@0xFC53...6183
that's not a true democracy. you can't reflect for/against preferences, so it won’t work as you picture it. we would have another whale with a centralized committee that could dictate the outcome of every proposal, and we wouldn't be able to revoke delegation ever.
a better use of those Nouns is either:
- burn them; or
- distribute all 572 Nouns sitting in the treasury
>
>
> Some Nouncilers are holders, others delegates.
>
> Why? -- I was trying to suggest a group 'everyone' joins, and has equal weight, and using the delegation as a carrot to grow the group to literally everyone -- a true democracy within Nouns. But as we can see from the outcome here, voters obviously don't want to see that for a number of reasons. Which is okay... Was a bad idea to suggest it, I guess.

> directionally support trav, but I don't think this is leaning enough into his capabilities. "Just" media curation and 1:1 distribution doesn't build forward enough. I'm FOR supporting trav with a larger budget to edit/remix originals that cut through, as well as something that trav can build and own without the main dependency being on others to provide media.
+1
> Agree with Benjamin on this one......I would love to see more original content vs just reposts(reposts too of course), even if that means asking for more $. I would also like to get the metrics of how the engagement/visibility/follower count has increased over time since this is funding round #3.
+1
> For a Nouns funded project, the lack of Noggles is a significant issue. Noggles are the primary visual identifier of the brand. Even as an optional accessory, they are essential to bridge the gap between general toy and Nounish toy. Without them, the brand alignment feels too weak in my opinion. Looking at them without previous context, no one would have any idea these are Nouns.
>
> The proposal centers on the Taipei Toy Festival as the primary activation, yet the production timeline suggests the toys won't be ready until Christmas 2026. This creates a disconnect...we are funding an activation where the primary product won't be available.
>
> The distribution and sales strategy remains unclear. Is this a marketing expense (treasury funds spent for exposure) or a commercial venture? Furthermore, there are no hard metrics or KPIs for success. I am concerned that this proposal relies too heavily on "vibes" rather than concrete, measurable outcomes that the DAO can use to evaluate the success of this capital allocation.
>
> I would be open to supporting a revised version that includes clear branding, a production schedule that aligns with the event, and a concrete plan for distribution and data collection.
+1
> these look cute. event is good as well. I am abstaining since I would want Nouns to receive substantial royalties OR majority share of anything where it is funding production.

# nouns center irl
## tl;dr
an IRL space for art, culture, and the open internet.
a place to learn and use Ethereum
a place to build upon Nouns
a place to connect with builders
a place to create art
a place to enjoy culture
a place to grab a coffee
an art, tech, and culture node. an accessible entry point.
a hub for learning, creating, and sharing.
unexpected convergences, spontaneous dialogue, shared energy, and entropy. creative chaos that sparks new ideas, connections, and learning.
the goal is to establish a **public-facing, everyday point of contact** between Ethereum, and a broader audience, all shaped by Nouns art. while most crypto activity remains online or event-based, there is a gap in continuous, physical presence. this space addresses that by operating daily and engaging people through culture, learning, and casual interaction.
think of these spaces, but Nouns + Ethereum in CDMX:
- [NDSM in Amsterdam](https://www.ndsm.nl/)
- [Copenhagen Contemporary in Denmark](https://copenhagencontemporary.org/)
- [MoMA PS1 in NY](https://www.momaps1.org/)
- [Hong Kong Arts Centre in Hong Kong](https://hkac.org.hk/)
- [RAW-Gelände in Berlin](https://raw-gelaende.de/)
that's the ambitiuos ultimate goal. it will take years, a lot of work, and several partners.
but, it's ok to start small. so phase one has to be achievable compared to the bigger picture. that's why here i outline the creation of a permanent IRL Nouns Center in Mexico City (CDMX): a Nouns-shaped hybrid cultural center, Ethereum education hub, and specialty coffee.

