{"description":"I have lost funds due to the UST depeg event, and would like to claim my full coverage of 15 ETH. I believe this claim falls under the ANC+MIR+UST De-Peg Bundled Cover criteria 4, 5, and 6 copied below:\n\n```\n4. During the Cover Period, there is a loss in value of the UST as it moves off-peg, trading below $0.88 based on a 10-day Time Weighted Average Price (TWAP) calculated using market data extracted from Coingecko; and\n5. The insured is holding UST or any representation of UST supplied directly as liquidity in the wallet or in accounts with any custodians (e.g. centralized exchange, asset management providers, etc.) at the time of purchase of the Cover; and\n6. The loss is directly linked to the wallet address, which the insured used to purchase the Cover or the insured is able to provide evidence to prove the ownership of the impacted wallet address and accounts with any custodians; and\n```\n\nI have reviewed the exclusion criteria and find that none apply.\n\nThe claimed loss occurred to the 29,188.07 UST associated with my Terra Station Wallet: terra1qrfw29cxqn4fz2cvzkdynyxdecwhmetnwnv4s5.\n\nAfter reviewing the blogpost which directs claimants to transfer the funds to the ethereum address associated with the contract I have done so - the funds are now located in the 0x4c18 address. At current market rate (6/17) of $1,084.75 per ETH, the claimed amount has a pre-depeg rate valued at 26.9 ETH, well in excess of my coverage max.\n\nAt the time of the de-peg event, these funds were stored as aUSD stored on Mirror Protocol. I would like to highlight cover criteria 5. The aUST falls under a representation of UST from Anchor (a protocol covered under the umbrella) and deposited on Mirror (another protocol covered under the umbrella contract). \n\nThe blog post request screenshots demonstrating UST holdings on 5/3 and 5/13. Hello - I am submitting an appeal / complaint for claim 30, for a total of 176088 USDC, for the reason that I was led to believe via the cover policy terms and via communications with the team that I would be eligible for a claim if the 10-day TWAP of UST stayed below $0.88 even if my cover had not been activated yet at the time the depeg event was triggered. That this should be a coverable case can be seen in the official cover terms, which I will provide proof of to claims@insurace.io . Additionally, in my communications with team members from the time of the depeg event, I was led to believe that this would be a coverable situation, during a time where UST was worth many multiples more than what it is worth now. Had I received a definitive answer at any point, I would've been able to salvage a significant amount of funds from my total UST that I am claiming for. At the point that I received email notice that this was not going to be covered, the price of UST was already 1/5 of the price that it was was when I had first asked about this. I have provided screenshots of the communications from May 11th that led me to believe that I would be covered. In summary, I am submitting a complaint due to the fact that I believe that the cover I purchased should be valid, and due to not receiving a definitive response from the insurAce team to my queries until May 25th at 10:05 PM (15 days after I originally asked the team). Because of this, I was not able to make a timely financial decision to sell my UST at a much higher price to recuperate some of my losses.

Dear all, As @vagrantcrypto said in his last comment on this case “This is a very specific case. Maybe it goes to a separate vote” – I will try my best to keep it short As you can see my claim sounds simple at first. As everyone, I wanted get some good yield from Anchor. I am usually open to new DeFI and had some good experience with Orion.Money Saver so decided to use them as they simplify cross-chain and cross-stablecoin transactions. I used my USDC from ETH wallet and orion.money saver automated the rest. On the orion.money Web3 page, there was an integrated link straight to InsureAce smart contract bundle insurance called "Orion Money + UST De-Peg", also denominated in USDC on ETH. As I was aware of both risks on this protocol, that insurance has offered a great peace of mind. I have shared on discord how both orion.money saver and InsureAce web3 pages were integrated if anyone wants to see (it worked a charm btw… see discord on 9th June 12:44 UTC). I did notice later however the link to the V2 wording for that package was broken (reported on discord 13 May 00:37 UTC ) but assumed I have bought a fully dedicated package for what I was doing as everything was so well integrated. When issues with LUNA and UST started, I watched the Discord, waited until De-Pegg was officially announced before withdrawal, consulted with @vagrantcrypto who was also of an opinion that this case looks fairly sensible, quoting @vagrantcrypto “you put $x USDC into orion, which was turned into UST and staked into anchor. UST depegged, reducing your USDC value, so you've incurred a loss. Simple. Just put those details into your claim with TXIDs along with your loss amount and it sounds like a fairly sensible claim.” – 13th May 14:33 UTC. I submitted my claim, I have also emailed detailed screenshots from orion.money saver to support the claim amount only to find out later that my claim was rejected on the ground of "No holding of UST at cover purchase time" as the pre-requisite. That was a big surprise as I deposited via orion.money saver first and later bought the insurance via the integrated link. Luckily I manage to prove I also had some additional substantial amount UST as liquidity on SIFCHAIN chain in my other wallet during the insurance purchase and during any interaction with orion.money, which met that pre-requisite and that was confirmed by the claim team (even though I strongly believe depositing into Anchor via orion.money