# FEY - Trade with superpowers [![Watch the intro video](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/BJXruXMvze.png "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiPv16LQEPM")](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiPv16LQEPM) Authored by [Sam](https://x.com/SamScolari) & [Wiz](https://x.com/0xWiz_) **TLDR** We are looking to partner with Nouns on the launch of [FEY](https://fey.trade), our new agentic trading app that reimagines what market participation looks like as AI becomes the interface for everything, including finance. With this partnership we are requesting **$360,000** to help fund the launch and growth of the product. In return, we want to give the DAO a stake in the upside by committing 30% of our entire trading fee revenue to purchase up to **$540,000** worth of Nouns at auction. Additionally, we plan to tastefully include information about Nouns and its branding throughout the FEY experience: - Make the default profile pic for accounts a random Noun - "Funded by Nouns" branding in app and website - Regular inclusion in FEY marketing material ![Funded by Nouns](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/Hkn_vMMDGe.png) FEY is currently in private beta. Join the [Discord](https://discord.com/invite/feytrade) or DM [@feytrade](https://x.com/feytrade) on X for access. We will prioritize access for members of the Nouns community. ## Why and How it works We have spent the past few years working closely with frontier AI models, using them to build real products and long running systems. That experience changed our view of what software can do. The best models are no longer just tools that answer a question. With the right environment, they can observe, reason, and keep working toward a goal. We started asking what that would look like for participating in markets. Trading moves quickly, reacts to the world, and rarely fits a fixed workflow. A useful trading agent needs to understand what is happening, decide what to watch, and return when something changes. FEY is built around that idea. It gives an AI a live trading environment, with market data, portfolio context, and the ability to act within the limits a user approves. Instead of only responding when prompted or running on a simple schedule, FEY can react to the market itself. That is why FEY feels alive, and why trading with it feels like **trading with superpowers.** ![FEY Overview](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/r1Uz7MGDGx.png) ## Use Cases The following example shows how FEY can adapt to the user, the market, and the context of a conversation during a volatile moment. ### Buy the sell off, not a falling knife FEY monitors live market conditions and interprets them in real time to decide when there is a defensible basis for a trade. Rather than waiting for a scheduled check or reacting to a single trigger, it can recognize higher order signals, like a bullish divergence as it forms, and use them to identify shifts in momentum or signs that a selloff is losing strength. ### A DCA that can think FEY can start building a position over time. Instead of a fixed schedule, FEY can look at more than just the chart, including market news, upcoming events, and how related markets are moving, before choosing how to enter. It's a DCA that can think. ### When the trade changes FEY is designed to work with the way you trade. You tell it what matters: a position, a market, a level, or a risk you are watching. It turns that conversation into the conditions it should monitor in the background and returns when something meaningful changes. Over time, you can build your own edge around the signals, ideas, and strategies that matter to you. ## Market Onchain trading and prediction markets are already large, and they are growing quickly. - HIP 3 monthly volume grew from roughly $756 million in October 2025 to $62.5 billion in May 2026. - Lighter grew from $138 million to $39.8 billion over a similar period. - Combined Kalshi and Polymarket volume rose from under $1 billion in July 2024 to $23.8 billion in April 2026. ![Monthly volume for onchain trading and prediction markets since June 2024](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/BkqWzMfDMe.png) *Monthly volume in USD from June 2024, Sources: Hyperliquid public API, The Block/DefiLlama, Pew Research Center/The Block.* Market participants are becoming more informed, more active, and more willing to manage their own financial exposure. They need tools that give them the same kind of advantage Codex gives software developers: a capable agent that can understand what is changing and help them act. **FEY is built for that world.