## concept
onboarding to Ethereum remains fragmented and often intimidating. a space that blends art, education, and hospitality lowers that barrier through:
- engagement with contemporary art and cultural programming
- access to Ethereum in an approachable, human setting
- creation through workshops and residencies
- informal, enriched interaction through a café environment
so this space can be seen as:
- an art and culture node
- an Ethereum entry point
- a hub for creative and technical exchange
- a platform for local communities
## core components
### 1. nouns
a consistent program of workshops, talks, residencies, music, and exhibitions as an entry point for new audiences. expanding reach beyond purely technical or financial users.
- exhibitions, talks, concerts
- artist residencies
- public programming with open access
### 2. ethereum
a structured yet approachable education layer focused on Ethereum and the open internet. Latin America has shown crypto adoption, but education remains uneven and often inaccessible.
- intro (and advanced) workshops to Ethereum
- peer-to-peer onboarding
- sessions with ecosystem contributors
### 3. café
a specialty coffee and bakery offering, contributing to daily foot traffic beyond events.
- consistent audience flow
- informal conversations and exposure
- revenue contribution
### 4. hub
a flexible environment for coworking and events within local communities.
- coworking area
- community-led programming
- event rentals revenue contribution
## why
physical environments where the open internet can be discussed, questioned, and contextualized in public are needed more than ever.
crypto, AI, DeFi, governance, real-world integration, etc., these conversations already happen online or at dedicated temporary spaces. there's no third space for the reach, discussion, and exchange of ideas between old and new audiences.
Nouns has the recognition and flexibility to act as a **cultural layer within Ethereum**, just as we've done as a DAO for almost 5 years and, personally (as a contributor), in more than a dozen hackathons with the Nouns Fair ([162](https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/162), [257](https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/257), [527](https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/527)) and at Devconnect in Argentina ([855](https://propdates.nouns.wtf/prop/855)).
a local hub for Ethereum discourse
a place where Ethereum and Nouns become culturally visible
a bridge between technical ecosystems, builders, and everyday people
## partners
we are going to need help from several Ethereum-aligned organizations across the ecosystem to make this work. a few in mind are:
- Ethereum Foundation
- Octant
- Rainbow
- Bitso
- Ethereum México
- etc.
so they can contribute to:
- workshops and educational sessions
- product demos and onboarding
- programming sponsorship
- hackathons and conferences
## CDMX
the city has become an active node for crypto and fintech events:
- [Stablecoin Conference 2026](https://stablecoinconferencelatam.com/)
- [ETHGlobal Mexico](https://ethglobal.com/events/ethmexico)
- [Ethereum México](https://www.ethmexico.org/)
- [Monad Blitz](https://www.monadmexico.dev/eventos/blitz-cdmx)
- [Stripe Commons](https://x.com/stripe/status/2029352879979626840)
however, all these are **temporary events**. there are no permanent hubs in the city supporting continuous engagement.
this proposal addresses that.
## sustainability
the space is designed for partial cost recovery over time. reducing dependency on ongoing funding and increasing long-term viability. initial revenue streams:
- food & beverage sales
- space rentals
- paid workshops and programs
- brand partnerships and sponsorships
the goal is progressive sustainability to keep the hub going and set it to grow over the years.
## budget
### setup costs: $70,000 -- upfront
- space buildout, design, furniture: $25,000
- café equipment, initial setup: $35,000
- permits, legal, branding: $10,000
### 12-month runway: $141,000 ($11,750/mo) -- streamed
3mo upfront ($35,250), 9mo streamed ($105,750)
- rent: $42,000 ($3,500/mo)
- supplies and utilities: $18,000 ($1,500/mo)
- staff, operations, marketing: $63,000 ($5,250/mo)
- programming and events: $18,000 ($1,500/mo)
the initial target location is around the Condesa-Roma-Escandón-Juárez area, with high foot traffic, suited for realistic sustainability from the first month.
all revenue streams (café, space rentals, workshops, partnerships) will be initially split 50% for future runway/growth and 50% to contribute back to the Nouns treasury.
> the current transactions are illustrative. a Safe will be created to receive funds.
## what to expect
a home for Nouns
a hub for the Ethereum ecosystem
a platform for artists, builders, and local communities
a revenue stream for Nouns
a stepping stone for a potentially more ambitious place for culture, art and Ethereum
--
open to input and iterations.

