities.
Geared but not limited towards the Spanish-speaking world, this program led by [Olympic ranker Bgirl Isis](https://x.com/nounsbreakers/status/1821360301629182086) will reach globally while promoting inclusive learning, collaboration and creativity for its channel participants (translation resources will be provided).
*Deliverables* Short Term: Publish 4 educational videos per month, 3 to 5 minutes duration.
Long Term: An operating public channel with thousands of viewers sustained through the monetization of the platform and sale of products, growing our audience around the world.

This three day dance intensive is focused on training new generations in Breaking while illuminating the importance of Breaking history and vocabulary. Co-founders [Monse](https://warpcast.com/monsecahue/0x876705a3) and [Niño](https://warpcast.com/ninonino/0xd58b1fdd), in collaboration with highly skilled professionals within the Hip Hop scene, will share theoretical/practical classes that utilize play and games. This training will aim at creative, technical, physical, and mental development necessary to thrive as an artist and athlete.
This camp will encourage the understanding of artistry and competition, preparing students for the stamina and lifestyle of Breaking as a profession.
The final day battle will award a Bboy and Bgirl winner with a scholarship to attend the Youth is the Future Camp in Slovakia 2025, a camp notable for having the strongest youth Breaking program in the world. - **Team Goal: Nouns Breakers Competition Tour & Team Bootcamp** To support our growth, level up and team development, Noun Breakers Bootcamp will provide our dancers elite training while strengthening our team bond. Similar to last year, we will be competing to top competitions across the world.
- **Public Goods: Nouns Restoration Project** With this funding we will improve practice facilities in different public spaces of 3 Latin American cities. These renovations will create more access to proper and safe spaces for young breakers to practice, ultimately elevating their growth and ability to compete nationally and internationally. These communities deserve the resources and space to gather.
- **Guiding the Next Generation: Nouns Breakers Kids TV and Kids Camp** This program will create access for the younger generation to train with some of the world's top competitive/visionary breakers IRL and online. Based on the tools and values that can lead to professional Breaking practices, the camps will support both urban and rural communities in person and also the virtual channel edition will provide widespread early education in breaking.

# Nouns Restoration Project and Inaugural Community Jams
## Restoration Project
During its 50 year evolution, Breaking has grown a street subculture into a globally recognized sport. When it comes to Breaking today, North American and European regions have access to top-notch facilities which create the chance for kids to advance as competitors. Latin America lacks these resources as kids train mostly in public spaces like parks and streets.
By revitalizing 3 carefully selected public spaces across Latin America, young Breakers from these areas will be forever impacted. With the proper infrastructure, dancers will be better equipped to train and fulfill their potential. Many of today’s world-class breakers started in local parks or community centers. By revitalizing such spaces, we will contribute to a higher number of Latin American dancers competing on the global Breaking platform.
“Parque 20 de Julio” is an example of a potential site for restoration in Bogota, Colombia. The current deteriorated track was once the practice spot for an intergenerational community of breakers. [Bboy Marsue](https://warpcast.com/marsue) will lead the revitalization project to ensure the goals are met to transform and Nounify this legendary spot.

## Inaugural Community Jams
Just as we value touring internationally to major jams, it is also vital to attend and support in local gatherings. Smaller scale jams are the foundation of our dance competition ecosystem. These more intimate events facilitate space for meaningful connections and are typically the setting that inspired most of our personal journeys in Breaking.
Last year we did a trial of partial funding towards three local jams, one in [Colombia](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCVUBIZIydm/?igsh=ZGUzMzM3NWJiOQ%3D%3D) and two in [Brazil.](https://www.instagram.com/p/DEG0BL2phwM/?igsh=ZGUzMzM3NWJiOQ%3D%3D) We are confident in the results and would use a similar approach in our own curation of three inaugural jams, which are scheduled to take place at each **newly restored site of the Restoration Project.** These jams will not only act as a celebration of the restored public space but will serve as a collaborative effort with each respective community. This model of community event engagement empowers local communities to repeat such events going forward, encouraging longevity of community organizing and unity.

This initiative will create a children's program focused on providing a digital education of Breaking. Early learners can explore movement, allowing them to discover new physical and creative abilities.
Geared but not limited towards the Spanish-speaking world, this program led by [Olympic ranker Bgirl Isis](https://x.com/nounsbreakers/status/1821360301629182086) will reach globally while promoting inclusive learning, collaboration and creativity for its channel participants (translation resources will be provided).

