Neither monografia nor me are comfortable having the proposer who we don't know and who has a "fresh" wallet and has been accumulating DAO tokens as a vetoer, even if intentions could be pure.

While I like the spirit of the proposal, it doesn't feel very scalable, and I agree on most comments about the name 'Nouns University'. While I would be interested in seeing Nouns grants/fellowships for students, this doesn't feel like the right implementation.

I like the team, and probe.wtf by itself is very nounish. That being said, the ask feels a little high & the proposal a little all over the place. Would love to fund the team. I'd be inclined in favor of specific, smaller proposals (bigger focus on what exactly is being built/specific deliverables) *or* counterintuitively, a broader grant to the team as developer-artists-in-residence (bigger focus on aesthetics & vision). This current proposal feels like something in between. Should this not pass, I hope to see a new proposal by the same team soon!

With over $2M in funding for past props*, and 0 signals/comments, nor a single Noun bought from auction among all four, I have my doubts about the significant impact their (potential) participation in governance would have. Might be more inclined to vote in favor if this was a simple gift without any projections of benefits to the DAO, but under the current premise I’m against. *This is not to disparage past contributions which were funded & rewarded by Nouns. And doesn’t imply that I think all $2M+ went to Seth, Eric, Chris, & Neil (much of it went to other contributing parties, or to OTG) - Just that with that much involvement, there being no visible interest in governance other that “choosing their Nouns” doesn’t inspire much hope for “significant impact”.

I'd use these notifications myself, although as many others I'm somewhat on the edge on this one - but seeing as the team has proven itself already as builders & the ask is more or less reasonable, I'm happy to take a chance on this. Would love for the team to optimize for what seems to gain most traction with users, as opposed to a "ship & done" type of deal. Especially interested in everything that makes governance easier - Good luck!

This is sweet, in favor of swapping. Especially as the pickle is quite cool on its own, and paperclip or paperclip labs just makes sense. Agree with jesse that voting for proposals like these, in the way we do now seems somewhat inefficient.

For safer, directer, and more affordable access to Nouns DAO for smaller players. For being able to tip and reward contributors with a stake in Nouns DAO without having to fork over a Noun. For auditing the contract that would make that possible. To me the risk reward seems about right. "Everything I did in my life that was worthwhile, I caught hell for"

For physical embodiments of Nouns, not sure there'd be demand for these. That being said, reasonable ask. I was about to abstain, then saw who's on the payroll/team (i.e. Aubtoshi, who's not mentioned in the prop at all for some reason? And has yet to return funds from Prop 206 - 0xD16Ac71b7bfF00E01768723Bc0991fCC4b382164 ) Hope this doesn't pass. Hiding team members who have received (big) funding before and have soft rugged is not a great look.

Torn on this one, ultimately agree with Coral & Brennen. With Coral mainly on small aesthetic things, with Brennen on the desired origin of new Nouns heads. Majority of "For" votes right now come from people with an arguably vested interest. Off the cuff it's hard to think of something more nounish than a global pizza party: It's fun, ambitious, weird, and wholesome. Coming from a team that has proven it can execute, it makes sense for Nouns to contribute & show presence on what might be the most well-known crypto holiday, across major cities worldwide. While often used as an anecdote for the ever-increasing value of crypto, on May 22nd 2010, crypto has proven its practicality as a currency - something usable for real-world services - a milestone that has paved the way for even Nouns to exist & function as it does today.

My understanding is that Nouns Cares aims to bring aesthetics to existing substance within Nouns (proposals), which I do find intriguing as how imwylin says - not everyone is a marketer. Especially many technical builders who build amazing things. There’s definitely something there. But seemingly fitting, while the aesthetics are there in this proposal, it’s really quite hard to get to the substance. Respectfully, it’s painfully GPT-esquely written, which drags throughout most of the prop. I believe, but am not sure, the tl;dr is - “We help approved props which have substance, by providing aesthetics & marketing guidance” (free of charge to the individual proposers?) I don’t think quarterly white papers “focusing on the latest trends, insights and strategies within the Web3 space” are of value or something that should be funded by Nouns. Key Performance Indicators are mentioned but none set for this very prop. Big brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Stake (the gambling site?), Amazon and the NBA are name dropped here, where the potential relation to Nouns is unclear, and even if feasible might very well not be wanted (i.e. a gambling site). Again, there’s definitely something here, but I’m not confident in how highly technical builders who would theoretically benefit most from this, would actually be onboarded or be helped by this specifically. Further, it just doesn’t seem like the right culture fit.