** It gives users a frontier model inside a live trading environment, with real time market data, a full computer, persistent storage, and the ability to create new tools as the situation demands. It is not limited to a few fixed trading workflows. **FEY is an always on trading assistant for people who want more control over their investments.** ## Team ![Sam and Wiz](https://hackmd-prod-images.s3.ap-northeast-1.amazonaws.com/uploads/upload_026b64216804f467338a6f533cbc3b91.gif?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIA3XSAAW6AWSKNINWO&Expires=1787081040&Signature=QgTIwzuak7akiC5jF7RjA3b6amc%3D) We have both been part of Nouns since the early days, and we have worked together for years. We refreshed the brand and shifted our focus to giving AI the tools to understand and participate in markets. ![Twitter header - 9](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/BJ0aImfwMl.png) ## Revenue Structure Right now, FEY generates revenue from a monthly subscription and the following trading fee rates: | Plan | Perps | Spot | | ---- | ----- | ----- | | Free | 0.10% | 1.00% | | Pro | 0.01% | 0.50% | We are launching with support for perpetual and spot trading through [Lighter](https://lighter.xyz/), and we expect to integrate more ways to trade in the future such as: - Prediction markets - Onchain tokens & NFTs - Tokenized Stocks & RWAs These markets can support higher trading fees and create additional revenue beyond perpetuals. As we expand the number of assets users can trade trade, the amount of revenue that can flow back into Nouns increases. ## Ask We are seeking a $360,000 grant to accelerate FEY through launch, half upfront and another half streamed over the next 6 months. The grant will fund product development, security audits, and the systems needed to operate a realtime trading product at scale. ### Why This Amount FEY is a real business, and the highest leverage use of capital will change as we move through launch, learn from users, and scale the product. We are not asking Nouns to fund a fixed line item budget. We are asking for the runway to invest where it matters most: product, security, infrastructure, and distribution. The purpose of this grant is to give FEY the flexibility to reach product market fit and scale when the opportunity is there. ![FEY](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/S192HQzvMg.png)fey---trade-with-superpowersFix stream length

+1 > Id gladly spend 1M on 10 hyper-determined teams each trying to fix Nouns in their own way. All wont work out, but maybe one of them actually manage to right the ship and change the trajectory of Nouns. > > So while I also dont think Flows is the sole project capable of changing trajectory of Nouns, I do think its the correct mindset to have. > > Im not sure Flows will succeed in their mission. Hard things are rarely certain. But I think those are the type of inwards-looking investments we should bet on and encourage.
+1 > Repeating my Nouncil vwr here: I’m voting For BUT with one caveat— bixbite should not be engaging outside attorneys. Any info obtained & any recommendations should be sent to the DUNA admins for further action with the attorneys we already have especially since that would be the only way to take actual legal action and there may be other concerns that need consideration. > > Also a general note - if there are any props that threaten our legal status as has been suggested by some, it's on our DUNA Admins and attorneys to flag that and use the the veto if needed. > > For some reason, Wylin called me out in his comment and just want to clarify that by "attorney not in good standing" I assume he means not actively practicing law which is correct -- And never have I stated otherwise. That is a term to note when an attorney is no longer practicing for those unaware. Neither have I ever claimed to be an attorney with experience in securities law but have pointed out on occasion that we should seek advice of such counsel on some props. > > If this was some attempt to malign my character it was a poor one and mystifying as to why. He seems to be a tad confused so just wanted to clarify here. > > vwr written all by myself - no chatgpt needed
+1 > I noticed im confused about a meta issue so just laying out my thoughts here: > - Im supportive of this in theory > - I voted for volky and gh access > - But i still find myself unconvinced about voting on things where we just create social debt. Even if the duna admin acts as execution layer, is this the path we want to go down? Do we really want those types of votes to be a frequent occurrence?
+1 > Concept feels outdated. I'd be supportive for this to be integrated into a CB / rainbow wallet experience, becoming part of a social feed (farcaster), etc. But that also (kinda) already exists.