saver alone was enough to meet that prerequisite). SIFCHAIN wallet: sif18fyejz7wk5hcrk82uvfaqgcnta9l7j6gs89d5w My main claim for the insured USDC deposit via orion.money saver using the insured ETH wallet was however still rejected. The discussion turned to what orion.money is... So I am quoting below the details with links: “Orion Money is a software platform that doesn't hold any money or crypto assets. Orion Money provides a software tool that users use to deposit their crypto assets to smart contracts on Anchor Protocol, which is a decentralized blockchain protocol.” Source: https://orion.money/tc “Orion Saver users deposit their Ethereum stablecoins (USDT, USDC, BUSD, DAI) in the Orion Saver Web App to immediately start earning high yields on their deposits. Behind the scenes, Orion Saver's smart contract will place their deposit into EthAnchor. EthAnchor will exchange the Ethereum stablecoins into Wrapped UST and bridge the deposits from the Ethereum blockchain into the Terra blockchain before depositing the UST into the Anchor Protocol.". Source: https://orion-money.medium.com/orion-money-litepaper-release-7e98bb3acb6f You can also see the swap of aUST on my withdrawal transaction from orion.money saver which I initiated after the De-pegg event was officially announced: https://etherscan.io/tx/0xd255d579c55763dc13c8b8789875e92315349fc25f8b9128c0b6d19060c1376c At the end it was signed with my Insured wallet. All behind the scene cross-chain and cross-stablecoin steps could have been done manually but the end result would still be the same, there would be UST in Anchor contract untimely signed by my insured wallet. I understand this case is very different from others but if you dismiss the usage of a tool like orion.money saver which simplifies crosschain and stablecoin swaps, you are really dismissing a lot of DeFI going forward. That's what people do to simplify their life.. sooner or later people will likely warry less about multiple wallets, chains, stablecoins and use solutions like orion.money saver that perform the relevant tansactions and bridges under the hood. I do feel like I was either mis-sold and deceived despite my very clear intentions to protect my investment or there is some misunderstanding how this insurance should apply to tools like orion.money saver. Myself and probably more future DeFI enthusiasts would greatly appreciate if you could please positively opinion this claim. Thanks All

}{"description":"I am claiming for the total of 150000 USDC in relation to the UST depegging event that occured from 5/3/22 - 5/13/22\n\nImpacted Wallet Address (ETH): 0xAC8EB5c1c12CC1db3e37BB64cC9f2220e16395D9 (this is the address I used to purchase cover)\n\nBrief Description of Events:\n\nI directly added 1513.3699 mUSO and 122,267.107 UST to the mUSO-UST Uniswap liquidity pair at 5:10 AM on 4/10/22. \n\nI then staked this LP token in Mirror Finance on the ETH network. (eth.mirrorprotocol.app)\n\nAs this was before the cover was purchased (4/20/22) and over 10 days before the depeg event was triggered on 5/3/13, it is claimable as per the policy terms.\n\nAfter the depeg event was confirmed on 5/13/22, I unstaked my LP token from Mirror and removed liquidity from Uniswap on 5/13/22.\n\nI was left with 2,064.340381 mUSO & 164,127.299667 UST.\n\nCoverable Amount Calculation\n\nTo calculate the amount of UST that is claimable as of 5/3/22, when the depeg event started, I used the following Impermanent Loss (IL) Calculator:\n\nhttps://dailydefi.org/tools/impermanent-loss-calculator/\n\nThis calculator takes the price of the two assets in the liquidity pair upon deposit (initial price) and upon withdrawal (future price), and tells us the change in the amount of the assets in the pair upon withdrawal.\n\n\nYou can double check using the calculator provided at the link above and the prices at deposit and withdrawal I have provided with screenshot evidence from coinmarketcap.com\n\nOn 4/10/22 at 5AM when I first added liquidity to the LP, mUSO was $80.84 and UST was $1.0006. I used these prices in the IL Calculator as the “Initial Prices.”\n\nOn 5/3/22 at 5 AM, which is the time I was advised by the insurAce team to calculate my claimable amount from (as this was the time of the depeg event was triggered), mUSO was worth $98.60 and UST was worth $1.0011. \n\nI used these prices in the IL Calculator as the “Future” Prices. \n\nUsing the IL calculator we can see that Token B (UST) held in proportion to token A (mUSO), due to the increase in price of token A (mUSO), over the time period 4/10/22 - 5/3/22, would've increased by:\n\n[(551.73 - 449.70) / 449.70] * 100 = 22.69%\n\nFinally, to get the amount of UST tokens in the LP pair on 5/3/22, we can take the original amount of UST tokens deposited on 4/10/22 (122,267.107 UST) and multiply it by 1.2269, to calculate the amount of UST tokens claimable from the LP pair as of 5/3/22 at 5AM:\n\n122267.107 * 1.2269 = 150,009.5135783 UST\n\nTherefore, the total claimable amount is 150,009.51 USDC. \n\nI rounded down to 150,000 USDC in my claim to account for any small fluctuations and make it a round number.\n\nTransactions:\n\nBelow you can see me supplying liquidity on Uniswap for the mUSO-UST pair, on 4/10/22 on Uniswap:\n\nhttps://etherscan.io/tx/0x204c8e465825204bbeb18b1fd65109b6004c08d7be35478ca2496342a06d5958\n\nUnstaking mUSO-UST LP from Mirror Finance (ETH) on 5/13/22: https://etherscan.io/tx/0xfa64ce37c431ed3a2ab0959e0ff2a57058ce8ae14e801a4873302d2cdb3a258b\n\nRemoving Liquidity from mUSO-UST LP on Uniswap (ETH) on 5/13/22:\nhttps://etherscan.io/tx/0x9e56a3c5d02ff9c15f1ac3bc317cced32f8135794ba6750ce6af05d908c38778\n\nI will send a document with all screenshots, transactions, and all other relevant proof to claims@insurace.io as per the blog post instructions.\n\nIf you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to reach out.\n"}
