Hi Lucas, didn't see your email address. I liked your Slack! I installed it too. Very well done. My thoughts on the project - since I posted it I explored a simpler wallet less solution because high TX costs with BTC could kill the idea of small payments ($7 for a $200 payment is just not reasonable). So allow for other currencies such as ETH for example. The encrypted storage would be user.id -> ETH: /address BTC; address maybe even FIAT accounts. Payment would be off-slack but confirmation via a lookup on etherscan or blockchain info etc... I was looking at botkit. Whether it would be good to build a generic solution not just Slack based. Improve SlackbotHave an existing slackbot which needs improving. Currently based on the ** blocktrail.com ** api. Part 1 The weakness of this is that each wallet in the channel can be managed by the owner of the API key. There is nothing to stop anyone with the API Key from emptying out the funds. How can this be secured? Part 2 I want to introduce a command escrow which is the same as the existing pay command but delays payment based on the involvement of a third user (moderator) who is chosen by both users. Like this: @user1 = originator types /bot escrow 0.01 BTC to @user2 moderator @user3 slack returns uniqueid slack asks @user2 to confirm escrow and moderator slack asks @user3 to confirm escrow and moderator Then when work is done @user1 release escrow <ID> @user2 release escrow <ID> @user3 release escrow <ID> 2 out of 3 will release payment to @user2