I think Rocketman is a fantastic builder and exploring governance like this is very much worthy of funding, but I agree with both sides here and am just unsure if we can justify putting this much of the treasury behind Flows in its current state. If this prop ends up failing please submit another one because I definitely don't want to see Flows die +1 > I think its definitely +EV for Nouns to continue to support this experiment in some way. Flows is one of those products that attempt to course-correct Nouns and thats exactly the type of energy and operators we want. So ultimately I think we should give rocketman and team more rope here, im just unsure about the specifics, hence abstaining this time. +1 > I believe in the potential of Flows, but right now it feels unfocused and difficult to rally around. > > Many grants either fund things people were already doing or they lack clear follow-through (not to mention the rugs). I’ve tried coordinating with grantees, and even getting the bare minimum of engagement has been challenging. > > What is the goal of Flows? What are we actually working toward? We need clear, centralized goals that leverage decentralized tools to coordinate decentralized communities. All in service of building the Nouns brand. > > I want a smaller budget version of this proposal. Less funding per month to grantees and more focused goals from the Flows team. +1 > the forever problem of governance is that high quality governance is hard and painful (a lot of effort, skill, and brain damage involved) and as a result is in short supply. > > companies solve this by allowing concentration of ownership and financial outcomes (large shareholders are motivated to elect the right management and go through the brain damage of corporate governance b/c they get the bulk of the financial outcome). > > this doesn't quite work for nouns b/c culturally we reject the idea of a single person (or a few people) controlling the nouns treasury spending decision unilaterally and their motivation overwhelmingly being driven by personal financial profit. > > that's reasonable imo. we would reject such a thing for our local city governance as well (nouns is more like a city than a company imo). but for city governance there's a degree of civic duty and lock in. when governance devolves too much (SF recently where I live), living conditions becomes unbearable and while many ppl leave (many tech ppl went to miami etc) at some point ppl like garry tan (who grew up on SF) that are never going to leave b/c it's their home and where their livelihood is built just start taking ownership b/c there's no other choice. city revenue is also raised through taxes. dues are collected from everyone and spent for everyone (though applied progressively) and it's forced. > > i don't quite know how nouns governance is supposed to work long term. governance is hard and painful. you can't take over enough control of the governance to substantially privatize the financial gain b/c that would nuke the project. ppl aren't locked in and revenue isn't forced. i get why nouns could be a city ppl might love to live in. but would anyone pay to be involved in governance (something that is inherently hard and painful)? > > i don't know the answer to this question. but what i do know is that any answer involves creating more leverage to ppl providing the scarce good governance. maybe they like nerding out about nouns. maybe they spent enough years and benefitted from nouns in one way or another and feel a sense of civic duty. maybe they are a nouns business and have some aligned financial incentive even if not a controlling amount. we need to take that which is given to us and SOMEHOW leverage that to govern the whole system effectively. prop house (token voting, gardeners, farcaster likes) attempted that but wasn't enough of an answer on its own. AI seems to be the only plausible new frontier to create leverage. if somehow we can determine who's providing the scarce good governance and train AI models to act on those inputs with infinite patience and attention, then maybe we have a chance. this seems to be where vitalik's thinking is going with regards to open source (public goods) funding as well. > > another frontier is to reintroduce market mechanisms to aid portions of the governance decisions ("futarchy" is a buzz word ppl talk about which allows you to buy and sell each prop / governance decision). TCRs? revnets? to be honest i'm generally a bit more skeptical about this direction b/c i don't know if market mechanisms are really well suited for public funding decisions (so many pitfalls) but i do think it's a genuine additional frontier that we admittedly haven't explored much > > this ended up being a super long rant but all of this is to say, i don't know the ins and outs of what's going on here but directionally i think it's exploring a super important meta problem of governance for nouns and given there aren't any projects more promising in this realm (and we're lucky to have someone as talented and earnest as rocketman leading it) i just think we need to let him cook +1 > I appreciate the vision and contributions that Rocketman has made to the ecosystem — Flows is one of the most ambitious attempts to reimagine bottom-up funding in crypto. However, I will be voting NO on this proposal for the following reasons: > > 1. DAO Has No Long-Term Stake in $FLOWs Token. > Flows is moving toward a tokenized revnet system, and yet Nouns DAO — the only funding source to date — is not explicitly included in the token design. > Without equity, protocol fees, or token allocations for Nouns, there is no structural mechanism for the DAO to benefit from Flows’ upside. > We’ve seen this before with other projects that launched tokens after being incubated by the DAO, only to exclude Nouns from the long-term value loop. **I do not want Flows to become another Agora.** > > 2. Funding Scale Requires VC Validation. > Flows already received significant early-stage support from the DAO, well beyond what traditional incubators would commit. > A follow-on ask of $575k should ideally be de-risked through outside validation. > If the team can secure venture support — and I’m happy to help introduce them — I would feel more comfortable backing the next round of DAO support. VC validation would show that the tokenomics are sound and that Flows is building a market-aligned, sustainable product. +1 > We’re big fans of the Flows mechanism, vision and concept, but there are too many flaws in its current form. The net is cast far too wide, diluting the impact. System is too easily gamed, allowing low-effort props to secure funding without sufficient vetting. Until these issues are solved we cant support, sorry.
