I am voting NO on this proposal to fund BLVCKHAND with 5 ETH.
Here is what I would need to see changed to vote YES:
- Reduce scope to one deliverable. Bundling a greenfield mobile app development AND a merch kit into a single proposal feels strange. The skillset required to deliver on these goals is very different, and I'm not convinced 5 ETH is enough.
- Clarity on payout conditions. Does the team receive the 5 ETH upfront? Only once all success criteria have been achieved? What if they completed one section, but not both?
- Credentials that the team can deliver a mobile app. I'm not sure who is in the BLVCKHAND working group, but delivering a mobile app w/ 100 members in a month is a tall order.
- A ragequit option, similar to our engineer-in-residence setup with Juicebox & Alex.
