In the beginning, Paper was always intended to be a resource of the DAO. We (the early community) didn't mint everything out day one because we naively thought that the DAO being the owner of the contract meant we could mint out to pay people whenever the community needed to. We did not expect the political winds would be so strongly against minting new tokens.
Contributors are not dumpers. These people want to put their time into something that could be so big that the only rational thing is to collect as much Paper as possible and work as hard as possible to make it as valuable as possible.
Contributors are the lifeblood of a project. We need them, and they need to get paid for their work. The power of DAOs is being able to reward participants with access to the upside of participation. We literally need to *WILL* Paper into existence as something valuable, and that is done through the sweat equity of the contributors.
Hustlers always pay their debts, and it's time they get paid.
