I think we are approaching a sort of equilibrium where auctions will likely trade, and I also do not want to risk our nouns sitting in escrow for a prolonged period of time especially since we have the bidet prop we wanted to sponsor but now cant bc fork. Current quorum in nouns is 33, with a max of 50. As more fork, our voting block is increasingly valuable and I would like to try and leverage it.
I am not convinced that we will see an opportunity to buy back lower unless the eth burn mechanism is put into place, which I do not support, or the arb opportunity depletes Nouns DAO to 0 anyways. Deploying capital at a fixed rate (to avoid burn) to stop the arb opportunity will incentivize grifting instead of waiting out for good builders who may have better ideas that require more capital.
I am not confident enough that forking is our best option currently.

Following player feedback, our intention is to release the full game by the end of 2024.
This specific proposal aims to secure funding for the release of the playable demo in December on the Steam store.

# Implement Automation for Tracking Governance Activities

This proposal suggests the creation of additional bots to keep members informed about governance activities related to DAO.
## Summary
I am [Milad](https://discord.com/users/284122483219759105/), and I am presenting this proposal for the development and upkeep of more bots tailored for the Lil Nouns DAO:
* **Prop Lot Bot:** This bot will gather new ideas from Lil Nouns' [official prop lot](https://lilnouns.proplot.wtf/) and share relevant posts within the designated channel.
* **Prop House Bot:** Tasked with collating new proposals from upcoming Lil Nouns' [official house](https://prop.house/lil-nouns) rounds, this bot will promptly relay them to a specified channel.
## Why do we need them?
The necessity for these bots arises from the fact that most active members are already active on **Discord**. Experience has shown that broadcasting on-chain proposal announcements positively impacts voter participation. Regrettably, we currently lack any automated means to inform our Discord members about other avenues of involvement and the latest developments in our **Prop Lot** and **Prop House**.
## What am I going to do next?
My plan entails implementing these bots within a six-week timeframe after the approval of this proposal. Subsequently, I commit to maintaining them and addressing any bugs related to the implementation for one year. Depending on further feature requests, I will decide whether to integrate them within the current proposal or seek additional funding for their performance.
## What else would be considered?
Expanding to other platforms, like Farcaster, will be considered, and future development efforts will be reduced to implementing those platforms.
Compliance with relevant data protection regulations in the implementations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), to protect user privacy would be ensured.
The previously built frameworks and solutions that are accessible will be assessed during first week. They will be integrated if they align with the project's timeline and budget.
Two major bot frameworks, [Nerman](https://nouns.wtf/vote/77) and [BotFrens](https://nouns.wtf/vote/144), already implemented for Nouns, do not possess the features proposed in this proposal.
The software code will be made available to the public under a permissive license. The code will be open source, thereby encouraging collaboration and transparency.
This proposal may involve budget allocation for future maintenance after the initial year, establishing a dedicated maintenance team, or exploring community-driven contributions to maintain the bots' functionality and security.

## TL;DR:
* We are proposing to use our Matr Labs robotics to fabricate 1,001 Nouns on-demand from #0 to #1,000. Artmatr will develop custom software and hardware to pull off this feat, including an exclusive airdropped physical redemption token, MATRing portal with algorithmic and AI creative control, cutting edge tool development, and the extensive code development required to tie it all together. All Noun holders will have the right to customize and claim their respective physical copy(s).
* All shipping and handling costs to deliver the physical work to community members will be covered by Artmatr. We will create or employ a shipping system that ensures anonymity of any address information needed.
* Complementary digital content, including timelapse videos and high-resolution photography, will be available to Nouns holders and the community, and the airdropped redemption tokens will update to display the MATRed Nouns upon completion.
* We will produce a massive Nouniversary event at Artmatr’s gallery, showcasing some of the first MATRed Nouns with live MATRing throughout the day.
* This project will add a significant amount of new value to existing Nouns mints, as well as upcoming auctions. ## Overview
Our [last prop](https://nouns.wtf/vote/224) allowed Artmatr the opportunity to develop and create seven unique paintings of Nouns over the course of one week in March. Each day’s minted Noun was interpreted by our team of artists and engineers and “MATRed” on the same day as a 48” x 48” oil painting with our custom robotic hardware and code. The winner of each auction was given the rights to the corresponding painting. We celebrated the week of Nouns art with a successful public exhibition and VIP opening in our Brooklyn gallery, attended by major artists, gallerists, and auctioneers from the New York art scene.
We’re excited to follow up on the success of Prop 224 with a massive endeavor to bring physical art to every Nouner in the world. With the help of the Nouns community’s creative input, we propose to MATR 1,001 Nouns and distribute them globally to their respective holders. [Each Noun-holding wallet will be airdropped a Matr Labs token that can be redeemed for a physical. ](https://vimeo.com/830696167)We will update the metadata of the token upon redemption with a hi-res image of the Matr’d Noun, which will provide a digital Certificate of Authenticity for each physical piece of art. Supporting this huge development and production effort, we will deploy curated content across a variety of social channels, raising visibility of Nouns DAO and the ways Nouns create value and delight for the both broader Web3 community as well as the community of artists and art collectors that we are fostering.
This project aims to return on investment to the Nouns DAO in as many ways as possible, through high-quality content, marketing, and sponsorship visibility. We will publicly celebrate this endeavor with a huge launch party and exhibition near the August 8th Nouniversary and we will continue to promote this effort through dedicated social channels throughout the rest of the year and into 2024. We also propose that one of our cutting-edge MATR Labs machine racks gets built with custom Nouns sponsorship visibility, so that Noggles and Nouns branding can be seen in the content generated by every piece of art created on the machine.