+1 > Appreciative of Nerman, Joel and team but i think its hard to justify spending more resources here. > > +1 > > > I think it's a pretty poor use of funds. Right now, the main thing Nerman does is help with Nouncil, and let's face it, that could be handled by one person setting up votes when proposals come in. Plus, submitting votes on-chain is still something a person has to do. > > > > Do we believe they can market this to other communities and grow its usage? > > > > Even if it took off, what's in it for our DAO? Sure, branding it as a nounish governance tool could make it more appealing, but does that help drive auctions, add value for current holders, or bring any return on investment? At best, it seems like a public good meant to make the world better. If that's the aim, perhaps $67k could be spent more effectively elsewhere. +1 > I think it's a pretty poor use of funds. +1 > simple as, and their food & business reception has been overwhelmingly positive from everything I've seen. bones is always available to talk shop. hope to see the deli standing strong as a melbourne institution a decade from now > > +1 > > > i always talk about nouns deli when telling folks about nouns +1 > Nouns Deli is an awesome asset for Nouns that I hope continues its mission for a long time. > > This is a small and resonable cost for moving locations. > > I can attest that the proposed new location is a really excellent venue (that I personally visit often with my family) with a more diverse crowd that are also more likely to be nouns-curious. The venue also creates more opportunity for Nouns Deli to interact, intersect, and collaborate with the local community, that I hope ND take advantage of. > > Given the 3 points above it makes good sense to support this imho.
+1 > A relatively small ask for a fun project that can potentially drive more interest in a nounish publication. People using their skills to extend and build on the CC0 oevres of previous contributors, that's what the experiment is about for me. RFG is a very talented voice actor and I think she'll do a very nice and professional job on this.
+1 > This is one of the first event sponsorships with a measurable value exchange and flow back to the DAO: > Flow #1: profit cut on merch sales straight into the treasuries > Flow #2: access to email distribution list to follow up with event attendees > > Confident that Jacopo will put as much care and work into the festival in Milan, as he does with Slice.

+1 > This prop ticks a bunch of boxes for us, especially loving the ‘local impact’ addition! Would love to see more props take this lead. Ben offers transparency, a proven track record, and the ability to think outside the box, creating memorable events unlike many other web3 snoozefests
+1 > I love this team and want to support them in some way but given the budget and our economic reality i think this proposal is trying to do too much. For example i think the kids programming and public restoration projects should probably be separate, standalone, proposals. > > I dont love to have a conservative penny-pinching stance on proposals like this but I think it serves Nouns well in the long run to be really efficient at how we allocate funds, and that probably means streamlining budgets a bit (eg 7500 usd on 'misc' seems hard to justify).
+1 > Having teams ship individually seems like the best path forward for esports. The Counter-Strike community has never been more engaged with Nouns. Not just because they’re asking for funding, but because they’re now fully accountable for putting in the work to pass the proposal. This added responsibility has brought them closer to the DAO than ever before. > > On top of that, the opportunity for the DAO to generate revenue under DUNA would be groundbreaking. I think it’s definitely worth another shot.
+1 > A fun group of lads with a modest ask. Their genuine curiosity about crypto and Nouns has grown over time. At times, I’ve questioned promoting such a niche esport, but I believe this ask is right-sized, and I’m proud to play a role in helping this group bring Nouns to a global audience. > > +1 > > > Awesome team that is authentic and always give their best. Nouns association with one of the biggest brands in the world will always be +EV imo. They have made a Nouns a staple in the Pokemon Unite scene since competitive events started.
+1 > flows is a great tool for demonstrating proof of concept and sincerity. wouldn't mind a larger prop with more familiarity of yirs and his activities > > +1 > > > check out flows.wtf
+1 > I love Benjamin’s idea, but I also think this is something worth funding as is. +1 > Sponsoring a team setup for competitive gaming is unlikely going to yield the desired impact you and the ⌐◨-◨ ecosystem and community would wish for other than having salaries covered for 12 months. > > I'd be very supportive for a "brand ambassador" type of prop for jesscas and lunari to host culturally relevant side events at other tournaments, etc. to attract, engage and cultivate a community of like-minded people. But not necessarily as a 100% monthly paycheck.