# Nouns Center IRL
## TL;DR
An IRL space for art and crypto.
- A place to learn Ethereum
- A place to enjoy Nouns
- A place to connect builders
- A place to create
- A place to grab a coffee
An art, tech, and culture node. An accessible entry point to crypto.
Unexpected convergences, spontaneous dialogue, shared energy, and entropy
creative chaos that sparks new ideas, connections, and learning.
A hub for learning, creation, and sharing.
--
This proposal outlines the creation of a permanent IRL Nouns Center in Mexico City: a hybrid cultural center, crypto education hub, and specialty coffee shop.
The objective is to establish a **public-facing, everyday point of contact** between Nouns, Ethereum, and a broader audience. While most crypto activity remains online or event-based, there is a gap in continuous, physical presence. This space addresses that gap by operating daily and engaging people through culture, learning, and casual interaction.
--

## Concept
This idea proposes a physical environment where multiple entry points into crypto and culture coexist.
It matters because onboarding to crypto remains fragmented and often intimidating. A space that blends art, education, and hospitality lowers that barrier.
The space enables:
- Engagement with contemporary art and cultural programming
- Access to crypto knowledge in an approachable, human setting
- Opportunities for creation through workshops and residencies
- Informal, repeated interaction through a café environment
Positioned as:
- An art and culture node
- An accessible entry point to crypto
- A hub for creative and technical exchange
## Core Components
### 1. Cultural Program
A consistent program of exhibitions, talks, and workshops.
**Why it matters:** culture is a proven entry point for new audiences. It expands reach beyond purely technical or financial users.
- Exhibitions, talks, concerts
- Artist residencies
- Public programming with open access
### 2. Crypto Literacy
A structured but approachable education layer focused on Ethereum and adjacent tools.
**Why it matters:** Latin America shows strong crypto adoption, but education remains uneven and often inaccessible.
- Intro workshops (wallets, Ethereum, public goods, etc.)
- Peer-to-peer onboarding
- Sessions with ecosystem contributors
### 3. Daily Activation (Café)
A specialty coffee and bakery offering.
**Why it matters:** sustained foot traffic is critical. A café creates daily reasons to visit beyond events.
- Consistent audience flow
- Informal conversations and exposure
- Revenue contribution
### 4. Flexible Space
A modular environment for coworking and events.
**Why it matters:** enables continuous use and embeds the space within local communities.
- Coworking area
- Event rentals
- Community-led programming
## Why IRL Matters
There is an increasing need for **physical environments where crypto can be discussed, questioned, and contextualized in public**.
Much of the ecosystem evolves rapidly. AI + crypto convergence, regulation, DAO governance, and real-world integration. These conversations often happen in fragmented online channels.
A space like this allows Nouns to **host and shape those conversations**, not just participate in them.
- A place for dialogue, not just consumption
- A place where ideas are tested in public
- A place where Ethereum and Nouns become culturally visible
Nouns has the recognition and flexibility to act as a **cultural layer within Ethereum**, just like we've done as a DAO for almost 5 years and recently at [Devconnect in Argentina](https://propdates.nouns.wtf/prop/855).
This space becomes:
- A local salon for Ethereum discourse
- A platform for thoughtful, ongoing conversations
- A bridge between technical ecosystems and everyday people
## Partners & Ecosystem Alignment
This initiative is designed to collaborate with aligned organizations across the Ethereum ecosystem.
**Why it matters:** partnerships increase credibility, content quality, and reach.
Potential collaborators include:
- Ethereum Foundation
- Octant
- Rainbow
- Bitso
- Etc.
Roles may include:
- Workshops and educational sessions
- Product demos and onboarding
- Sponsorship of programming
- Participation in talks and discussions
## Mexico City as a Crypto Hub
Mexico City has become an active node for crypto and fintech events.
This matters because it validates demand for ongoing, physical infrastructure.
Relevant activity includes:
- Stablecoin Conference 2026 — gathering global fintech leaders and crypto companies ([Stablecoin Conference Latam](https://stablecoinconferencelatam.com/))
- Bitso events and ecosystem initiatives
- ETHGlobal Mexico — hackathons attracting global builders ([ETHGlobal](https://ethglobal.com/events/ethmexico))
- Ethereum México — ongoing workshops and local education ([Ethereum México](https://www.ethmexico.org/))
Across Latin America, crypto events and conferences continue to grow, driven by real-world adoption and experimentation ([Bleap](https://www.bleap.finance/blog/best-crypto-events-in-latam)).
However, most of these are **temporary events**. There is limited permanent infrastructure supporting continuous engagement.
This proposal addresses that.
## Sustainability Model
The space is designed for partial cost recovery over time.
**Why it matters:** reduces dependency on ongoing funding and increases long-term viability.
Revenue streams:
- Food & beverage sales
- Space rentals
- Paid workshops and programs
- Brand partnerships and sponsorships
The goal is **progressive sustainability**, not full profitability.
## Budget
**Total request: \~$211,000 USD**
### Setup Costs (\~$85,000 USD)
- Space buildout, design, furniture: \~$25,000
- Café equipment + initial setup: \~$35,000
- Legal, branding, initial setup costs: \~$10,000
- Launch programming + marketing: \~$15,000
### 12-Month Runway (\~$126,000 USD)
- Rent and utilities: \~$54,000 (\~$4,500/mo)
- Staff (3): \~$55,200 (\~$4,600/mo)
- Programming and events: \~$12,000 (\~$1,000/mo)
- Contingency buffer: \~$4,800 (\~$400/mo)
## Expected Outcomes
- Continuous, physical presence for Nouns in Latin America
- Increased exposure to Ethereum and crypto literacy
- A cultural hub within the Ethereum ecosystem
- A platform for artists, builders, and local communities
This proposal focuses on a durable intervention: a space that operates daily, integrates culture with crypto, and enables ongoing interaction with the Ethereum ecosystem.
It is designed to be practical, adaptable, and open to iteration.

