with emerge we have proven that when you introduce personalization into the content, I.e. letting the user set their own prompts or reference images or use their pfps, people are way more engaged with the content they are receiving. We also added something to the prop that will allow creators to create their own "filters" based on their original works that lets them monetize their artistic styles similar to the thesis with what Burnt toast is doing. I understand people who are creator aligned want to dismiss Ai as slop but that is a short sided way to think imo. Ai is inevitable and there are ethical ways to extend an artists style and creation using it that opens up new paths toward sustaining ones art career and scaling throughput exponentially.

When a user selects an artist's filter to generate their output, the revenue from that generation is split with the contributing artist.
How it works:
Each participating artist provides a curated set of sample images that represent their signature style. We will partner with 5 artists from the Nouns community to create exclusive "Artist Filters" — unique Nounify styles trained on samples of each artist's original work. When a user selects an artist's filter to generate their output, the revenue from that generation is split with the contributing artist.
How it works:
Each participating artist provides a curated set of sample images that represent their signature style. Our AI researcher uses those samples to train a dedicated filter within the NanoBanana pipeline, so the outputs carry that artist's distinctive aesthetic while still being unmistakably Nouns. Users browsing the app will see the artist filters alongside the default Nounify style and can choose whichever resonates with them.
Artist Revenue Share:
When a user spends credits on a generation using an artist filter, 50% of the credit revenue from that generation goes directly to the contributing artist. This is handled automatically via on-chain split contracts — the artist doesn't need to invoice anyone or chase payments. Every time someone picks their filter, they earn.

10 hours at $75/hr. Our AI researcher will develop a NanoBanana-based workflow and system prompt with curated sample images trained to Nounify images at a high quality. This is the core R&D that ensures every output looks authentically Nouns.
Engineering (3 Engineers) — $10,000
One junior contract engineer at $2,000/month and two senior engineers (frontend and backend/AI) at $4,000/month each. This team builds the full app, backend systems, smart contract infrastructure for NFT minting, and the payment and split contract architecture.
UX/UI Design — $750
5 hours at $150/hr. Our UI designer will design the complete user experience of the app, including user flows, interaction patterns, and a Nouns-branded design system built in collaboration with community artists.
Hosting & AI Compute (12 months) — $2,000
$200/month covering cloud infrastructure, AI model inference compute, database hosting, and CDN. This ensures the platform stays fast and reliable for the full support period.

Revenue Model & DAO Value
Nounify Studio is designed to be a sustainable, revenue-generating asset for the Nouns DAO — not a one-time expenditure. All credit purchases are routed through on-chain split contracts with a clear revenue share:
Nouns DAO Treasury receives 20% of all credit purchase revenue.
Emerge Labs Corporation receives 80% of all credit purchase revenue.
This means the DAO earns ongoing revenue from every non-holder who uses the platform. As Nounify Studio grows and more users purchase credits to create Nouns-style content, the DAO's treasury receives a continuous stream of income — turning a $17,500 investment into a potentially self-funding marketing and cultural proliferation engine.
Free Tier for Holders: Nouns holders and Lil Nouns holders (verified on-chain at the time of generation) receive 3 free outputs per day for the full 12-month support period. This ensures that the core community always has frictionless access to the tool, while non-holders purchasing credits generate revenue for both Emerge Labs and the DAO.
NFT Collection on Base: Every generated output is automatically minted to a dedicated NFT collection on Base. Each NFT links back to the original input image and the Nounified output, creating a permanent on-chain record. Users can view their NFTs on Basescan and OpenSea, and share direct links on social media.

Emerge's backend is built on top of EmProps, a proprietary AI workflow automation platform with 3+ years of development. This isn't a wrapper on top of an API call — it's a sophisticated orchestration layer that manages ComfyUI pipelines, multi-model inference (Stable Diffusion, Flux, Gemini, and open-source models), job queuing with Redis, and automated payment splitting via smart contracts.
Building a competing product from scratch would take years. We've already done the hard work and battle-tested it with real users at scale.

Why This Matters for This Proposal
We're not asking the Nouns DAO to fund a prototype from an unproven team. We're asking you to fund a branded deployment of technology and infrastructure that already exists and is already generating revenue. The core AI pipeline, the payment infrastructure, the smart contract architecture, the user-facing app framework — all of it is built. What this proposal funds is the Nouns-specific customization: the AI style training, the Nouns-branded interface, the NFT collection on Base, and 12 months of dedicated support.

Future Scope: Analytics Dashboard
We want to be transparent that measuring the social impact of Nounify Studio is critically important. We are leaving the door open for a secondary proposal to be submitted at a later date to build:
On-chain analytics tracking the growth of the Nounify NFT collection on Base
Social interaction and impression tracking across X, Farcaster, and other share networks
A public-facing analytics dashboard measuring UGC output volume, social reach, and DAO revenue generated
Attribution tracking to quantify how many new wallets and users are entering the Nouns ecosystem via Nounify
This analytics infrastructure is explicitly out of scope for this proposal but represents a natural and valuable follow-on investment once the platform is live and generating data.
