# Nouns Artist Residency — 6 Month Extension # ### TL;DR I'm requesting 4.8 ETH to extend my Nouns artist residency for six months. I will continue creating nounish artwork, proposing new heads, developing characters and lore, collaborating with nouners, and expanding Nouns Colombia as a broader regional cultural platform. My work combines artistic exploration with community engagement, producing pieces that resonate with the culture and reflect the spirit of Nouns. This is a revised version of [Prop 942](https://nouns.wtf/vote/942), updated Also check propdate on [#840](https://propdates.nouns.wtf/prop/840) ## Proposal The past months of my residency have been incredible. I've spent over two years getting to know the community, building deep and valuable friendships, and immersing myself in the culture of Nouns. I was already deeply connected and committed, but traveling to Argentina in November, being present at the Nouns booth at DevConnect, and meeting so many members in person strengthened that bond and reinforced my love for the community. Being recognized as the Nouns artist resident and connecting with people face-to-face has made me even more motivated to continue contributing. I am deeply grateful for the trust and space the DAO and community have given me so far — it has allowed me to grow as an artist and as a participant in this ecosystem. Over the next six months, I will continue my artistic exploration within Nouns, developing characters, lore, and visual work that strengthens the language of the ecosystem. Inspiration will come from conversations, calls, community interactions, and moments within the DAO, allowing me to create pieces that are meaningful and relevant for the community. Nouners can reach out to me when they need artwork to support their projects, and I will also produce work that complements executed proposals — reflecting the sentiment of the DAO, enhancing visibility, and adding artistic depth where it is meaningful. Whether for official Nouns social channels or to enrich ongoing initiatives, my aim is for the art to live alongside the community and the culture. When moments call for a portrait, a meme, a poster, a visual narrative, or something unexpected, I want to respond in a way that is playful, resonant, and connected to the ecosystem. The transition from @ferianounish to [@nounscolombia](https://instagram.com/nounscolombia) on Instagram has been an important step forward. This change expands the vision beyond a single event and allows us to cultivate a broader regional platform for artistic collaborations, audiovisual projects, murals, workshops, cultural activations, and future editions of the fair. This period is particularly important because Feria Nounish Vol. 3 is planned for the second half of the year, and the work done now will help lay the foundations to make the event bigger and stronger than before. I'm excited to continue growing within the community and outwardly — carrying forward the discourse of creative optimism that defines Nouns into the local and regional artistic ecosystem. I want to translate this energy into tangible cultural presence, contributing both to the people and the projects that make Nouns what it is. I'm asking for the stability to continue doing this work with focus, consistency, and the creative freedom to respond wherever the community needs me. ## Commitments **Monthly artworks** — Each month I will publish a documented set of illustrations and GIFs: nounish characters, lore pieces, memes, and community-responsive work. These will be archived on the Nouns Colombia website and shared across channels so the DAO can track them clearly. **Nouns heads** — I will develop and submit at least 10 new Nouns heads to the DAO over the course of the residency. Each submission will be shared publicly with context and process. **Nouns Colombia website** — The website is already in development and will launch before this residency period officially begins. It will serve as: - A living portfolio and timeline of my residency work - A platform documenting Nouns Colombia events, collaborations, and regional activations - A CC0 resource hub for nounish art coming out of Latin America You can see the work in progress here: [Nouns Colombia (preview)](https://raw.githack.com/Nadiecito/NadiePortfolio/refs/heads/main/index.html#) Or run it yourself: this is the public [repo](https://github.com/Nadiecito/NadiePortfolio) ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/rJiidMaKbg.png) ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/ryfquMaFWl.png) ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/BkJdOMpt-e.png) ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/H1txdzTKWl.png) ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/B12ADzaYbl.png) ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/SkLDwMaFZx.png) ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/r1-cwGTtbg.png) ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/rJ-3vf6Kbg.png) ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/BkzIdzTFbg.png) ### Budget 4.8 ETH for six months of dedicated artistic contribution. ![nadie](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/rJNrsL3_-l.png) ###### Illustration by [Bichoraro](https://farcaster.xyz/bichorarodraws)

For me, Nouns has been the biggest commitment of my so-called artistic career. I take this opportunity very seriously. What I’m proposing isn’t vague because I don’t care — it’s open because I care deeply about the creative process and don’t want to artificially constrain it to rigid deliverables. I may not have a perfectly defined outcome for where this creative endeavor will lead, and that’s intentional. I didn’t want to box it into a checklist. What I do know is that I want to continue creating work I feel genuinely proud to share with the DAO. That said, I’d truly appreciate your opinion and any specific feedback on how you think this could be stronger or clearer. I’m always open to improving. +1 > vague and non committal
Mike — really appreciate the support and the questions. a) I intentionally requested ETH because I plan to hold as much as possible. My previous prop was 1 ETH/month, but that included producing events and collaborating/commissioning other artists. This time it’s focused primarily on art creation, while staying active in the local artistic scene. Despite volatility, 1 ETH = 1 ETH — I want long-term alignment. b) All the work is CC0. c) The visual wrap-up is exactly what I’m building now — a mini-site with timeline + galleries organizing the residency work. I’ve updated the prop. Thank you for pushing for this. Humpty — thank you, that means a lot. The OnchainCreators and other event pieces will absolutely be included. The goal is to have everything in one accessible, cohesive place for the DAO. Appreciate you both. Prop updated +1 > nadie is great, i support this.. but a few questions/comments: > > a. would prefer this be in usdc, unless you plan to hold the eth for long term upside? > > b. is any of the art from the residency cc0?.. > > c. can we get some sort of visual wrap up of all your work during your engagement with Nouns added onto this? Maybe a mini site featuring all the work from the residency split up by if its cc0 or done for another nounish project? basically like a 'Nouns Residency Portfolio?' the dao can reference and point to as a completed body of work from a series of proposals? +1 > I also think Nadie is great and I'm 100% for this. Would be cool to see a gallery of the work you've done in the last residency. I know the work you've created for Nounish creator events I've hosted with OnchainCreators goes hard, and should be hosted somewhere everyone can see along with all your other work. > > +1 > > > nadie is great, i support this.. but a few questions/comments: > > > > a. would prefer this be in usdc, unless you plan to hold the eth for long term upside? > > > > b. is any of the art from the residency cc0?.. > > > > c. can we get some sort of visual wrap up of all your work during your engagement with Nouns added onto this? I’m currently building a small website that will function as a living “Nouns Residency Portfolio” — a timeline-style review of my work during the residency, alongside curated galleries of past and current nounish pieces. The idea is not only to document what has already been done, but to create a space that can continue growing: featuring CC0 works, commissioned pieces, collaborations, Nouns Colombia activations, other artists, and future events. I’m still figuring out the technical side — this is actually my first time seriously building something like this — but I’m committed to making it happen because I believe the DAO deserves a clear, accessible visual archive of the work produced through this engagement. I’ll share progress as it develops. ### Budget 4.8 ETH for six months of dedicated artistic contribution. ![nadie](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/rJNrsL3_-l.png) ###### > ilustration by [Bichoraro](https://farcaster.xyz/bichorarodraws)