I have worked for the DAO before on stream-based proposals, and I'm used to constantly sharing my work publicly. This budget will allow me to commit to and prioritize my time with the DAO in 2026.mono:-nouns-dao-steward
We are excited to share what happened and the results from bringing Nouns to Devconnect, Argentina 2025. Let's recap!
## Before the event
On Saturday the 15th, we gathered with the resident artists at the local art studio of one of them. [Yoli Taller ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/yolitaller/). A few were already into Nouns and Ethereum, while most were new to the ecosystem, though some had explored Tezos in 2021. It helped everyone to know each other, set the context (Nouns and Ethereum), and be on sync during the following week at Devconnect.

## Day 0
The Nouns Fair setup happened on Sunday, 16th. We brought everything that day: the riso printer, scanners, laser printer, heat press, tables, chairs, ping pong, *sapo* game, puffs, merch, art supplies, signaling, and the Nouns museum (small exhibition of nounish objects).

Later that day, a [Jazz and Skate event ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/zimardrp/0xfe4f5ae3) commanded by the Gnars crew warmed up the engines for what would be a whole week of nounish activities. And yes, they had the noggle rail, and even a fashion parade courtesy of Gneric Vibes.
A brief visual recap of day 0:
- https://farcaster.xyz/0xmonografia/0x3071ed13
## Day 1
On the first day (Monday 17th), doors opened at 8:30 am. We started welcoming attendees and kicked off the Nouns art residency, live riso printing (powered by [Estudio Mafia ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/estudiomafia/)), live merch printing (powered by [Lando Studio ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/lando.studio/)), live animation, the Nouns museum, coworking area, and the chill and play corners. Soon after, the space was full of people. People came in waves but there was never a moment when the space wasn’t buzzing with activity. It was the same for the following days.

As for the art residency, we invited a mixed group of illustrators and animators. We created separate spaces and setups for the drawing lab and animation lab. Two illustrators worked on their artworks to be printed and minted each day, while the rest worked on other art-related activities and learned about Nouns and Ethereum. Animators had a different schedule because they had a stop-motion setup and facilitated a series of workshops with the general public.
The mix of local artists and well-known Noun artists was a perfect match that helped spark conversations about art, Nouns, and crypto in general.
Our final list of artists looked like this:
- ~~Kidd~~ (cancelled his participation due to health issues)
- [PAM! PAM! ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/pamiloceirone/)
- [Flor Gavilan ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/flordenciagavilan/)
- [Nadie ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/nadiecito.eth)
- [GabiCoco ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/gabicoco_/)
- [Juan Pez ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/holajuanpez/)
- [Jess Bianchi ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/jessbianxi/)
- [Fattybuthappy ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/fattybuthappy)
- [Marce Do ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/_marcedom/)
- [Bure ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/bure)
- [Trini Perinetti ↗︎](https://www.instagram.com/trestristestrinas/)
- [Pauher ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/pauher) (animator)
- [Ann/Yuyarikuna Films ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/yuyarikunafilms) (animator)
On this day, we printed and minted the main poster:
- [Nouns x Ethereum World's Fair by Bure↗︎](https://highlight.xyz/mint/base:0x25216f442724faA19a6563Ac0cCD0A383CA2A9D0:1) (available for minting!)
Attendees had to mint this NFT to get a customized Nouns t-shirt and mint our POAP to get a free print. We repeated this every day, asking people to mint the NFT of the day to get the print of the day, for free. This way, we incentivized people to use Ethereum. For people familiar with crypto, this was an easy task; for new users, it was challenging.