Prop 224 passed on February 13, 2023, to a resounding yes vote of 151 to 17. We immediately began developing ways we could use our custom robots and software to create a unique oil painting for each Noun over the prescribed week. We developed a number of stylistic directions that required new tools and hours of code development. Ultimately, we created paintings with unique robotically-created textures in the oil paint that brought dimensionality and life to Nouns, and embedded the mint hash into the paintings as well.

We wrote thousands of lines of code to reinterpret the digital images as paintings, honed the tooling, mixed the paint, and arranged the cameras. As proposed, we completed a unique painting of that day’s Noun, on time, and live streamed the entire process, as well as a 3D scan of each finished work for our virtual gallery. The project pushed our technical limits to the edge and allowed us to try new creative techniques that have greatly improved our art-making processes as a whole.

During production time our Twitter and Instagram feeds were full of Nouns as our content and marketing team came up with new and creative ways to showcase the community through the paintings. The project generated great buzz from the community, and generated auction prices above the previous 30-day average, including a 36.69 ETH sale on the genesis painting. The week was capped off with a successful [first-ever exhibition in the Artmatr space in Brooklyn](https://vimeo.com/829178232). The works have been seen and talked about by major collectors, artists, galleries and auction houses, including Christie’s, Pace, Pioneer Works, and many other VIP’s in the crypto and traditional art communities.

Since the passing and success of our last Prop, Artmatr has grown significantly. We’ve scaled up, adding seasoned Project, Operations, and Product Managers, as well as building a dedicated 3 person marketing team. Our engineering team has also expanded, driving our hardware and software development at breakneck speeds. We held an exhibition opening with Zancan at our Brooklyn gallery space that 500 people attended, and other art from the Artmatr lab has been shown at Pace Gallery and Unit London, among other established galleries worldwide. Our Twitter following has more than doubled, and we engage with a diverse and growing audience across our popular Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitch, and Discord channels. Our organic reach has been very strong, maintaining an impressive 10.5% average engagement rate, with over 400k impressions in the period following the original Prop.
We learned specific lessons from the execution of our first proposal. The most important thing is that we want to prioritize total community engagement, both the whole Nouns community and our growing Web3-curious traditional art world community. By scaling down the final pieces and allowing anyone to MATR a Noun using a redemption token, we think this project will have a much broader impact. We also want to stress the effort that we plan to put into this project to raise visibility of the Nouns DAO through our social channels. We see each MATRed piece as an opportunity to spread the word about the creativity of the community and promote the brand, and our automated cameras will capture and produce a timelapse video of the MATRing process of each created work. We will also explore collaborative Nouns MATRing with our community of blue-chip artists.

The tokens can also be traded in the event that a holder does not want a physical, and royalties will be sent to the treasury.