The past months have truly been a blessing for me as an artist. I’m deeply grateful to Nouns for welcoming me as a resident and supporting my work during this time. That support allowed me to refine my craft while building something meaningful for my local artistic community. ⌐◨-◨ ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/SkWp9-5OZg.png) During this period I've submited several new heads (none passed yet, sadly — but we keep building). - Hyrax - Park Bench - Dire Wolf - Cap - Banana Split - Emerald - Toxic Waste Co-created Castle Head too ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/rkkkjWcObl.png) I created 40+ original artworks, animations, and graphic pieces, and contributed visuals for: Nouncil NOC Nounspace ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/HyEXjW5dWg.png) Bingo Revival Noun City (Tucumcari, NM) Onchain Creators Rally (Buenos Aires) ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/rk0roWq_bl.png) ETH Boulder ETH Denver ![Sin título-2](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/Bkensb5O-e.jpg) I also participated as a resident artist at the Nouns booth during Devconnect Argentina, where I finally met many people I had only known online. That IRL connection meant a lot. ![image](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/H1q0j-5dbl.png) Beyond individual production, the residency evolved into cultural coordination in Cali 🇨🇴 We hosted 4 IRL events: • A 2-day Nounish Graphic Fair • A Drawing Jam • An onboarding meetup • A Yellow mural activation + animal food donation drive ![Sin título-2](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/HksMhZqdZl.jpg) It has been an incredibly productive season. I’m thankful for the opportunity. Proud of what we built. And motivated to keep pushing this forward with more structure, reach, and care. Let’s keep building. ⌐◨-◨

My mom couldn’t afford it every day, but when she did, every dripping bite felt like pure luxury. I want people who grew up treasuring those rare Banana Split moments—who still smile remembering the taste—to have a head in the Nouns collection that brings back that childhood joy. **Everything can, and maybe should, be a Noun.** [![Trait Image](data:image/png;base64,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)](https://www.probe.wtf/nouns/dreams/701) ### Proposal submitted via [probe.wtf](https://www.probe.wtf) ## Nouns Art Contribution Agreement **Signer**: 0x215DB99298af65306A4c60BD3b7612D5F60b03D7 **Message**: I, the individual controlling Ethereum address 0x215DB99298af65306A4c60BD3b7612D5F60b03D7, hereby waive all copyright and all related or neighboring rights, together with any associated claims or causes of action, to the extent permitted by law. Everyone wears caps. Everyone knows the sting when one goes missing. As a Colombian communications graduate from Cali, I've always been drawn to the semiotic power of everyday objects: how a simple cap—just an accessory—can carry unexpected layers of meaning depending on the context. ![513235-la-gorra-0-1000-0-1500-crop](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/Byg69SsDZl.jpg) When I was younger I watched "La Gorra" (2008) a low-budget Colombian drama directed by Andrés Lozano Pineda, co-produced with community leader Lupe Ocampo, and shot in the barrios of Dosquebradas (Risaralda) as part of an audiovisual workshop with at-risk youth. Featuring non-professional actors from the local community, it's based on real events and captures the raw reality of neighborhood conflicts without any professional polish. The plot follows Michael, a young man who has his yellow cap stolen on his way home from school. He tells his older brother Johan, who sets out to retrieve it, but the incident quickly escalates into a deadly feud between two rival gangs, leading to deaths, revenge cycles, and a notorious real-life resolution involving the women of the gangs declaring a "legs crossed" strike—no intimacy until peace is made. A cap is just a cap—protection from sun and rain, a bit of personal style—yet in certain realities it can spark conflict, signal identity, or trigger deeper, tragic stories. Everything can, and maybe should, be a Noun. My mom couldn’t afford it every day, but when she did, every dripping bite felt like pure luxury. I want people who grew up treasuring those rare Banana Split moments—who still smile remembering the taste—to have a head in the Nouns collection that brings back that childhood joy. **Everything can, and maybe should, be a Noun.