This day the first two artworks of the residency were created. They were minted and printed the day after:
- [NOUNS x PAM! PAM! - AMIGO123 ↗︎](https://highlight.xyz/mint/base:0x25216f442724faA19a6563Ac0cCD0A383CA2A9D0:3) (left) (available for minting!)
- [Nouns x Flor Gavilan ↗︎](https://highlight.xyz/mint/base:0x25216f442724faA19a6563Ac0cCD0A383CA2A9D0:2) (right) (available for minting!)

Our two animators in residence facilitated a workshop where they animated people coming to the booth.

And of course, our friends at Gnars and Nouns Builder were present, hacking with their good vibes 🛹🤘 as well as Gneric Vibes showcasing her fashion collection ✨⚡️.

Here's a brief video recap of day 1:
## Day 2
On Tuesday, 18th, we were glad to host Humpty and his 'Onchain Creator Rally' ([prop 868 ↗︎](https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/868)). He kick-started the day with a two-hour session at the booth, making content, recording interviews, and engaging with the artists in residence, and the Nouns Fair and Estudio Mafia crews. You can learn more about it [here ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/humpty.eth/0xd8c2ff1f), [here ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/humpty.eth/0x6b8f97a4), and a retrospective from [Humpty himself ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/humpty.eth/0x37cf1137) (appreciate the kind words!).
We also had Gramajo doing his 'Lil Scavenger Hunt' ([Lil Nouns prop 341 ↗︎](https://lilnouns.camp/proposals/341)), including the Nouns booth as one of the locations, bringing more fun and people to the space to connect and play Nouns. You can learn more [here ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/gramajo.eth/0x47a63103) and [here ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/gramajo.eth/0xc7cf2b18).

On the other hand, Benjamin Latsko hosted the App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨ ([prop 870 ↗︎](https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/870)) with top speakers from the Ethereum Foundation, ENS, Aave, Farcaster, Octant, and [more ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/chaskin.eth/0x99e64765). Even though it happened in a different part of the venue, we collaborated closely to amplify both efforts and set up a live painting area for three artists.

As for the art residency, Pauher and Ann/Yuyarikuna Films animated live while Nadie and GabiCoco worked on their illustrations:

## Day 5
On Friday, the 21st, we did something different. We turned the space into an art market where artists sold their publications, comics, and prints. We joined them, too, in our first-ever experiment to sell nounish goods. Even Gramajo joined selling [Nouns Burners ↗︎](https://farcaster.xyz/gramajo.eth/0xe8c4ce35). The Nouns booth was also the set for the most listened-to crypto podcast in Latam by [Espacio Cripto ↗︎](https://x.com/NounsFair/status/1994467673908924473?s=20), and we had our second fanzine workshop.

More pics of the art market:

And, last but not least, here's a sample of the key visuals and branding of the Nouns Fair, made by Bure:

## Day 6
On Saturday, 22nd -the last day- riso printing was in full swing! The last two artworks created the day before, and a 2026 Nouns calendar, were printed and distributed. We had a brief closing session with the artists in residence and enjoyed the last hours of the Nouns Fair, sharing moments and processing all we had lived through the week.
After six intense days of work and emotions, we realized this was more than we could have imagined. The space served as a base home for Nouns folks. Nouns, Nouns Amigos, Nouns Brazil, Gnars, Nouns Builder, Lil Nouns, nouners, builders, fans, and everyone who identifies with Nouns were there. It's impressive how many people come and say "I love Nouns!" over and over, and how delighted they are to see we are thriving and showing the positive parts of crypto.
Lots of seeds were planted, and we are excited to see them bloom in the coming weeks and months (already two new members who were there have joined the DAO) -- long live Nouns as the cultural layer of Ethereum!