The physical pieces created by the Nouns community and anyone outside who acquires a redemption token will generate increased visibility and value to the DAO, as existing holders and new auction winners alike will be given the opportunity to create a physical representation of their Noun with their own creative input. Additionally, we will also brand our newly-produced robot with Nouns branding, elevating Nouns visibility alongside the growth of this initiative. ## Timeline & Milestones
* Immediately following the acceptance of the proposal, Artmatr will begin development of a custom Nouns DAO creative interface and the construction of a Nouns-sponsored Matr Labs rack. We will open up private social channels on Discord and provide regular updates on the progress made on both the hardware and software development. We will stay active in those channels for enthusiasts of the technology to engage with our team of artists and engineers and also promote the project development publicly via our Twitter & Instagram.
* Artmatr will use the community Nouns as our test materials during the summer development process, and will publish the results as the works are formed.
* Near the public launch of the Matr portal, we will airdrop Matr Labs x Nouns redemption tokens to all wallets holding Nouns. We will continue to distribute those tokens to new holders up to #1,000.
* We will officially launch the token-gated Nouns website for the community to start generating works using the Nouns on August 1. Shortly thereafter, we will host a live gallery event at Artmatr in NYC near the August 8th Nouniversary. We will exhibit the community Nouns created by Artmatr at the event, and allow Nouns holders the ability to create their work live that day.
* The community-exclusive MATRing will remain active until January 31, allowing the community to create unique works of art from the Nouns that they hold in their wallets, utilizing a specialized UI which includes a number of AI and algorithmic features. Noun holders will be able to customize their Noun to create a unique work of art using pens, brushes, and our proprietary painting tools, MATRed on acid-free, archival grade 100 lb Bristol cardstock. The works will be shipped to each community member as they are made free of charge.
* Timelapse video and hi-rez photos of each work will be collected and collated by our automated systems, and will be used to generate additional visibility of the project via dedicated Twitter and Discord channels. The content will also be available on our website, and used to update the metadata of the redemption tokens, transforming the airdrop into a new collection of MATRed Nouns.
* We commit to doing everything we can to ensure the anonymity of the Nouns DAO community. We are closely aligned with a number of other cryptoart companies who have been working to address this issue (Artfora, for example) and we are working with them on solutions. We are exploring address escrow services, secure databases that automatically delete information after use, and other methods. We want to work with the community in a variety of ways to ensure as many people have access to physical prints as possible and would post instructions on how to address a package to a UPS store or PO Box for additional anonymization.

I have been back and forth. I still believe nouns are one of our best investments we can make, but I think we are lacking proper marketing and structure around our builder pipeline. I think with some restructuring and marketing/content, we can grow to be known as the place where builders would be insane not to start. If we can fix our sponsorship bottleneck and monetize a fraction of all successful proposals that come through us, I think our Nouns value proposition becomes more obvious and beneficial to the whole dao, and not just those who care about prophouse/nouns governance. I think this will incentivize builders, and those who care about governance, to come here thus increasing demand for our token. If we cannot figure out how to attract builders who want to build for Nouns with 17 votes to back them, then I do not see what difference another 3 votes will make.
# Claim $LIL token from NFTX
The DAO has the ability to obtain the accrued interest of $LIL tokens from our NFTX pool position. It currently possesses 96% of the Lil Nouns NFTX pool liquidity, which has earned 31.905 $LIL over its lifetime. This proposal seeks to claim the accrued $LIL tokens and add them to the DAO's treasury. Once acquired, the DAO can propose to distribute them as compensation or redeem them for Lil Noun tokens, which can be utilized according to the DAO's discretion.
# Claim Nouns Vision Disco NFTs
Lil Nouns DAO is eligible to claim two pairs of Nouns Vision RGB Disco glasses since we own Noun 102 and Noun 184. This proposal is to send these two redeemable NFTs to our treasury. # Giving Lil Nouns as utility to PFP project

## Here's the plan...

### Summary
Get-By connects formerly incarcerated and underemployed people with small business owners looking to fill on-demand shifts. Get-By operates a mobile on-demand marketplace with pre-screened and pre-vetted applicants, allowing managers to make quick and data-driven hiring decisions while alleviating the stress of finding workers urgently. Get-By serves as an opportunity for the underemployed to establish professional relationships, credibility and begin on a path towards long-term employment. Get-By is an Anchorage Alaska based Business to Business Software and Staffing as a Service business. This proposal will support Get-By by raising awareness around fair-chance hiring while proliferating the NounsDAO and associating it with a social impact business.
Funds proposed will be used to launch Get-By and to integrate Nounish branding into the display of the Initial Get-By Job Fair booth. The intention for this proposal is to lay the groundwork for future collaborations between Get-By and NounsDAO/subDAOs to market and connect Web3 employment opportunities to formerly incarcerated and underemployed job seekers. This initial proposal will allow Lilskrtskrt to inform potential job seekers that the funding to launch Get-By was sourced from this community! How can this community be a vehicle for them to achieve their dreams?!