$nouns isn’t a memecoin, it’s pegged 1 to 1 and is conceptually just a different unit of account for a Noun. +1 > Sam you are easily one of my favorite developers.... I even have your autograph on a Game Cube controller, but I have to say this seems a bit contradicting.... 'I'm fine with people creating nounish memecoins and they probably end up being a net good for Nouns but I don't think the DAO should fund them.' - 24hrs later puts up a prop for the DAO to funds $NOUNS token with liquidity - GG > > My view on this proposal is....given our upcoming transition to DUNA, we need to exercise heightened scrutiny regarding proposal funding, particularly concerning their regulatory implications.... I personally do not think the DAO should be funding any proposals that are attached to an ERC20 token or has a token involved, as it put us in a sticky situation if the token is considered a security or not if it has an LP. Unfortunately I think NNS has evolved so much from the original proposal (which is not a bad thing at all, $NOGS has been a net positive for the ecosystem) but it is an ERC20 token that is given to DAO members & will benefit in price appreciation with this funding, so are we funding a potential security? I'm not a lawyer so I can't say with certainty, but it's not a risk I think we should take. > > +1 > > > I really do respect the effort that has been put into this project to help grow Nouns, and I actually think this concept of creating a platform that incentivizes people to explore and participate in other nounish projects is worth funding. > > > > However, I just don't personally like $NOGS. In favor of complying with DUNA, not in favor of minority protection via exit. +1 > The dao showed it doesn’t honestly care about minority protection by refusing to lower fork threshold before duna prop. > > As such, there’s no point in voting through this streaming change which is materially worse for the dao and only offers in return something we’ve seen few honestly care for (minority protection) > > Against +1 > The exit mechanic already functions through secondary sales, which are occurring almost daily. > > The fork threshold is currently at 100%. Ragequit was undeniably a mistake and can no longer happen. Any external attacks can be vetoed. So what are we doing here? > > Ideas like this feel like a significant waste of time and only introduce new attack vectors that this proposal fails to address. +1 > Ive never been a strong proponent of this design (on the contrary been strongly against it in the past) but all-in-all i think this is a fine feature and net-positive compared to having no exit/refund mech. > > Thanks david/elad for all the hard work on this!
I really do respect the effort that has been put into this project to help grow Nouns, and I actually think this concept of creating a platform that incentivizes people to explore and participate in other nounish projects is worth funding. However, I just don't personally like $NOGS. I'm fine with people creating nounish memecoins and they probably end up being a net good for Nouns but I don't think the DAO should fund them. If you guys were to come to the DAO and propose the Noggles Club concept but built on top of $nouns, I would be happy to support it, albeit somewhere in the $200-250k price range.
Does DUNA require we have some sort of minority protection / exit mechanism to comply? If the answer is yes, then I'd be happy to support. Otherwise, we should just get rid of the exit mechanism all together. I think the fork has been the single worst decision we have made as a DAO and we should rethink if it's even worth having implemented. +1 > Ive never been a strong proponent of this design (on the contrary been strongly against it in the past) but all-in-all i think this is a fine feature and net-positive compared to having no exit/refund mech. > > Thanks david/elad for all the hard work on this! +1 > The exit mechanic already functions through secondary sales, which are occurring almost daily. > > The fork threshold is currently at 100%. With Nouns GG we are paving a way for esports fans to begin their onchain journey in a progressive way, meeting them where they're at. Historically, the esports community including smash has hated crypto, a narrative we have been able to reverse. Our focus for Nouns GG next year is to experiment heavily with onchain features and build experiences that make the smash community want to transact onchain / help bring in revenue. While our core focus for 2025 is on smash, everything we are building can be expanded to any game, and long term we want Nouns GG to become a hub for the entire esports community.
+1 > first, let me just say that i've had the pleasure of watching max and jeff work on this from inception, and i think they are talented, experienced, hard working, unusually humble and well meaning for this industry (hollywood && crypto), and i genuinely believe they can pull this off. > > second, i don't quite get the obsession with the proposal structure. staged financing is the norm in creative pursuits and there's no reason we shouldn't embrace it within nouns. > > there are two big reasons that staged financing is valuable imo: 1. it lets the dao make initial bets at a smaller scale which translates into being able to fund crazier people and ideas and take bigger risks, and 2. unfinished creative projects can still add significant value to the ecosystem (especially in a CC0 context). > > the downside here is easily avoided if we just avoid the sunk-cost fallacy. we try some things, if they are going well we keep funding them, if they are not, we don't, and if we're lucky, someone gets inspired to pick up the thread at a later date. > > anyway, i would love to see the conversation more focused on max and jeff and what they're attempting creatively. make sure you listen to their prototype song and imagine where this can go when fully realized! > > ⌐◨-◨
+1 > Would be cool if the treasury could just delegate rather than transfer nouns for experiments like this. But until that tech exists (if ever), this seems like a decent solution. > I support the experiment generally. > I do also agree there could be other routes to testing this such as using existing park noun with the community via nerman as mentioned. > Would also be cool to see a mint/raise among the park community to bid on more nouns. > But again, I am down for the experiment nonetheless. +1 > I think we might be bikeshedding this one just a little bit. There is no ETH ask, this is a proven community of nounish builders asking for a couple nouns to come out of retirement from the treasury to run an experiment... what's the worst that could happen? > > And what's the best thing that could happen? I prefer to think optimistically, and support The Park's efforts to bring more musicians onchain via nouns. ⌐◨-◨ > > +1 > > > Hell Yes. We should be running a lot more governance experiments.