## Key numbers from The Nouns Fair

GM, here’s our newest flash update.
We’ve been working on several fronts — space design, main image, artist curation/invitations, the round on nouns.gg, a few X Spaces, community schedule, and legal/logistics.
- **Main image:** We’re collaborating with Bure on the key visual for the event — it’ll represent the Nouns space both digitally and physically (see the images in the next section).
- **Space design:** We’ve been shaping the layout and activities for the week. So far, expect live art-making, animation, risograph and merch printing, a showcase for nounish projects, several hands-on workshops (zines, animation, stamps, and more), a Nouns museum, work tables, and a game corner.
Here’s a glimpse of how we envision it

- **Curating artists:** We have a curated selection of 9 illustrators and 2 animators that will be part of the Nouns art residency (soon to be announced).
- **Open call:** We also started a round in nouns.gg to select an additional artist by nouners collectively. The round is still open for submissions, and you will be able to vote for your favorite artist soon, here:
- Announcement: https://x.com/nounsdao/status/1978238439523860709
- Round: https://nouns.gg/c/nouns-gg/rounds/nouns-devconnect
- **Spaces:** We co-hosted a couple of X spaces from the main Nouns X account, in English and Spanish. Both are available for replay here:
- Space in English: https://x.com/nounsdao/status/1975297499171795372
- Space in Spanish: https://x.com/nounsdao/status/1976039879831322703
- **Community schedule:** We've been in contact with a few people to coordinate their showcase at the event. We are now rolling out this form for any Nouns community member who wants to showcase a project of their own. Please apply if you want to take part:
- **Legal and logistics:** A few legal topics such as signing a supporter's agreement to become a part of the event, and logistics related to vendors, and insurance for the main crew and vendors accessing the venue.
We've also been in contact with Benjamin Latsko, Humpty, and Willywonka, who have plans for the Devconnect week.
Please get in contact or drop a comment here if you have any questions.
Thank you all!
Quack and Lola are among the most successful projects that surged from Nouns. They're the closest thing to making Nouns succeed outside the crypto ecosystem.
Rewarding the builders for doing cool and impactful work is always a good idea and a signal of encouragement for future builders.
Let's put money where our mouth is.
+1
> Pretty wild to call Quack & Lola extractive. By far the most successful project we've funded to date. "At a glance" section is inspiring. Congrats to the team!
+1
> Easy yes. One of the few projects you can talk with someone about when explaining Nouns. This instance of retro funding is about rewarding impact to me. This team took Nouns initial support and delivered big results. A 10 ETH retro is a small gesture that signals we celebrate builders who overdeliver, sustain themselves, and continue to proliferate the meme.. exactly the kind of outcome we want to encourage.
+1
> “Quack and Lola have broken out beyond crypto and into the mainstream. Other than Pudgy Penguins, I can't think of another crypto native IP that is performing as well.”
>
> Echo-ing Humpty here.
>
> This team hit a home run on this and I’m pro setting a standard where we reward top talent for working on Nouns.
I'm a big fan of Benjamin's work. He delivers and executes flawlessly every single time. The App Town Hall ⌐◨-◨ concept is excellent, and it's wonderful to see how Nouns is becoming the cultural layer of Ethereum. I'm very supportive and excited to see it come to life.
gm everyone – I'll be posting propdates to share updates and communicate some ideas as we go.
We are planning to create a landing page (website) using the subdomain devconnect.nouns.wtf to include the schedule of activities and to serve as a primer for attendees.
DUNA admin, Indexcard, is the manager of the .wtf domain and could set up the subdomain to redirect to the website.
Please react to this message with a like or leave an onchain comment to see if it's a good idea and move forward with the subdomain idea.
Nouns is going to DevConnect!!!
Thank you all for your support! It's time to put our heads down and make this a reality. I'll keep you posted soon wrt the community schedule, design, and artists.
In the meantime, feel free to DM me about anything related to the showcase space.