Many of today’s world-class breakers started their journey in local parks or community centers and by preserving these spaces, we can help put dancers from these countries on the same level as the global Breaking platform.
A great example is this park in Bogota, Colombia. Where we will revitalize a track that has deteriorated but once was the practice spot for multiple generations of breakers. # The Streets Ask for Change:
## “Join a crew not a gang” - Jalpan, Queretaro, Mexico
Made for indigenous communities to give access to young people and children who otherwise wouldn’t have the chance to learn and practice Breaking. This program will:
- Generate a multi-generational network engaged in cultural exchange
- Provide an alternative path for new generations in an active and healthy lifestyle
- Teach conflict transformation and cultural collaboration through physical, social and creative development
For 6 months, the project will be documented with photos and videos that show its impact and progress, culminating in a collaborative teacher-student showcase in a public square for the community.
Team member [Bboy Cirujano](https://warpcast.com/cirujanokdt/0x0ae4cd15) will lead this initiative and is a well-versed coach with 17 years of experience. His coaching has fostered Breakers with recognition around the world.

The Olympics, a bigger Nouns Breakers team taking over Europe and Nouns Town!
Thanks to the high score accumulated by our Olympic ranking team members, we got invitation from the Breaking federation to attend the Paris 2024 Olympics. At the beginning of the year, tickets for the Breaking competitions we're sold out instantly alongside track & field, tennis, gymnastics etc. so we lost every hope of attending initially. Thanks to this opportunity gained by our athletes great performances and the support of Nouns; core members Bgirl Monse, Bboy NiñoNino & Andrea decided to load up on swag and Nounify Paris in this once in a lifetime experience.

Don't let the media fool you. BREAKING at Paris was LIT! We witnessed a level never seen before. Not only that, it was super cool to see the Olympians and the breaking community already be familiar with Nouns thanks to all the competitions our team had attended in the previous years representing Nouns. **Taking over Europe summer 2024!**

**Noun Town 2024**
We had the fortune of being invited to the biggest ALL Nounish event in the history of Nouns. We got to perform on day 1 of Nouns Town LA at Secret Walls. Not only we had a blast and got to meet in person many nouners for the first time, but also some of the members of the team met for the very first time. Vibes where high!!!!

We are aware that the hype and global recognition for Breaking skyrocketed since **tickets to see the new [ official Olympic sport at Paris 2024](https://x.com/lomelinandrea/status/1664780096090292224?s=20) sold out in less than 2 hours,** and of course **Nouns Breakers** ain’t missing any of it. From local to major and worldwide competitions, our athletes have been non stop working to achieve their dreams and bringing Nouns to the biggest stages.
With the support of Nouns we can change the narrative by help financing high-performance athletes to focus solely on training and perfecting their craft, and thus achieve better results in their up and coming careers.
## OUR GOALS
* We aim to etch our names in history as the first breaking athletes to carry the Nouns banner by reaching a scene that has existed AND resisted for 50 years.
* Compete at top events like [RedBull BC One](https://x.com/nounsbreakers/status/1747750731292242209?s=20) where finals every year reach over 1 million views.
* Provide free breaking workshops and web3 onboarding in the communities of each team member.

* Keep scoutting for top level Bgirls and Bboys from different parts of the globe to join the Nouns team.

## **Schedule of main breaking competitions**
We made a list of the top competitions for the Summer/Spring world breaking season. More dates and events still to be confirmed, and are already included in the budget.
*Attendance of athletes to events depends on invitation, competition format, visa status or other factors.
## Budget
We're requesting **45 ETH** for the first season of Nouns Breakers. This budget will empower us to focus on our preparation and performance at competitions, while also ensuring that ***Nouns visibility is magnified worldwide.***
- **30 ETH:** Flights, accommodation and competition registration costs for Nouns Breakers athletes to events over the course of 6 months.
- **4 ETH:** Nouns branded competition uniforms and warm up gear for all Nouns Breakers athletes + distribution to 4 different countries.
- **2.5 ETH:** Professional photography and videography done at live events and practice sessions.
- **3 ETH:** Social media management for major platforms: Tik Tok, Instagram, X and YouTube. (TikTok & Youtube will be created upon approval of proposal)
- **2.5 ETH:** Studio rentals to hold workshops and onboarding programs in the communities of each team member.
- **3 ETH:** Team management to oversee competition scheduling, travel coordination and logistics.