** [![Trait Image](data:image/png;base64,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)](https://www.probe.wtf/nouns/dreams/701) ### Proposal submitted via [probe.wtf](https://www.probe.wtf) ## Nouns Art Contribution Agreement **Signer**: 0x215DB99298af65306A4c60BD3b7612D5F60b03D7 **Message**: I, the individual controlling Ethereum address 0x215DB99298af65306A4c60BD3b7612D5F60b03D7, hereby waive all copyright and all related or neighboring rights, together with any associated claims or causes of action, to the extent permitted by law. Emerald is a deeply charged cultural and geographical symbol, especially in Latin America. Colombia has historically been one of the regions most closely associated with emeralds — not only as a source of beauty or wealth, but as a territory where emeralds embody deep contradictions: natural abundance and extraction, desire and conflict, value and violence. Everything can, and maybe should, be a Noun. Everything can, and maybe should, be a Noun. Some would argue that we already have a werewolf. But I insist that this is a completely different category (cryptids), and in a collection that aspires to infinity, there is room for both the wolf and the werewolf. This is my third attempt at the wolf. It was inspired by recent news about experiments using dire wolf's DNA to bring the species back to life. That idea made me feel the wolf deserved another chance to exist within Nouns as a head trait. The question isn’t whether the wolf should belong in Nouns as a head. The real question is whether this iteration of the wolf head is good enough to enter the infinite work of art. ![wolbes](https://i.imgur.com/AlWHvXK.png) "a wolf doesn't concern itself with the opinion of sheep" ![WOLFf](https://i.imgur.com/uo8QoV2.png) Everynoun should love wolves ![Extinct](https://i.imgur.com/R7gxvE6.png) The idea of a wolf Noun isn’t extinct. @0x0ED5...4277 Thanks for taking the time to explain this in detail, I really appreciate the clarity. I understand this probably wasn’t the best place to bring it up, and I recognize that I could’ve looked for another way to address it. That said, Eleonora hasn’t replied to my DMs for quite a while now, and when I saw Andrea’s name and Veracura mentioned, my first impulse was to ask. I genuinely appreciate your transparent and thoughtful response. It’s a bummer that the campaign never kicked off, but I understand the structure I signed up for and the outcome you described. I was mostly looking for closure and context, so this helps. Thanks again for acknowledging the contribution and for sharing the current status. > @0x215D...03D7 > > Hi Nadiecito, thanks for raising this for transparency, even though it’s not related to the topic. > > I was the project manager for the Animal Social Club NFT campaign. The digital artworks paired with the NFTs were coordinated through Eleonora Brizi, the art director, who onboarded you together with other artists. > > I’m a bit surprised you didn’t get any info from Eleonora, as this was already addressed with her last year, but I’m happy to tell you more. > > The “success fee” for the NFT campaign's contributors was to be calculated on June 30, 2025, based on funds raised. Since the campaign never kickoff, no funds were raised and therefore no success fees were generated. > > For artists, however, is different. As communicated to Eleonora, even if the signed agreements linked artwork compensation to the success of the campaign, we felt it was fair to propose a new compensation model after the June 30, 2025 deadline, given that the artworks remain as perks of the NFTs. > > Artist compensation is now structured proportionally to the number of NFT memberships minted and sold, on an open-ended basis. In your case, you can verify on-chain that only one Elephant NFT - out of 9000 - has been minted so far. > > For more details feel free to DM me on tg @xcryptonomad or by email at a.malventano@veracura.network, or I can just attach here all the stuff: agreement, emails, shared docs, compensation details, etc. > > For clarity, Animal Social Club goes beyond Web3. It has over 15 years of history and it's a broader biodiversity and cultural project, now pivoting toward urban oasis initiatives and events. > > Thanks again for your contribution. Although this is not directly related to the purpose of this proposal, I want to briefly mention that in 2024 I was contacted to participate as an artist in one of Veracura’s projects. I delivered, on time and as requested, 10 pieces for the Animal Club “Elephant” memberships. To date, I haven’t received any follow-up information regarding the outcome of that experiment, nor any communication about the artist compensation that was mentioned as part of the project. I’m sharing this here in the interest of transparency and closure. @Andrea Schiovanni