Thanks for the kind words!
Re: prints: Every artist will make a final artwork with a run of 500 prints, and we'll get at least 10 artists at the event. We'll print at least 5,000 prints throughout the week.
Re: nouns.gg: Let's chat to plan a round to select the "community-picked artist"!
>
>
> Is it 500 RISO prints per day? Or 500 prints through the week?
>
> Enjoyed seeing the double down on artist stipend 👏 I hope we have a "send an artist to Devcon" on nouns.gg (if possible)
>
> + Your proposal is very well organized and it just signals how elegant and beautiful the booth will look.
>
> s.o. to /gmfarcaster the best web3 news

A few notes before voting starts on why this matters and what we could expect:
- **Increased mindshare:** Anyone can participate in Nouns, but not everyone knows that. Having Nouns at DevConnect will help us gain mindshare with Ethereum natives, sending a clear signal that they could play a part, and attract more governance members.
- **Cultural relevance:** This will position Nouns as the visual and cultural layer of Ethereum, bringing artists, builders, members, and fans together in a collaborative and creative space.
- **Strengthen ties:** Partnering with the Ethereum Foundation puts Nouns in the Ethereum history as a living DAO that supports and embodies the ethos of the network.
- **Cool Nounish art:** Putting talented artists in the same room will result in spontaneous collaborations and quality artworks merging Ethereum and Nouns.
**P.S.** Thanks to the DevConnect team for their support and willingness to help us participate in the event.
@0x9e0e...57B1
Hey! I'm glad you asked. Over the course of more than a dozen events we've organized, around 500 projects have been created based on the prompts we provided. This has resulted in numerous lines of code being contributed.
It has been challenging to track the activity of all the individuals who have witnessed and interacted with Nouns at our events, which have impacted over 13,000 people in two years. Some attendees have come and gone, while others, like fattybuthappy.eth, have remained involved. Some people have proposed to the DAO, while others have contributed independently, such as the Blockscout team, who integrated [Nouns PFPs](https://x.com/blockscout/status/1923374654963454370) into their block explorer.
In short, many people have contributed code, art, and governance ideas after attending events like these.
>
>
> I want to see if there’s any dev in the Nouns ecosystem who actually ever contributed some lines of code to Nouns in any way, and got introduced to Nouns from one of these IRL events. Pretty curious to know that before casting my vote.
>
The beauty of in-person events lies in the entropy and serendipity they create. This event will spark and seed Nouns in as many as possible of the 10-20k expected attendees.
# Nouns @ DevConnect 2025 (revised)

# 📌 TL;DR
We’re bringing the art of storytelling, onchain minting, and risograph printing together in Buenos Aires for [DevConnect](https://devconnect.org/) 2025. "The Nouns Fair: Draw ETH. Mint ETH. Print ETH." is a hands-on activation where artists will jam, draw, mint on Ethereum, and print their creations live with a risograph.
It’s part art residency, part minting lab, part print studio — and all Ethereum x Nouns.

# 🎡 The Nouns Fair: Draw ETH. Mint ETH. Print ETH.
## 🧪 Printing and Minting Lab
In November, we will host an art minting and printing lab at DevConnect 2025 in Buenos Aires in partnership with the Ethereum Foundation. This creative space will welcome thousands of the 10–20k expected attendees throughout the week, showcasing Ethereum as a home for art and culture by hosting artists who merge visual storytelling with Ethereum x Nouns and risograph printing.
The minting and printing lab will operate during DevConnect throughout the week, where artists will:
- Celebrate the Noun of the day at Noun o'clock
- Develop mini narratives & visual stories
- Learn about NFTs in a no-BS way
- Mint their creations as collectibles on Ethereum
- Print their work live on a vintage-style risograph machine
And general attendees will:
- Learn about Nouns in a dedicated showcase
- Celebrate the Noun of the day at Noun o'clock
- Get Nouns' merch and swag
- Meet and greet the nounish artists
- Meet and share ideas with the Nouns community
## 🧑 Featured Artists
We'll invite a curated cohort of at least 10 artists (because Ethereum's 10th anniversary!) to participate in a short-term art residency at the Ethereum World's Fair. A mix of established artists within the Nouns ecosystem and renowned artists in the Argentine illustration scene, helping to root this project in the local creative community.
Each artist will create a final artwork to be minted as an open edition and produced as a run of 500 risograph prints. We'll have different artists working on their creations each day, which will be printed at the end of the day, for five consecutive days. On the sixth day, we'll bring everyone onsite to participate in a free jam to close the event.
We are currently in talks with several artists and will announce the final lineup in future updates. ;) – our first confirmed artist is [Kidd](https://farcaster.xyz/holakidd)! ✨

## 🖼️ Nouns Environment and Gallery
The space will be fully covered with Nouns art featuring representative projects, making the space as nounish as possible. Additionally, we will install a gallery that showcases videos, illustrations, and animations of Nouns' artwork and projects.