Doing good is good, appearing good is good too. But funding-wise, I’m not sure we should spend more than 1/3 on 'appearing', especially when it’s not outlined beyond merch & a video recap. I’d be much more comfortable voting yes for a prop where more than 90% goes directly to the 'doing good' part. Additionally my hope is that our relationship with Sarah Culbertson is more of what brennen is describing, and less of a paid speaking engagement (where we as Nouns would simply be joining the ranks of Capital One, AT&T & RBC Insurance Services, Inc., etc. - In which case it's not about who we’d be paying, but rather the principle of allocating funds for a professional speaker’s fees that I'd find painfully not nounish). Building wells is nounish, which is why I’m voting yes. Cautiously optimistic on everything else part of this prop.

Easy yes. The budget is more than reasonable, clearly outlined and doesn't get diluted by other costs. The risk/reward makes this a no-brainer IMHO. Excited to see the most Nounish Hacks!

Huge respect for ATX DAO & am a fan of hyper local Web3 communities. Agree with others - especially krel - here that the ask is big, and yet feels spread thin. I would be in favor of a smaller ask for a specific project that would bring value to Nouns as well as to ATX DAO & going from there. I believe the Noggles at the Texas Eclipse might be a great standalone prop, for example - and it'd be much easier to outline & track success metrics. ATX DAO becoming ATX Nouns seems like the main benefit to Nouns here & I would love to see that happen, but maybe not in one big leap.

Necessary for active governance. Lots of delegates (and maybe nouners?) couldn't afford or at least wouldn't bother to vote consistently if it wasn't for vote refunds. Big yes. Long-term a less gas-intensive voting mechanism would be great to see, but continuing to subsidize voting doesn't mean not looking for better ways to vote.

A very big ask to become a 'featured brand and partner'. I feel like there's too many uncertainties and variables when it comes to "how nounish" parts of the HOPE Austin Art Park will become. Most/All of the support seems to stem from trust in Brennen, despite existing concerns about the proposal itself. As for the 'cultural revolution' Nouns could be supporting, I have to agree with mikegood - the vibes are off a bit. It all feels a bit more gentrifying than it does nounish, IMHO. As much as I want Nouns to be funding bigger & more ambitious proposals, I'm not comfortable voting in favor on this one.

I like it! Solid proposal with a very reasonable ask. I do share Benjamin's concern on the length of individual episodes. 3 minutes isn't very long for a Youtube video, where the norm has become 10+ as far as I can tell (which can then be further chopped up for other platforms). Would be amazing to see more than 15 minutes of video content, even if it's less polished than the "main" thing. Big fan of the series being CC0, which could help with distribution.

Farcaster seems like it's on the brink of something, it feels like the right time to not be stingy & see what could be created. Rounds like these *always* are a leap of faith, but the potential upside is much more than the capital that'd be deployed. Excited for this to go through, for the teams whose attention we might catch because of this & what they'll build.

Love the way of proposing new art in this way, a refreshing proposal to see and vote on. Not loving the Bowlcut as a head trait within Nouns for two major reasons: 1. It would stand out as feeling more like an invisible 'person' rather than 'noun' (which can be said of the 'Hair' trait too TBF, unless you just think of it as a wig. But it is already an outlier in that sense). 2. It doesn't remind me as much of CrypToadz as much as it reminds me of "Woody", as I feel you've built a sort of brand around the Bowlcut. That being said, I'd be excited if this starts a new meta of proposing traits as you did!