![wolbes](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/593659692694110208/1462022922003681403/WOLFf.png?ex=696cae73&is=696b5cf3&hm=ad8636318aafa9bb8d1e389daf4fdd52cf0401bbd03b58423a9664ce071a76a0&=&format=webp&quality=lossless) "a wolf doesn't concern itself with the opinion of sheep" ![WOLFf](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/593659692694110208/1462022921013825536/wolbes.png?ex=696cae73&is=696b5cf3&hm=b3bd6ee93807c2a6554f249a462d1c4ce154526a1fcaab56dec03e3b08469351&=&format=webp&quality=lossless) Everynoun should love wolves ![Extinct](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/593659692694110208/1462022876428239042/Extinct.png?ex=696cae68&is=696b5ce8&hm=ca98dfa0b4c0ff3f8dd2288358f6f7425d7104bebee9f7c6e8a3150cca6ca038&=&format=webp&quality=lossless) The idea of a wolf Noun isn’t extinct. The real question is whether this iteration of the wolf head is good enough to enter the infinite work of art. ![wolbes](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/593659692694110208/1462022922003681403/WOLFf.png?ex=696cae73&is=696b5cf3&hm=ad8636318aafa9bb8d1e389daf4fdd52cf0401bbd03b58423a9664ce071a76a0&=&format=webp&quality=lossless) "a wolf doesn't concern itself with the opinion of sheep" ![WOLFf](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/593659692694110208/1462022921013825536/wolbes.png?ex=696cae73&is=696b5cf3&hm=b3bd6ee93807c2a6554f249a462d1c4ce154526a1fcaab56dec03e3b08469351&=&format=webp&quality=lossless) Everynoun should love wolves ![Extinct](https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/593659692694110208/1462022876428239042/Extinct.png?ex=696cae68&is=696b5ce8&hm=ca98dfa0b4c0ff3f8dd2288358f6f7425d7104bebee9f7c6e8a3150cca6ca038&=&format=webp&quality=lossless) The idea of a wolf Noun isn’t extinct. # Add Dire Wolf Head to Nouns Collection ### Summary: This proposal adds a new head trait: Dire Wolf Showcase noun: ![DEFAULT](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/S1yqPRdHbx.png) Trait Artwork: ![DIREWOLF Trait Artwork](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/SJeA5PAdrZg.png) Circle Crop: ![CIRCLE CROP](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/HJlnD0OSbg.png) Pallette: 2 colors ![DIREWOLF PALLETTE](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/rkzpPRuHbe.png) ![wOLF a](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/Syu1dRdrZe.png) ![wOLF b](https://hackmd.io/_uploads/Bk91OC_rZe.png) Hi, it’s me again — Nadiecito — here once more to try and prove that Nouns is an infinite collaborative artwork. In my experience, the long-standing race to legitimize art through academic criticism, historical references, and intellectual framing often tries to assign meaning to something that is fundamentally meant to be experienced. No art critic possesses inherently superior tools—beyond language, theory, and references—that make their experience of art more valid or valuable than that of any other person. Because of this, I find the role of traditional art criticism—especially when applied to web3 art—largely redundant. In many cases, it attempts to wrap artistic practices in a mantle of intellectual legitimacy that ultimately distances people from engaging with art directly. Instead of inviting participation, it can introduce insecurity: the feeling that one needs the “right” knowledge, context, or approval to have a valid experience. Web3-native art spaces have thrived precisely because they lower these barriers. They allow people to encounter, feel, remix, and relate to art without mediation. Introducing a centralized, top-down interpretive layer—especially one anchored in established art-world institutions—risks reimporting the same gatekeeping dynamics that many of us came here to move away from. While documentation and dialogue are important, I don’t believe that meaning needs to be externally validated by professional critics in order to exist, compound, or become historical. Culture can—and often should—be articulated from within the community, through practice, conversation, and lived participation, rather than through commissioned authority. For these reasons, I don’t support allocating DAO resources to this initiative.
+1 > While I think Rounds on nouns.gg are a great tool and useful for certain contexts, I don’t think it is appropriate for this process. It is an offchain platform which lacks a permanent and verifiable record, has had issues with voting weight accuracy, and requires trust in a third-party platform with full administrative control. Votes are anonymous and not directly verifiable against onchain delegates. The nouns.gg admins have repeatedly had to step in and fix voting issues, and have stated that they can manually add votes at their discretion when requested by groups such as Lils. Since we have the ability to run a fully onchain, permissionless, and transparent election within our existing governance framework, it makes sense to do that rather than introducing additional trust and risk to the process.
