A brand new bike helmet and lock for a child experiencing disadvantage with Variety Bikes for Kids&&[](https://dhgm4ffncnbwt.cloudfront.net/2acfb26c0f33f8216fd765a3efed6f65.jpg) ### TL;DR Variety – the Children’s Charity are submitting a proposal to Blueberry DAO to consider funding a bike helmet and lock through our Variety Bikes for Kids program for a child experiencing disadvantage who would otherwise miss out. Community and connection are important to us - the moment a child receives their brand-new bike is magical and we’d love you to share in this joy. The funded bike would be personally handed over by the Blueberry DAO team to a child on our waitlist at a Nouns branded venue (or the Variety office) in Melbourne. Each bike package costs $245 AUD or 0.095 ETH (market value at time of submission). ### About Variety – the Children’s Charity Variety - the Children's Charity changes the lives of kids living with disability illness or experiencing disadvantage. Variety provides support through the provision of grants for a range of equipment - such as wheelchairs communication devices or all-abilities playgrounds - to provide practical help to kids schools and organisations. We run programs to educate and empower kids who are falling through the cracks. We give scholarships to encourage the talents of kids living with disability or experiencing disadvantage. And last but certainly not least we hold kids’ events to bring joy light and laughter to children in need and their families. Variety was started by a group of entertainers and artists in 1920’s America when a baby named Catherine was abandoned in a theatre discovered by the group who called themselves “The Variety Club”. The group began fundraising to support Catherine and eventually other children. Their good work spread across the US and eventually the world – Variety now operates in 13 countries through 40 offices and has changed the lives of millions of kids across the globe. This proposal is being submitted by Variety – the Children’s Charity Victoria Australia who have taken the lead on crypto philanthropy. Our historical links to the arts innovation and values led us to join Blueberry DAO to support the work of LilPurpberry in their quest to support children’s charities. ### About Variety Bikes for Kids Since its beginnings 21 years ago Variety Bikes for Kids has provided over 13 000 bikes for kids who would otherwise miss out. Thanks to our incredible supporters these thousands of kids have experienced the joy happiness and physical benefits of owning their very own bike. A simple item that many of us take for granted. With the cost of living crisis now more than ever families are under increased strain to cover essential items meaning more kids will miss out on the freedom joy independence and inclusion of owning a bike. Childhood cycling can bring lifelong benefits: - Physically challenging cycling builds fitness and endurance and gets kids out and about enjoying the outdoors. - Sets up lifelong healthy activity habits. - Improves mental health. - Physical activity is positively related to higher academic performance in children. - Owning a bike empowers children that would otherwise miss out to learn how to ride be independent build self-confidence be included with friends. - Bike riding is a positive strategy to support self-confidence depression anxiety and stress allowing the students to move during the day. This is vital to increase engagement and encourage academic success. And of course the simple joy and freedom owning a bike can bring! But don’t just take it from us. The family under consideration are experiencing ongoing disadvantage. A bike would bring much-needed joy inclusion with friends and classmates and all the physical and mental benefits owning a bike can bring. Variety believe kids deserve the best for safety and self-esteem. That's what we purchase quality bikes from Anaconda to make sure kids can enjoy their bikes for years to come. Built for durability in time these bikes can even be passed on to siblings or friends. Variety Bikes for Kids are selected and assembled with the care we show to kids. A full bike package costs $245 AUD or 0.095 ETH (market value at time of submission). ### The Presentation and Promotion of Blueberry DAOs Support Variety proposes the funded bike be presented to the recipient at a Nouns branded venue (e.g. Nouns Deli or Nounish Studios) or the Variety office in Port Melbourne co-branded with Blueberry DAO and Variety and of course a whole lot of fun and smiles with famous Nouns glasses.' The presentation will be supported by a video and photo shoot with the Nouns community PR campaign to local mainstream and Web 3 media and amplified across social media by all stakeholders including the Variety channels with a total audience of over 22 000 followers. The presentation date will be confirmed on availability of Blueberry DAO team and the recipient family. FamilyDAO x MiniHackers - Onboarding the future generation of blockchain innovators&&**MiniHackers - web3 activations designed to inspire kids ** IRL events in web3 and tech rarely consider providing content for the incoming generation of innovators. In the best scenarios ‘child-care’ is provided, but rarely leverages the opportunity to excite the next cohort of thinkers and builders.