This is a nounish proposal that seeks to build collaboration between the NounsDAO and subDAOs and a social impact business Get-By, proliferating the Nounish brand while making the ecosystem and community more accessible to more of our formerly incarcerated community members.
### Detailed Explanation
Through a CCO co-branding relationship Lilskrtskrt.eth seeks to:
a. Proliferate the Lil Nouns and Nounish DAOs brand and culture:

### Proliferation / Utility
a. This proposal will proliferate the NounsDAO meme and culture by proliferating the Lil Nouns DAO and Nounish subDAOs through its aesthetic use of the noggles and Lil Nouns characters. The Get-By logo is aesthetically similar to the NounsDAO logo, the two logos will be displayed together. The nounish merchandise that will be designed/funded through this proposal will aid Lilskrtskrt in successfully launching the business while raising awareness about the Nouns and Web3 ecosystems.
Any interested parties who approach the Job Fair Booth will have the opportunity to (win/receive) merchandise by playing a game or scanning a QR code at the Booth.
***This merchandise will be available at the Job Fair Booth and for the initial cohort of workers, later online for purchase, we want to be sure that our first cohort of workers have their swag.***
b. The culture of nounishness is synonymous with the values of Get-By:
*Get-By was founded as an attempt to solve a problem that lilskrtskrt.eth faces himself, he saw a void in available opportunities and decided to create a solution that matches his lived experience. He has bootstrapped the business to this point and has found difficulty accessing funding, while being unemployed. This proposal and collaboration, if successful, would provide adequate funding to launch the business and recruit a first cohort of shift workers. This proposal could be a pilot for setting standards/expectations for the NounsDAO/subDAOs for working with marginalized entrepreneurs.*
c. In addition to further proliferating the meme and culture, this proposal would add goodwill and social capital to the ecosystem. ### Team / Qualifications
Lilskrtskrt.eth has spent the last 7 years living in Anchorage as a reintegrated citizen. Post release he decided to formalize his technical abilities, learning to use data to inform decision making while performing database management and modeling analyses in life sciences and blockchain applications. He did so to be more competitive in the workplace. Ultimately Lilskrtskrt was not able to transition into professional roles due to a lack of credibility. Instead he has hopped from one small business to another working as a busser, dishwasher, delivery driver, food production assistant, server, cold caller, accounting technician, and data entry specialist. Get-By is the answer to this inefficient and ineffective pattern of employment, and his passion for technology and social justice. This may also include Get-By workers working shifts with Client Businesses while wearing this nifty new merch.
***While Lilskrtskrt continues his work in advocacy and launching Get-By he will meet many people involved in the small business ecosystem, the reentry services ecosystem, and the venture capital ecosystem. There are opportunities to discuss the Nouns ecosystem and the democratization of community funded projects along the way, this has already begun.***

### Next Steps
* **Lilskrtskrt.eth uses raised capital to raise awareness and launch Get-By.**
Q1 2023 Get-By intends to recruit it’s first cohort of shift workers, no less than 10. These workers will have the option to commit to different shifts listed on the platform.
* **If opportunities arise for Web3 “shift” or contract work, those opportunities can be listed on the Get-By platform with payout denominated primarily in USD.**
This could present a marketing opportunity for projects looking for work who are willing to source through the Web3/NounsDAO ecosystem, in doing so we could prove that they are employing marginalized folks which improves “DEI” efforts.
* **In future rounds Get-By may return to the DAO for further support and assistance.**
This may vary from grant funding for Web3 shifts, to proposals requesting funding for training for workers, to additional merchandise, to developing piloting and implementing a Nouns based Web3 workforce development internship program.
* **The scope for future funding requirements has not yet been determined.**
The total cost to operate the business for a year while employing 10 workers (including payroll taxes) is no less than $30,000 (~23.8ETH)
* **Potential future revenue streams** for the project may include integrating Lil Nouns or other Nounish subDAO tokens as incentives for shift workers, boosting proliferation, onboarding, and participation and involving a marginalized group of Americans who are often unheard from. There will be opportunities to receive certifications based on skill development such as the Nounishdojo, if integrated, these certifications could drive revenue back to the DAO and provide a training mechanism for underskilled potential workers to upskill to provide more value to the DAO, and Web3 as a whole.
* **For future proposals:** there may be future potential to create a subDAO around community driven proposals and participation that boost the stories of the formerly incarcerated and work to direct proposals in ways that are mutually beneficial for this group of potential community members.
I think we should wait. We have 60 eth left for acquisitions, and this would put our treasury at 250 eth. I want to see the incentive to buy more nouns align with our builders succeeding on chain there. If we can't get support in Nouns DAO then we should preserve our treasury to spend on our own builders and proliferate the meme.
I'd like to see you lean more into the twitter threads as a means of spreading this information. I assume the bear market is hurting engagement and growth, but i do appreciate you lowering cost here. I still lean towards thinking its expensive, but I value the work you've done on this for so long and want you to keep doing it. Please keep up the good work and try and leverage twitter threads as best you can!

I think this idea would bring a short term boost in token sales at best. With VRGDA sandbox deploying tomorrow, I think we should hold off and experiment with that instead.