I trust Pip’s good intentions, and I believe in his vision for community and collaborative work. I truly recognize his effort—his initiatives have had a meaningful and positive impact on the side of Nouns that continues to be weird, creative, and deeply artistic. Pip Stuart
+1 > prefer more shoestring budget and these costs seem inflated, would consider closer to 10% of this funding request in order to achieve a smaller list of focused tasks e.g.; > > "We created a DIY kit with a piggy bank, brushes, a palette, and stickers, which sold out all 250 units, attracted ongoing orders, and successfully spread to the Nouns community in Indonesia." > > If this sold out / got orders then it feels like there is a sustainable business model here to explore vs asking for $17k grant. Have you made more? Did you follow up on the orders? This is the same text from the proposal 2+ months ago - your production cost is $2.50 per unit so why not get those made and start making money if they are selling out, you can even sell pre-orders or ask Nouns for a smaller grant to get the inventory. > > This is just one example of an idea, I like the piggybank painting etc - we have funded Deguma who I believe has achieved self-sustainability with the programs he runs at the dragon booth, so it is definitely possible. > > + not clear how this emphasizes noun o'clock +1 > Agree with others feedback a more focused proposal can be achieved +1 > I think you gave this all a good shot and are doing a good job overall.. but to continue funding initiatives like this in your area i think we need to see some sort of roi through token sales, new community members, onboarding (not just to nouns but to wallets), etc.. We have limited funds and need to place our chips accordingly. +1 > similar sentiments to nocguild
## Feria Nounish 2025 – Cali, Colombia 🇨🇴 ### 1. Open Call & Community Building The open call launched on **August 16** through [ferianounish.xyz](https://ferianounish.xyz) and the official social media channels ([Instagram](https://instagram.com/ferianounish), [Farcaster](https://farcaster.xyz/ferianounish), [X](https://x.com/Ferianounish)). Participants could apply as entrepreneurs, workshop hosts, or speakers, and were invited to propose Nounish-themed sticker designs, products, or activities inspired by Nouns and Noggles. The call closed on **September 15** with **90 applications**. From this pool, **40 creative entrepreneurs** were selected: 23 with sticker proposals, 13 with product-based projects including art toys, candles, tattoos, prints, and merch, four with workshops, and one with a talk by [Platohedro](https://farcaster.xyz/platohedro). Food and beverage vendors included Choripanes, Fritanga Valluna, Café Gourmet, Cervezas Torremolinos, and Granizados BLVCK. Participation in the fair was free. Selected applicants automatically received a booth for both days of the event. The curation balanced returning participants from earlier activations with new local artists discovered through the open call. --- ### 2. IRL Activations The first activation was **Drink & Draw Nounish**, held at Cervezas Calima. Around twenty people joined this open drawing session focused on Nounish characters. Some of these participants later joined the fair as exhibitors. The second activation was the **Artist Meetup**, which took place on **October 19** at Albahaca Terraza. It served as a coordination and onboarding session for the selected artists. During this meeting, the team shared logistical details, Base onboarding codes, and presented the progress of the **miniapp project** — a marketplace built collaboratively by [Gabriel Lago](https://farcaster.xyz/gabriellagomusic), Nadiecito, and Sweetman in vibecoding sessions. The miniapp is a **whitelisted marketplace** for participating artists, where their exclusive pieces from the fair can be collected onchain. The long-term goal is to evolve it into a **Nounish marketplace** where artists can host and manage their own independent galleries. The prototype can be visited at [ferianounish2025.vercel.app](https://ferianounish2025.vercel.app/). Around **25 Base App codes** were distributed during this meetup, allowing artists to open their wallets and test the onboarding flow before the fair. --- ### 3. Space Design & Setup The fair took place at **Casa de Mono**, which was completely transformed for the occasion. The illustrated characters and decorative pieces were designed by **[Bicho Raro](https://farcaster.xyz/bichorarodraws)**, while **[Camilita](https://farcaster.xyz/camilita)** coordinated the visual production, prepared all final files for printing and social media, and supervised the fabrication of each prop and signage. The space included three printed banners on the façade, a photo wall by Bicho Raro, a set of **inflatable Noggles**, and another set of **wooden Noggles** used for public intervention and collaborative painting. Each selected artist received a **care package** prepared by the team, which contained: - Their printed stickers (for those participating in the sticker category) - The *Mi Primera DAO* fanzine designed by Camilita - Paper noggles by **BIGSHOTTOYS** - A notebook - A keychain as a gift from the fair The **Nouns booth** featured official merch and accessories from BIGSHOTTOYS, including the red and gold plastic Noggles and other limited pieces designed for the event. The **technical layout** included: - One 58” television - One projector for screenings - One inflatable screen five meters wide - Stage with LED screen and sound system - Lighting setup for performances and talks A full photographic record of the fair is available [here](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1J-4Mj36f8X9Aaz2st1e_QtUY_9b10l4p?usp=sharing). --- ### 4. Program The event followed a two-part structure each day: **pedagogical workshops from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.