+1 > I’m voting FOR this proposal because 0xishal truly represents what it means to be Nounish. They’ve shown dedication by creating proposals that align with our values, even buying a Noun and continuing to build despite setbacks. Proposal 483 had overwhelming support, and while 549 didn’t reach quorum over “sustainability” concerns, it's worth asking how many of our projects really meet that mark anyway. > > This latest proposal is a community-driven plan to bring Nouns into a new space. Instead of turning away committed members, let’s support and guide people like 0xishal who invest in our vision. Builders and bidders like this are what keep Nouns growing. ⌐◨-◨ +1 > on behalf of /nounsfe > For: 5 Abstain: 0 Against: 0 > > Tori for! Introducing students to games and the open world that there is out there is exactly what esports stands for. We are creating a community that welcomes you no matter where you come from and have a space where you can do great things as you. > > Katalyyst for, low ask and a really cool outcome. outreach to students is a great way to spread to a greater audience and help young adults develop in their interests and careers! > > Onter: For, seems like good way to get nouns with the younger generation > > jesscas: +1 peter > > lunari: 0xisihal IS NOUNISH and it has gone unnoticed. love the iteration and re-stating my last vote on this project, if my future kids (or past self) got to experience something like this in school it would be a highlight of the year ^~^ excited to see the zora art collection as well.
+1 > Satori is a passionate and capable operator, with a strong connection to the Kendama community. However, I don’t believe running rounds for ongoing engagement will be effective. Instead, I’d recommend focusing on building Nouns as the central Kendama community through a Discord or Instagram presence. Expecting people to use Warpcast just to engage with the sponsor seems unrealistic. > > Like esports, Kendamas may become overly reliant on DAO funding. Without developing independent distribution channels (they plan to do this via Warpcast), they'll struggle to retain and engage their audience long-term. > > - peterpandam
+1 > Im pretty convinced this is something we should fund at this point. Ive struggled with the why (and some of the line items) in the past but supporting Tagawa is about as wholesome as it gets imo. Further, VCs nor typical charities are effective/motivated to fund these type of activities.
+1 > if this doesn't pass i hope we can pass a smaller USDC amount prop that doesn't anchor on the amount that has been spent out of pocket but on the out performance and dedication that klim has had in executing his props over the years > > also thank you chris for putting this prop up. retro props are good imo. ppl should be able to do great things for nouns and get rewarded for it (ofc it shouldn't be like the person is OWED retro funding but we should have a culture where it's possible). for that retro culture to work there has to be ppl that put in the energy and effort to recognize the great selfless work of others. it's a lot of work to put up a prop like this (the prop writing, dealing with questions and criticisms, etc) with nothing in return. i personally thought of writing a retro prop for klim multiple times and shied away for those reasons. > > a struggle i've had in my communication with klim over the years have been that klim would message me about a thing he thinks we should do (e.g. we should be at designercon) and i would say "put up a prop for it and it will likely pass!" and for one reason or another it wouldn't happen and klim would still go do the thing self-funded and i've felt a bit torn about that. > > the yes vote here is not to indicate that we'll pay back whatever expense someone incurred in their own volition in support of nouns. but rather a yes vote recognizing the ways klim has gone above and beyond in ways i've followed over the years and wanting to highlight that +1 > Klim is a wonderful contributor to this community, but we simply can't set the precedent that arbitrary self-directed unaccountable spending will be refunded by the DAO (even if it produces good results). > > I would personally support an actual retro funding proposal that focuses exclusively on Klim's contributions (not his expenses) and gifts 3-5 Nouns, as well as cash compensation that offsets the tax obligation.