## 🗓️ Nouns Community Schedule
We will create a community space designed to host Nouns builders, who can share their projects through a lightning talk, activation, or small workshop. We want to make this a collaborative space for the Nouns and Ethereum communities.

*Image reference: World of Apps ⌐◨-◨ at ETHNYC. 2025.*
## 🕰️ Noun o' Clock
We'll celebrate the birth of a new Noun every day at DevConnect at Noun o'Clock. A celebration attended by thousands of people every day for a week.

*Image reference: This is Nouns; ETHGlobal Lisbon 2023.*
---
DevConnect is Ethereum's most relevant and highly expected event of the year. We will transform the space into an art lab, where attendees will witness the creative process, engage with artists, and their art. We want to create a connection with Ethereum through the playful spirit of Nouns. We aim to bring Nouns' good vibes to the core, making Nouns the cultural and visual layer of Ethereum.
---
Fun fact: we’ve handed out Nouns risography prints at every edition of the Nouns Fair. For us, it’s fun to spark conversations about new technologies and creative practices while grounding them in traditional media, bringing together both worlds. Using risography feels fitting—its punk, DIY spirit of self-publishing echoes the cypherpunk ethos at the heart of Ethereum.
For those unfamiliar with risograph printing, take a look at this fantastic batch of postcard prints created by the talented team of Nouns Beyond Screens. You can also [check this short video](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/1zA7gDFvO-k) explainer about risograph printing.

## 🎨 Featured Artists
We'll invite a curated cohort of 10 artists (because Ethereum's 10th anniversary!) to participate in a short-term art residency at the Ethereum World's Fair. A mix of established artists within the Nouns ecosystem and renowned artists in the Argentine illustration scene, helping to root this project in the local creative community.
Each artist will create a final artwork to be minted as an open edition and produced as a run of 500 risograph prints. We'll have two different artists working on their creations each day, which will be printed at the end of the day, for five consecutive days. On the sixth day, we'll bring everyone onsite to participate in a free jam to close the event.
We are currently in talks with several artists and will announce the final lineup in future updates. ;) – our first confirmed artist is [Kidd](https://farcaster.xyz/holakidd)! ✨

### 🖼️ Nouns Environment and Gallery
The space will be fully covered with Nouns art featuring representative projects, making the space as nounish as possible. Additionally, we will install a gallery that showcases videos, illustrations, and animations of Nouns' artwork and projects.

## 🗓️ Nouns Community Schedule
We will create a community space designed to host Nouns builders, who can share their projects through a lightning talk, activation, or small workshop. We want to make this a collaborative space for the Nouns and Ethereum communities.
## 🕰️ Noun o' Clock
We'll celebrate the birth of a new Noun every day at DevConnect at Noun o'clock. A massive celebration attended by thousands of people every day for a week.
---
DevConnect is Ethereum's most relevant and highly expected event of the year.

For those unfamiliar with risograph printing, take a look at this fantastic batch of prints created by the talented team of Nouns Beyond Screens below. You can also [check this short video](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/1zA7gDFvO-k) explainer about risograph printing.

Pause auctions&&There are grifters around bidding and winning tokens. Let's pause auctions to prevent them from accumulating more tokens while we determine how to remove them permanently.
Sharing my answer to Gramajo's question here for more visibility:
Hey @gramajo.eth, thanks for the questions.
Re: Open editions: we haven't decided yet whether OEs will be free mints or paid. In any case, if we end up setting a price, we'll ensure a split between Nouns and the artists.
Re: RISO operators: artists and RISO operators are different people. We contacted a local riso studio that will operate the machine and make the production. Artists will be a selection mix of known artists in the Nouns community and local artists new to Nouns and Ethereum.
Re: Booth production: This isn't a setup fee. This budget is to "dress up" the space with fabric banners that will be part of the space setup. This budget considers design work and production.
Re: Riso budget: it's more than that! This budget includes renting the machine for a week, printing supplies (ink, paper, masters) to reproduce the artworks, transportation, a scanner, working tables, chairs, etc.
Happy to answer more questions!
