+1 > At first I did not understand the significance of this proposal, but thankfully I took the time to go on the Nouns Japan X spaces where I was able to ask questions and they had an interpreter there for me which was very helpful. Essentially I like to compare Kitpas to Yoga.... in order to be a Yoga instructor you have to go through training, in order to be a Kitpas instructor you have to go through training.... currently there 204 Kitpas instructors in the world, all of which are in Japan... so part of this proposal is to have Midas travel to Japan to participate in the training so he can become an instructor and also teach others within the US. Just to clarify the travel in this prop is for Midas to travel to Japan for the instructor workshop and then for Tagawa to travel within Japan for trainings & Nouns themed workshops where he creates art with students.

We are one of the official partners for the fun run event. https://x.com/0xwideeye/status/1808023753567395995 Specifically, we provided Nounish media (shout out to CC0-Lib), which was turned into stickers and shared throughout the event. We'd also like to reiterate a point we've previously shared: we are not creating for the sake of creating. Finding the right location for our Nounish public installations is just as important as the creations themselves. Mt. Liupian, with its ongoing events and natural appeal, is an excellent location. A public installation there allows ⌐◨-◨ to be seen and appreciated by many, aligning with our goal to attract people to the ⌐◨-◨ brand, having them enjoy ⌐◨-◨ , rather than pushing information onto them. Therefore, location was a key factor when we were planning Prop 570. The content being shared was simply a happy coincidence that aligned with the ongoing Prop 570. To suggest that our efforts were disingenuous is harsh. # Nouns Public Infrastructure; A Playful Nounish Expansion ### **TL;DR** Through [Prop 211](https://www.nouns.camp/proposals/211) we were able to propelled the meme and bring Nouns into a new geographic, introducing it to new audience while contributing to the lore of Nouns. Navigating in a new geographic led us to realized that a significant part of Nouns attraction came from it's friendliness thus building on that, this proposal aim to reach beyond crypto native and focus on: * furthering Nouns presence IRL via nounish public infrastructure * enhance brand recognition from non-crypto audience We seek **64,300 USDC** for constructing a series of Nounish public infrastructure that will be situated at the newly revamped *Mt. Liupian forest park resting area*. Additionally, we request **2ETH** to host a prophouse round where community/artist/designer can participate and submit their nounish infrastructure ideas. Going into 2024, we want to be part of that same energy all while focusing on pushing forth Nouns beyond the crypto community. We belief Nouns' magic shouldn't be confined to only onchain or online platforms; as a CC0 brand, Nouns can transcend boundaries, attracting fans from every direction. Nounish public infrastructure: 1) Aligns with Nouns' mission as a public good. 2) Creatively demonstrates the limitless transformation of Nouns' assets for universal enjoyment. 3) Moreover, a site will be created to showcase other similar nounish activation powered by Nouns which can be access easily from these Nounish public infrastructure. 4) This would enhance brand recognition among non-crypto audience through organic interactions, as they discover Nouns while having their activities around these Nounish public infrastructure. Liupian, known for its clear ridge lines, jagged cliffs, and beautiful reservoirs. These have made Mt. Liupian a popular destination for adventure-seekers and nature lovers. This approximately 267-hectare area is undergoing progressive redevelopment to accommodate the growing number of visitors. With the recent completion of their forest park resting area refurbishment, and leveraging our established relationship with the authorities, we've already received approval for the installation of Nounish public infrastructure at the rest area. The rest area is located right next to the iconic reservoir (*Tear of Guangzhou*), making it the go to spot for visitors. Placing our Nounish infrastructure strategically at the rest area ensures functionality while creating a popular spot at Mt. Liupian. Is this playground open to public?** Yes! This will be a public playground that is accessible to everyone; a large scale tangible Nounish public good. **2. Is the land for the themed playground secured?** Yes! We have secured a 2000sqm plot of land beside Element 6 to construct this themed playground. **3. What is Element 6?** Element 6, located in Guangzhou, is a recreational hub with a diverse range of indoor and outdoor activities, include but not limited to go-karting, rock climbing, surf simulator and more; drawing an average monthly footfall of 800,000 visitors. Are there any liability concerns?** Liabilities are covered under Element 6's insurance that enveloped both indoor and outdoor activities. **5. Will we encounter any permit issues?** Element 6 owns the land and it is commercially zoned, where the proposed construction work aligns with zoning regulations. We've also conducted due diligence, including consulting with the authorities, and received verbal approval thus, we are confidence in obtaining the final official approval in a timely manner. **6. Can this prop be done in phases?** Progressing in phases to protect the DAO's interest is an ideal approach; however, the land allocation offered to us isn't available in perpetual for gradual proposals process. Therefore, we've structured the funding in a manner that allow us to commit to this project with an initial release, while the rest is released via stream as we progress, which the DAO can halt if any unforeseen issues arise. **7. Why not just fund the design of the play-structures?** Funding open-source product is Nounish; however, it's wasteful without utilization, and its impact is diminished in the absence of (in this case) tangible play-structure to showcase actual playability and potential. The physical Nouns Themed Playground would help facilitate the propagation of such reusable components to other location & industry professionals with greater effectiveness. **8. How is this prop scalable?** Playground equipment had a market share of $4.91 billion in 2022, with a projected increase to $9.65 billion by 2030, reflecting a 7% CAGR from 2023 to 2030. This highlights a linear growth in this market. The physical Nouns themed playground would allow us to showcase and build trust with industry professionals, allowing us to share our open-source designs with them, to have them integrate Nouns themed play-structures into their product catalogs confidently. We are able to promote open-source while at the same time allowing us to **leverage on their clientele and this growing market, boosting adoption** of Nouns themed play-structures in playgrounds worldwide, given the preference for catalog-based designs by most clients. Furthermore, anyone, especially builders in Nouns community can also use this activation as a monument to ease interaction with their local town that do not have playground or intent to build a playground, to eventually plug and build a Nouns Themed Playground using the open-source design. ## **Budget** **[UPDATE]** *We've secured a new contractor for the design and fabrication of our Nouns themed play-structure, reducing cost by 12%.* ### **Allocation** The total proposed budget is **594,850 USD** for 6mths duration, with an allocation as follows: **1.