**, and the **graphic fair open to the public from 2:00 p.m. onward**. **Day 1 – October 31.** Dedicated to setup, receiving artists’ materials, and technical tests. **Day 2 – November 1.** Morning workshops were led by **ABECE**, who hosted a cyanotype printing session, and **Yoltika**, who conducted a workshop on engraving over adhesive paper. In the afternoon, the fair opened to the public with food vendors, local products, and a vinyl set by Los Ausentes del Ritmo. The evening closed with a screening of *Nounbreakers* and a live performance by [Marsue](https://farcaster.xyz/marsue). **Day 3 – November 2.** The morning began with workshops by [Don Fingo](https://www.instagram.com/donfingo.caricaturista) (linocut) and [Guácala Studio](https://www.instagram.com/guacala_studio/) (character design). The afternoon featured a talk on speculative futures by [Platohedro](https://farcaster.xyz/platohedro) and a live VR sculpture session by [Braviera](https://instagram.com/braviera). Later, screenings included *Nouns Fest* and *Nouns Animator Jam*, along with the pilot for *Nouns Experimental Music Sessions*. The fair closed with the collective piñata by Camilita and a concert by [Branbel](https://www.instagram.com/branbel.music/) presenting *El Tiempo es Oro*. **Day 4 – November 3.** Focused on dismantling, cleaning, and a final debrief with the production team. --- ### 5. Team & Roles The general coordination and curation were led by **Nadiecito**, who authored the proposal and managed the project’s execution. **[Camilita](https://farcaster.xyz/camilita)** served as art director, coordinated the design team, prepared all final materials for print and digital channels, designed the *Mi Primera DAO* fanzine, and supervised the fabrication of physical pieces, props, and signage. **[Bicho Raro](https://farcaster.xyz/bichorarodraws)** designed all characters and visual assets used across the space and digital materials, including the backgrounds for the miniapp. **[Diego Guevara](https://www.instagram.com/stencildiego)** managed logistics, production, and post-production coordination. **[Gabriel Lago](https://farcaster.xyz/gabriellagomusic)** was responsible for onboarding and offramping support, as well as the technical development of the miniapp. Together with Nadiecito and Sweetman, he built the prototype marketplace for the whitelisted artists participating in the fair. The broader production team handled setup, operations, and teardown, supported by two staff members responsible for cleaning and maintenance throughout the four days. --- ### 6. Online Reach Between October 9 and November 7, the fair’s online presence reached a total of **166,200 views**, with **3,500 interactions**, **254 new followers**, and **104 shared posts**. The main promotional poster surpassed **30,000 views**, and posts announcing selected artists, workshops, and performances reached between **5,000 and 11,000 views**. The account maintained steady organic growth before, during, and after the event. --- ### 7. Closing Notes The **Nounish Fair 2025** consolidated a strong cultural link between Cali’s creative communities and the global Nouns ecosystem. It strengthened networks among local Web3 creators while introducing new participants to decentralized tools and collaborative cultural production. During the two days of the fair (**November 1–2**), more than **100 wallets were opened** through Base App, and total crypto transactions and purchases exceeded **500 USD** across the different stands and artists. Beyond the event itself, the fair left in place a connected community, a functional onboarding experience, and a working marketplace miniapp that continues to evolve. Stay tuned to [Instagram](https://instagram.com/ferianounish) for documentation and updates about the fair, the miniapp, and future editions. This project was supported by **Nouns DAO** through [Proposal #840](https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/840). --- ### Media & References Website: [ferianounish.xyz](https://ferianounish.xyz) Photos: [Drive Gallery](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1J-4Mj36f8X9Aaz2st1e_QtUY_9b10l4p?usp=sharing) Sticker Design Folder: [Google Drive](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1fTnTeVlAOUourUfL3sUcEyyn3DvXL8as?usp=sharing) Miniapp: [ferianounish2025.vercel.app](https://ferianounish2025.vercel.app/)
probe-dream-635 Like the camo accessory, it feels too detailed and visually dominant compared to the rest. It draws attention away from the head and could make that Noun stand out too much, affecting the overall aesthetic balance of the collection