 MiniHackers creates engaging and exciting spaces at web3 conferences and events. These spaces provide content and programming with young thinkers in mind. While MiniHackers spaces and programming are designed to cater to any children in attendance, they also serve as physical reminders to those with, or considering, young families, that web3 is a space that embraces the next generation of innovators and those that are raising them. Overview: Founded during ETHBogota by 5 & 7 year old sisters, Ariah and Eirie Mier y Teran, MiniHackers secured a public good recognition by Polygon at the event (https://ethglobal.com/showcase/minihackers-i9w55). Since then, MiniHackers has hosted a children’s space at F3ST in Atlanta, Georgia and co-hosted an educational event at the World Trade Center alongside Miss O Cool Girls, SuperRare, and Ledger. This summer MiniHackers will be partnering with the Otis Redding Foundation to provide web3 education to girls in music and STEM programs in central Georgia. In support of the work Ariah and the MiniHackers team have been doing in organizing web3 and blockchain camps and spaces for kids, the organizers of EDCon have asked Ariah to speak at speak at this month’s event in Montenegro. # Approve $PCASH Developer to ReOrg Claim Safe 2 After initial preliminary voting within the community discussions on Discord, it was proposed to redistribute the $PCASH tokens in "Claim Safe" address 0x62328E88f31aF0b6EF8b77Fb6ba069dD46B2C128. The consensus among voters was that this proposal should be approved on the chain to advise developers to complete the process formally. It was also agreed that 66% or 2/3 of the wallet holdings should be sent to the marketing wallet 0x9c446bb0195d0f2878960D4e38c986Bd693bFa7E. The total amount to be transferred is 4,026,000,000,000 (four trillion, twenty-six billion) to the marketing wallet.

# Allocate 15 ETH to promote Bigcap at the 2023 ETHWarsaw Crypto Convention Currently the Bigcap DAO Treasury contains 15 ETH. We propose allocating 15 ETH of this to promote the Bigcap Project in person at EThWarsaw 2023 in Poland. The official event runs from the 4th - 7th Sep and we would maintain a presence from the 1th - 13th Sep inclusive. ETHWarsaw is one of the biggest Crypto Conventions in Europe with over 3000 attendees. We'd be aiming to raise awareness - bring onboard investors and possible partners as well as potential ladder traders. There won't be a stand but we will be able to give Bigcap a presence there. The two people who will be attending the event will be Greg and Gabbo - both well-known and long-term members of the Signata Community and related projects. Both Greg and Gabbo have worked extensively with Tim on a regular long-term basis with Greg acting as Marketing Manager there since the early days of Signata. Additionally they both have years of real life and internet marketing experience under their belts and extensive conference experience. As it is Greg and Gabbo are already offering this service for other projects and have been doing this for some time already:- 15 ETH is almost half the price they would normally charge to another project - this will include some merchandise. A previous marketing effort where 5 ETH was allocated by a marketing group made up of other community members included commissioning influencers but unfortunately had little lasting effect which is much more a reflection of the current state of the market than it is on the considerable effort made by those involved. This shows that there is not currently enough "fresh blood" in the crypto market to sustain all the new projects - and that marketing towards the same old people who are basically chart hopping and simply cycling through the different projects is not really effective. The big difference here is that this is actual face to face marketing. The opportunity is there to meet with a highly targeted audience of crypto enthusiast investors as well as countless key players in the crypto industry and many team members from different projects - explaining and spreading awareness of the Bigcap project to as many of them as we possibly can. # NFT Collection Development Funding Hi all! Quick "State of the DAO": Our artist Nekobox has whipped up some concept art for the council and we're really happy with what we've seen so we figure we'd give you all a look as well! https://imgur.com/a/ULQpBHX After discussing/estimating timeline and costs we'd like the DAO to transfer some of the raised ETH to the gnosis safe - we're asking for 41 ETH which we will use to cover artist payment promotion efforts and related development and set up FemboyDAO for future projects. For full transparency we will document all expenses and give advance notice whenever possible. We’ll also have Snapshot polls for anything major – while we want to give everyone a chance to weigh in a multisig seems the best fit for the DAO right now to keep things moving. Neko has been very generous with their time and considerate of our budget by only asking for $15/hr; we want to make sure they receive fair compensation - so in addition the council is proposing we give Neko 15% from the initial sale/mints and 20% from collection/marketplace fees. We think this is more than fair and appropriate compensation for Neko for their hard work (rough estimate of >400 hours of work for over 100 traits and 200 recolors).
