# Let's take Prop House IRL 💡
[Prop House](https://prop.house) is an excellent entry point for builders in the Nouns ecosystem. The Nouns in Rio team is requesting **10 ETH + 10,500 USDC** to create an immersive 2-day event and take Prop House IRL.
We received so much support from the community [last time](https://nounsagora.com/proposals/360) that we're putting this up again. But unlike our last proposal, which focused on sponsoring a conference and setting up a booth, we're now aiming to host **our very own event.**
This proposal is set to trigger a waterfall effect within Prop House, starting by **bringing in five new communities.** Each community will open gates for thousands of builders, expanding the platform's reach and impact. Keep reading to find out how we'll do it 👇
Prop House is a platform where communities can fund their builders, so we'll make this event community-focused. We'll allocate **2 ETH to each of 5 communities**, with one essential rule: they must use it to establish their houses and conduct their own rounds on Prop House.
People will register for the event and indicate which community they belong to. We'll have a preset list of web3 communities in Rio, but participants will also have the option to add their own. We're expecting around 100 attendees.
## How 👀
To tell the story of Prop House, we need to go back and explain Nouns first. So, the first talk will be about Nouns and how it's growing in Brazil. Then, we'll have a talk about Prop House and how it works. After a break, we’ll host a workshop on writing great proposals and share examples of successful ones.
Participants will then have free time to write and submit their proposals, detailing the rounds they plan to set up in their new house on Prop House, utilizing the 2 ETH prize as a reward. After that, we'll kick off an afterparty, offering a perfect opportunity for communities to interact and engage with each other.
The second day will start with a talk about the CC0 culture hosted by [Public Good Beer](https://twitter.com/publicgoodbeer). After that, we'll offer a workshop on how to set up a Prop House house and plan rounds.
Last but not least, the voting begins! We'll use a [representative system](https://imgur.com/m5eKE99) for fairness. After voting, we'll announce the winners and outline the next steps. # Lo-Fi Noggles Tax Reimbursement
Hey, everyone! [JP](https://twitter.com/eusou_jp) here 🤘
Nouns in Rio received 1000 Lo-Fi Noggles from Klim, thanks to the approval of [Proposal #334](https://nouns.wtf/vote/334). Of these, 300 will go for the Gnars community here in Rio. However, upon arrival in Brazil, we encountered a tax of 2,198.60 Brazilian reais, which we’ve already covered. This proposal aims to reduce a portion of this cost.
## Division
We've allocated the Noggles based on requests from the community and sub-communities. We're submitting a [proposal](https://nounsbr.wtf/vote/9) to NounsBR, suggesting they cover 70% of the tax. Simultaneously, we kindly request that Gnars contribute to cover the remaining 30% of the tax since 30% of the Noggles are destined for the Gnars community in Rio (300 units).
## Costs
Of the tax, 30% amounts to 659.58 Brazilian reais, approximately 0.09 ETH. Additionally, we've considered 2 shipments with an average cost of 40 reais, totaling 80 reais or 0.01 ETH. Thus, NounsBR will contribute 0.25 ETH, and **Gnars will contribute 0.1 ETH** toward covering the expenses.
## Considerations
The values have been converted based on the exchange rate as of 19/10/23. Shipments are scheduled for the coming weeks, and future requests can be made to the Nouns in Rio team, subject to availability. Thank you!

[Nouns in Rio](https://twitter.com/NounsInRio) recebeu 1000 Lo-Fi Noggles do Klim, graças à aprovação da [Proposta #334](https://nouns.wtf/vote/334). Porém, ao chegarem ao Brasil, nos deparamos com um imposto de **2.198,60 reais**, já pago por nós. Esta proposta visa cobrir uma parte desse custo e os envios para a comunidade brasileira.
## Divisão
Dividimos os Noggles com base nas solicitações da comunidade e sub-comunidades. Também vamos subir uma proposta na Gnars para que eles cubram 30% do imposto, já que receberão 30% dos Noggles. Com isso, a NounsBR fica responsável por 70% do valor.
## Custos

[Prop House](https://prop.house) is an excellent entry point for builders in the Nouns ecosystem. The Nouns in Rio team is requesting **9 ETH + 9,500 USDC** to create an engaging Prop House Experience in a hub brimming with innovators.
## How 👀
We plan to create a round in the upcoming Nouns in Rio House and open exclusively* to all [Blockchain Rio](https://blockchainfestival.io/) attendees, a place full of builders aspiring to build for the Web3 ecosystem and push the boundaries of innovation.
A pool of 7 ETH will be designated to back 20 projects, each set to receive 0.35 ETH. Proposals must aim to enhance Prop House in some way, whether through community integration, explainer videos, code development, and more. After the event, Nouners will have a one-week voting window to determine which projects get funded.
**During the event, we'll ask builders interested in submitting a proposal to fill out a form. This ensures that all proposals come from verified event participants.*

We discovered Prop House at an event and from that moment we knew we wanted to create an IRL experience for it. Now, we have the perfect chance. We'll be at the largest Web3 & Business event in Latin America, [Blockchain Rio](https://blockchainfestival.io/), from September 12th to 14th, alongside big names like Polkadot, CoinEx, Polygon, Ledger, and more. It's the ideal place to find passionate builders and introduce them to Prop House.

[Nouns in Rio](https://twitter.com/NounsInRio) team, represented by [JP](https://twitter.com/home) and [Debinvest](https://twitter.com/debinvest), is behind the project. They will be on-site at the lounge to explain Prop House, discuss the round, and assist with wallet creations and proposal submissions.

## Budget 💰
With 7 ETH, we can fund a diverse range of projects with a meaningful ETH value. JP and Debinvest will each receive 1 ETH for managing the project and staffing the lounge during the event. The cost for setting up and operating the event space, which includes event fees and production expenses, will be 9,500 USDC. In case fewer than 20 proposals are submitted, **all remaining ETH will be returned to the DAO.**
## Success ✨
After the event concludes, we'll provide the DAO with both an aftermovie and a detailed report. This report will feature key metrics like site visits during the event (provided by the Prop House team if possible), submitted proposals, QR code scans, and minted POAPs. We'll also extend an invitation to all funded project leads to join the [Nouns in Rio Discord server](https://discord.gg/yBFRt2D894) for ongoing project follow-up, ensuring sustained engagement and support.
To amplify our impact, we'll actively engage the community through our Portuguese Nounish channels like [@nounsinrio](instagram.com/nounsinrio), [@nounsbr](instagram.com/nounsbr) and [@thenounsquarebr](https://www.tiktok.com/@thenounsquarebr). The engagement metrics from these channels will be included in our final report.
